The scarcity of native periosteum poses a significant clinical barrier in the repair of critical-sized bone *** challenge of enhancing regenerative potential in bone healing is further compounded by oxidative stress at the fracture ***,the introduction of artificial periosteum has demonstrated its ability to promote bone regeneration through the provision of appropriate mechanical support and controlled release of proosteogenic *** this study,a poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)/hyaluronic acid(HA)-based nanofibrous membrane was fabricated using the coaxial electrospinning *** incorporation of irisin into the core-shell structure of PLLA/HA nanofibers(PLLA/HA@Irisin)achieved its sustained *** vitro experiments demonstrated that the PLLA/HA@Irisin membranes exhibited favorable *** osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSCs)was improved by PLLA/HA@Irisin,as evidenced by a significant increase in alkaline phosphatase activity and matrix ***,PLLA/HA@Irisin significantly enhanced the mitochondrial function of BMMSCs via the activation of the sirtuin 3 antioxidant *** assess the therapeutic effectiveness,PLLA/HA@Irisin membranes were implanted in situ into critical-sized calvarial defects in *** results at 4 and 8 weeks post-surgery indicated that the implantation of PLLA/HA@Irisin exhibited superior efficacy in promoting vascularized bone formation,as demonstrated by the enhancement of bone matrix synthesis and the development of new blood *** results of our study indicate that the electrospun PLLA/HA@Irisin nanofibers possess characteristics of a biomimetic periosteum,showing potential for effectively treating critical-sized bone defects by improving the mitochondrial function and maintaining redox homeostasis of BMMSCs.

Theoretical and experimental investigation of the resonance responses and chaotic dynamics of a bistable laminated composite shell in the dynamic snap-through mode

The dynamic model of a bistable laminated composite shell simply supported by four corners is further developed to investigate the resonance responses and chaotic *** existence of the 1:1 resonance relationship between two order vibration modes of the system is *** resonance response of this class of bistable structures in the dynamic snap-through mode is investigated,and the four-dimensional(4D)nonlinear modulation equations are derived based on the 1:1 internal resonance relationship by means of the multiple scales *** Hopf bifurcation and instability interval of the amplitude frequency and force amplitude curves are *** discussion focuses on investigating the effects of key parameters,e.g.,excitation amplitude,damping coefficient,and detuning parameters,on the resonance *** numerical simulations show that the foundation excitation and the degree of coupling between the vibration modes exert a substantial effect on the chaotic dynamics of the ***,the significant motions under particular excitation conditions are visualized by bifurcation diagrams,time histories,phase portraits,three-dimensional(3D)phase portraits,and Poincare ***,the vibration experiment is carried out to study the amplitude frequency responses and bifurcation characteristics for the bistable laminated composite shell,yielding results that are qualitatively consistent with the theoretical results.

Evaluation of the Effects of Sugary Beverages on the Health of Adolescent Students in Guangxi Based on Health System Function Scores

Objective:To evaluate the health effects of sugary beverage consumption among adolescent students in ***:In three cities of Guangxi(nanning,Liuzhou,and Guilin),we investigated the consumption of sugary beverages by distributing a self-administered Functional Assessment Questionnaire of Life Health System and a Dietary Behavior Questionnaire(this paper analyzes only the part of sugary beverage consumption)to adolescent students in four schools,aiming to find out the general health status of the students and also to assess the effects of sugary beverages on the functional system health of adolescent ***:A total of 953 adolescent students between the ages of 14 and 24 were *** them,46.17%consumed sugary beverages once a week;37.46%consumed them 2-3 times;11.52%consumed them more than 3 times;and 4.83%consumed them every *** mean score of Functional Assessment Questionnaire of Life Health System was *** was a positive correlation between the frequency of consumption of sugary beverages and the overall systemic function assessment score(P0.05).The correlation between consuming sugary beverages once a week and 2-3 times a week and endocrine system scores was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:More than half of the students in the surveyed areas consumed sugary beverages two or more times a week,and the higher the frequency of consumption,the higher the scores of systemic function *** education on sugar reduction among adolescents should be strengthened.

目的构建2型糖尿病肾病并发骨质疏松大鼠模型。方法选用SD大鼠,通过喂养高糖高脂饲料4周后,予以链脲佐菌素(STZ 35 mg/kg)进行腹腔注射,继续喂养4周后观察血糖、尿量、尿蛋白及Ca、P等生化指标变化,通过双能X线测量骨密度以及进行生物力学检测骨强度,并取肾、骨组织进行病理检测。结果造模组在高糖高脂饲料喂养后,血糖、尿量及尿蛋白较正常组均逐渐升高,在第4周腹腔注射链脲佐菌素后,造模组的血糖、尿量及尿蛋白较正常组显著升高。在第8周时,造模组的血糖、尿量、尿蛋白及尿Ca、P均明显高于正常组,差异有统计学意义。造模组的骨密度及骨骼强度低于正常组。病理显示造模组大鼠出现肾脏肥大,肾小球毛细血管袢肥大,系膜基质增多肾脏病变以及骨小梁稀疏、变细、连续性中断等骨骼病变。结论通过腹腔注射链脲佐菌素联合8周高糖高脂饮食可建立2型糖尿病肾病并发骨质疏松的大鼠模型,该模型具有高糖、多尿、尿蛋白增加、骨密度下降以及肾小球病变和骨吸收增加的特点。

儿童早期词汇的获得和发展对儿童具有重要意义,研究儿童词汇量增长是早期语言发展研究的一个重要方面。本文追踪了一名汉英双语多语码儿童出生后到两岁之间的普通话、粤语和英语的早期词汇获得,从最初词汇、五十个词的里程碑、词汇爆发和非常规意义匹配四个方面进行研究,结果发现该名儿童的普通话词汇发展与汉语儿童的相似,且词汇语义快速发展的标志为泛化现象明显增加,与情感因素挂钩;粤语和英语词汇发展缓慢,有日趋停止的可能。

The Chinese tree shrew(Tupaia belangeri chinensis)has emerged as a promising model for investigating adrenal steroid synthesis,but it is unclear whether the same cells produce steroid hormones and whether their production is regulated in the same way as in ***,we comprehensively mapped the cell types and pathways of steroid metabolism in the adrenal gland of Chinese tree shrews using single-cell RNA sequencing,spatial transcriptome analysis,mass spectrometry,and *** compared the transcriptomes of various adrenal cell types across tree shrews,humans,macaques,and *** showed that tree shrew adrenal glands expressed many of the same key enzymes for steroid synthesis as humans,including CYP11B2,CYP11B1,CYB5A,and *** analysis confirmed the production of aldosterone,cortisol,and dehydroepiandrosterone but not dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in the tree shrew adrenal ***,genes in adrenal cell types in tree shrews were correlated with genetic risk factors for polycystic ovary syndrome,primary aldosteronism,hypertension,and related disorders in humans based on genome-wide association ***,this study suggests that the adrenal glands of Chinese tree shrews may consist of closely related cell populations with functional similarity to those of the human adrenal *** comprehensive results(publicly available at http://***:16245/scAGMap/)should facilitate the advancement of this animal model for the investigation of adrenal gland disorders.
