This study introduces an innovative approach to optimize cloud computing job distribution using the Improved Dynamic Johnson Sequencing Algorithm(DJS).Emphasizing on-demand resource sharing,typical to cloud Service Providers(cSPs),the research focuses on minimizing job completion delays through efficient task *** Johnson’s rule from operations research,the study addresses the challenge of resource availability post-task *** advocates for queuing models with multiple servers and finite capacity to improve job scheduling models,subsequently reducing wait times and queue *** Dynamic Johnson Sequencing Algorithm and the M/M/c/k queuing model are applied to optimize task sequences,showcasing their efficacy through comparative *** research evaluates the impact of makespan calculation on data file transfer times and assesses vital performance indicators,ultimately positioning the proposed technique as superior to existing approaches,offering a robust framework for enhanced task scheduling and resource allocation in cloud computing.

Study of Structural, Optical, Electrical and Dielectric Properties of Gd-Doped ZnO composites Synthesized by Solid State Reaction Method

In this manuscript, we are reporting structural, bonding, optical, dielectric, and electrical properties of Gd-doped ZnO composite samples (Zn1−xGdxO, x = 0, 0.05, 0.10) prepared by solid-state reaction method. XRD spectra confirm the wurtzite hexagonal phase with a grain size distribution of 42 - 47 nm. The FT-IR spectra confirm bonding behavior like Zn-O, O=c=O, and O-H stretching modes. FESEM micrographs show that the grains of crystallites possess nearly spherical morphology. Optical absorption spectra confirm that the optical band gap decreases systematically from 3.19 eV to 3.15 eV for x = 0.0 to x = 0.10 samples. For all samples, PL spectra exhibited near-band emission, blue emission, and green emission peaks. The dielectric constant decreases as the applied frequency increases. Hall effect results show that with increasing doping concentration of Gd, mobility and resistivity increase while bulk.concentration decreases. current-Voltage study shows that current increases when temperature is increased. Rare earth-doped ZnO is potential material used for optoelectronics and spintronics device applications. Properties of Gd-doped ZnO are studied by various research groups, but dielectric studies are limitedly reported. Therefore, the present research work aims to study the change of electrical, optical, and dielectric properties of Gd-doped ZnO for device applications.

The radio-frequency (RF) performance of the p-type NiO-pocket based β-Ga_(2)O_(3)/black phosphorous heterostructureMOSFET has been evaluated. The key figure of merits (FOMs) for device performance evaluation include the transconductance(gm) gate dependent intrinsic-capacitances (cgd and cgs), cutoff frequency (fT), gain bandwidth (GBW) product and output-conductance(gd). Similarly, power-gain (Gp), power added efficiency (PAE), and output power (POUT) are also investigated for largesignalcontinuous-wave (cW) RF performance evaluation. The motive behind the study is to improve the β-Ga_(2)O_(3) MOS deviceperformance along with a reduction in power losses and device associated leakages. To show the applicability of the designeddevice in RF applications, its RF FOMs are analyzed. With the outline characteristics of the ultrathin black phosphorous layer belowthe β-Ga_(2)O_(3) channel region, the proposed device results in 1.09 times improvement in fT, with 0.7 times lower cgs, and 3.27dB improved GP in comparison to the NiO-GO MOSFET. The results indicate that the designed NiO-GO/BP MOSFET has betterRF performance with improved power gain and low leakages.

In this paper,the spatio-temporal variation and propagation direction of coal fire were studied in the Jharia coalfield(JcF),India during 2006–2015 through satellite-based night-time land surface temperature(LST)*** LST was retrieved from Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer(ASTER)night-time thermal-infrared data by a robust split-window algorithm based on scene-specific regression coefficients,band-specific hybrid emissivity,and night-time atmospheric *** LST-profile-based coal fire detection algorithm was formulated through statistical analysis of the LST values along multiple transects across diverse coal fire locations in the JcF in order to compute date-specific threshold temperatures for separating thermally-anomalous and background *** algorithm efficiently separates surface fire,subsurface fire,and thermally-anomalous transitional *** the observation period,it was noticed that the coal fire area increased significantly,which resulted from new coal fire at many places owing to extensive opencast-mining *** was observed that the fire propagation occurred primarily along the dip direction of the coal *** places,lateral-propagation of limited spatial extent was also observed along the strike direction possibly due to spatial continuity of the coal seams along ***,the opencast-mining activities carried out during 2009–2015 and the structurally weak planes facilitated the fire propagation.

