Infectious bursal disease(IBD)is an important contagious viral infection of immune system of *** infection possesses a permanent threat to the profitability of poultry industry *** aim of this work was to modify the Taq Man-MGB real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(rRT-PCR)in one step involving two fluorogenic Taq Man labeled probe and using this protocol for detection of infectious bursal disease virus(IBDV)collected from suspected cases distributed in different regions of the country during the period *** intralaboratory validation of modified method was realized for specificity,linearity,repeatability,sensitivity and *** allowed reducing the test running time by six *** method was applied on 102 pools of bursa of fabricius(BF)samples collected from affected broiler farms suspected to be infected by *** showing macroscopic lesions including muscle petechial hemorrhages,hypertrophy and hemorrhage of BF,were subjected to molecular analysis using modified protocol“Taq Man-MGB rRT-PCR”.The validation satisfied all criteria and the assay developed could be a useful tool for a very rapid diagnosis of IBDV and permit to detect and to discriminate in one-step very virulent(vv)from non-vv(classic and variant)IBDV *** of 84 IBDV positive samples,a prevalence of 39%for vv strains and 61%for classical strains was *** results indicate that despite the vaccination against IBDV,the vv form of this pathologie continues to cause serious problems for Moroccan broiler *** obtained results indicate the successfully detection of IBDV and differentiated all vvIBDV strains from non-vvIBDV strains;Avian infectious agent RNA viruses tested are negative,demonstrating great specificity of the *** results obtained indicate that this method is suitable as a routine laboratory test for the rapid detection and differentiation of IBDV strains in samples of avian origin.

Mycoplasma synoviae （MS） is an economically important pathogenic agent of chickens, causing air sacculitis and synovitis. The diagnosis and monitoring of M. synoviae infection is usually made using serological assays, while confirmative diagnosis is made by isolation and identifcation of the organism, because of the cross reaction between M. gallisepticum and M. synoviae. This study was conducted from 2011 to 2013 during which l l broiler breeder flocks were sampled. These farms were located in all regions of morocco, The sampling was conducted as follows： Farms were visited on day one old chicks ＂day of importation from Europe＂. 20 to 60 ＂chicks＂ were randomly sampled. At the age of 8, 16, 32 and 56 weeks, 60 blood samples and 60 tracheal swabs were collected at each sampling. The serological screening was performed using Rapid Slide Agglutination （RSA） according the OIE protocol and Indirect EL1SA （IDEXX） according the manufacturer＇s instructions. The molecular diagnosis was performed using a commercial kit of a duplex real time PCR （Life Biotechnology）. The results revealed that one day old chicks were negative to MS by RSA and PCR, however they have a variable stock of maternal antibodies （Ig-Y） detected by iELISA. The seroprevalence found by RSA is variable and increase with the age （Sth week： 55%, 16th week： 91%, 32tb and 56th week： 100%）, the same profile was traced by PCR （Sth week： 36%, 16th week： 64%, 32th week： 82%, 56th week： 100%）, however, all farms were positive by iELISA, from the first day to 56th weeks. These results show that MS infections are very frequent and very widespread among poultry breeder flocks, and showed a perfect agreement between serological tests and Real time PCR starting from 32th week of age.

Conventional thermal treatment in food processing relies on the transfer of heat by conduction and *** alternative to this conventional thermal treatment is radio-frequency(RF)heating in which electromagnetic energy is transferred directly to the heated *** longer wavelengths of RF compared with microwaves are able to penetrate further into the food products resulting in more even heating.A review of RF heating for the food processing industry is presented here with an emphasis on scientific principles and the advantages and applications of *** of RF heating include blanching,thawing,drying,and processing of *** heating represents considerable potential for additional research and the transfer of technology to the food processing *** simulation can be used to improve RF heating ***,the heating uniformity in the rotated eggs is greater than in the static *** has also been used to blanch vegetables to increase ascorbic acid content to achieve the highest vitamin C *** use of the thawing technology has resulted in better quality of treated *** has been increased interest in the RF-drying method due to the homogeneity of heating,greater penetration depth,and more stable control of the product ***-treated meat had improved quality and coagulation with acceptable taste and *** addition,RF heating is used in pasteurization of yogurt and destruction of microorganisms in liquid and solid foods.

Fourth-Order Compact Formulation for the Resolution of Heat Transfer in Natural Convection of Water-Cu Nanofluid in a Square Cavity with a Sinusoidal Boundary Thermal Condition

In the present work, we numerically study the laminar natural convection of a nanofluid confined in a square cavity. The vertical walls are assumed to be insulated, non-conducting, and impermeable to mass transfer. The horizontal walls are differentially heated, and the low is maintained at hot condition (sinusoidal) when the high one is cold. The objective of this work is to develop a new height accurate method for solving heat transfer equations. The new method is a Fourth Order Compact (F.O.C). This work aims to show the interest of the method and understand the effect of the presence of nanofluids in closed square systems on the natural convection mechanism. The numerical simulations are performed for Prandtl number ( ), the Rayleigh numbers varying between and for different volume fractions varies between 0% and 10% for the nanofluid (water + Cu).

Several types of solid acid catalysts were prepared based on oxides like (ZrO2, TiO2, HfO2, MCM-41 and SBA-15). Each catalyst was subjected separately to two types of impregnations: sulfate ions and niobium. The catalytic activity of these solids was tested in the oxidation reaction of 1-octanol. These catalysts showed acidic and redox characters. MCM-41 and SBA-15 materials showed higher redox catalytic activities through the formation of (octyl octanoate, peroxyacetal and octanal). Our interest was focused on obtaining the ester (octyl octanoate) with high yields.

Several types of solid acid catalysts were prepared based on oxides like (ZrO2, TiO2, HfO2, MCM-41 and SBA-15), using two main preparation methods: the precipitation and the sol-gel methods. Each catalyst was subjected to two types of impregnations: sulfate ions using sulfuric acid as precursor and niobium using niobium oxalate as precursor. These prepared catalysts were tested in the etherification reaction of 2-naphtol, where the catalysts showed both acidic and redox properties. The acidic character was manifested through the formation of 2-butoxynaphtalene (with moderate yields) when oxide is sulfated, and the redox character (when impregnated with niobium) manifested through the formation of the interesting product 2-ethylnaphtofuran (with low yields) and other products that were a result of oxidative coupling of two 2-naphtol molecules (binol and acetal of binol). However despite the effort, several attempts to increase the yield of 2-ethylnaphtofuran did not work. All products prepared were obtained in pure form and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, GC and MS.

Gastric adenocarcinoma is the most common gastric tumor. It is the fifth most common cancer worldwide after lung cancer, breast, colo rectal and prostate cancer. Long considered enigmatic, its epidemiology has changed over time. In fact, the incidence of distal gastric cancer has declined while that of the cardia was stable or increased. This cancer is multifactorial but reducing the incidence of distal cancer is particularly attributed to advances in the treatment of H. pylori infection. In this review, we analyzed the available data concerning the changing epidemiology of gastric cancer and the main risk factors. The incidence of distal cancer is definitely declining due to the control of Helicobacter pylori infection. Proximal gastric cancer and cardia cancer is particularly due to smoking, overweight.