Data are crucial to the growth of e-commerce in today's world of highly demanding hyper-personalized consumer experiences,which are collected using advanced web scraping ***,core data extraction engines fail because they cannot adapt to the dynamic changes in website *** study investigates an intelligent and adaptive web data extraction system with convolutional and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)networks to enable automated web page detection using the You only look once(Yolo)algorithm and Tesseract LSTM to extract product details,which are detected as images from web *** state-of-the-art system does not need a core data extraction engine,and thus can adapt to dynamic changes in website *** conducted on real-world retail cases demonstrate an image detection(precision)and character extraction accuracy(precision)of 97%and 99%,*** addition,a mean average precision of 74%,with an input dataset of 45 objects or images,is obtained.

The Receptor-Like kinase （RLk） is a vast protein family with over 600 genes in Arabidopsis and 1100 in rice. The Lectin RLk （LecRLk） family is believed to play crucial roles in saccharide signaling as well as stress perception. All the LecRLks possess three domains： an N-terminal lectin domain, an intermediate transmembrane domain, and a c-terminal kinase domain. On the basis of lectin domain variability, LecRLks have been subgrouped into three subclasses： L-, G-, and c-type LecRLks. While the previous studies on LecRLks were dedicated to classification, comparative structural analysis and expression analysis by promoter-based studies, most of the recent studies on LecRLks have laid special emphasis on the potential of this gene family in regulating biotic/abiotic stress and developmental pathways in plants, thus mak- ing the prospects of studying the LecRLk-mediated regulatory mechanism exceptionally promising. In this review, we have described in detail the LecRLk gene family with respect to a historical, evolutionary, and structural point of view. Furthermore, we have laid emphasis on the LecRLks roles in development, stress conditions, and hormonal response. We have also discussed the exciting research prospects offered by the current knowledge on the LecRLk gene family. The multitude of the LecRLk gene family members and their functional diversity mark these genes as both interesting and worthy candidates for further analysis, especially in the field of crop improvement.

Here we demonstrate the fabrication, electrochemical performance and application of an asymmetric supercapacitor (AS) device constructed with ss-Ni(OH)(2)/MWcNTs as positive electrode and kOH activated honeycomb-like porous carbon (k-Pc) derived from banana fibers as negative electrode. Initially, the electrochemical performance of hydrothermally synthesized ss-Ni(OH)(2)/MWcNTs nanocomposite and k-Pc was studied in a three-electrode system using 1 M kOH. These materials exhibited a specific capacitance (cs) of 1327 Fig and 324 F/g respectively at a scan rate of 10 mV/s. Further, the AS device i.e., ss-Ni(OH)(2)/MWcNTs// k-Pc in 1 M kOH solution, demonstrated a cs of 156 F/g at scan rate of 10 mV/s in a broad cell voltage of 0-2.2 V. The device demonstrated a good rate capability by maintaining a cs of 59 F/g even at high current density (25 A/g). The device also offered high energy density of 63 Wh/kg with maximum power density of 5.2 kW/kg. The AS device exhibited excellent cycle life with 100% capacitance retention at 5000th cycle at a high current density of 25 A/g. Two AS devices connected in series were employed for powering a pair of LEDs of different colors and also a mini fan. Working with a biased atomic force microscope(AFM)tip in the tapping mode under ambient atmosphere,attoliter(10^(-18) L)water droplet patterns have been generated on a patterned carbonaceous *** is essentially electrocondensation of water leading to charged droplets,as evidenced from electrostatic force microscopy *** droplets are unusual in that they exhibit a highly corrugated surface and evaporate rather slowly,taking several tens of minutes.
