Electroencephalogram(EEG)is one of the most important bioelectrical signals related to brain activity and plays a crucial role in clinical medicine.Driven by continuously expanding applications,the development of EEG materials and technology has attracted considerable attention.However,systematic analysis of the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology is still lacking.This review discusses the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology.First,the developing course of EEG is introduced to reveal its significance,particularly in clinical medicine.Then,the sustainability of the EEG materials and technology is discussed from two main aspects:integrated systems and EEG electrodes.For integrated systems,sustainability has been focused on the developing trend toward mobile EEG systems and big-data monitoring/analyzing of EEG signals.Sustainability is related to miniaturized,wireless,portable,and wearable systems that are integrated with big-data modeling techniques.For EEG electrodes and materials,sustainability has been comprehensively analyzed from three perspectives:performance of different material/structural categories,sustainablematerials for EEGelectrodes,and sustainable manufacturing technologies.In addition,sustainable applications of EEG have been presented.Finally,the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology in recent decades is summarized,revealing future possible research directions as well as urgent challenges.

Overexpression of a Glycosyltransferase Gene from a Metabolically Poly-Resistant Beckmannia syzigachne Population Alters Growth and Confers Herbicide Resistance to Brachypodium distachyon

Beckmannia syzigachne is a noxious weed for rice-wheat rotations in China.The B.syzigachne(AH-02)population evolved metabolic resistance to fenoxaprop-P-ethyl and mesosulfuron-methyl.To investigate the function of GT73C1 in this population,the GT73C1 gene was amplified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction,and the sequence was 100%consistent with the transcriptome data.Its phylogenetic tree was displayed and annotated using FigTree v1.4.4.The plant overexpression vector of GT73C1 gene was constructed and used to transform Brachypodium distachyon plants.Furthermore,the expression of GT73C1 was significantly induced by fenoxaprop-P-ethyl and mesosulfuron-methyl,which was consistent with the findings from the whole plant bioassay.These results indicate that GT73C1 is closely related to the metabolic resistance of B.distachyon.

Climate and fire drivers of forest composition and openness in the Changbai Mountains since the Late Glacial

Ongoing climate changes have a direct impact on forest growth;they also affect natural fire regimes,with further implications for forest composition.Understanding of how these will affect forests on decadal-to-centennial timescales is limited.Here we use reconstructions of past vegetation,fire regimes and climate during the Holocene to examine the relative importance of changes in climate and fire regimes for the abundance of key tree species in northeastern China.We reconstructed vegetation changes and fire regimes based on pollen and charcoal records from Gushantun peatland.We then used generalized linear modelling to investigate the impact of reconstructed changes in summer temperature,annual precipitation,background levels of fire,fire frequency and fire magnitude to identify the drivers of decadal-to-centennial changes in forest openness and composition.Changes in climate and fire regimes have independent impacts on the abundance of the key tree taxa.Climate variables are generally more important than fire variables in determining the abundance of individual taxa.Precipitation is the only determinant of forest openness,but summer temperature is more important than precipitation for individual tree taxa with warmer summers causing a decrease in cold-tolerant conifers and an increase in warmth-demanding broadleaved trees.Both background level and fire frequency have negative relationships with the abundance of most tree taxa;only Pinus increases as fire frequency increases.The magnitude of individual fires does not have a significant impact on species abundance on this timescale.Both climate and fire regime characteristics must be considered to understand changes in forest composition on the decadal-to-centennial timescale.There are differences,both in sign and magnitude,in the response of individual tree species to individual drivers.

The high nutrient and energy demand of tumor cells compared to normal cells to sustain rapid proliferation offer a potentially auspicious avenue for implementing starvation therapy.However,conventional starvation therapy,such as glucose exhaustion and vascular thrombosis,can lead to systemic toxicity and exacerbate tumor hypoxia.Herein,we developed a new“valve-off”starvation tactic,which was accomplished by closing the valve of glucose transporter protein 1(GLUT1).Specifically,dihydroartemisinin(DHA),2,20-azobis[2-(2-imidazolin-2-yl)propane]dihydrochloride(AI),and Ink were co-encapsulated in a sodium alginate(ALG)hydrogel.Upon irradiation with the 1064 nm laser,AI rapidly disintegrated into alkyl radicals(R·),which exacerbated the DHA-induced mitochondrial damage through the generation of reactive oxygen species and further reduced the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate(ATP).Simultaneously,the production of R·facilitated DHA-induced starvation therapy by suppressing GLUT1,which in turn reduced glucose uptake.Systematic in vivo and in vitro results suggested that this radical-enhanced“valveoff”strategy for inducing tumor cell starvation was effective in reducing glucose uptake and ATP levels.This integrated strategy induces tumor starvation with efficient tumor suppression,creating a new avenue for controlled,precise,and concerted tumor therapy.

作为数字经济运行的重要场域,平台经济在丰富就业形态、促进新旧动能转换、拓宽市场化就业渠道等方面扮演着重要角色,但也给税收征管带来了挑战,其中以劳务所得与经营所得的区分困难最为典型。劳务所得与经营所得混淆使得同一类型的劳动收入税负不同,可能影响税收公平正义,容易诱发纳税人偷逃税款,最终导致国家税收流失。平台经济下的交易形式虽然各异,但其经济实质并未发生根本改变。分析税收法律事实需以民事法律事实为基础,实质课税原则的运用,尤其是“收入成本双原则”的提出,能为劳务所得与经营所得区分提供实践标准,有效解决相应的税收征管难题。

Efficacy of Sailuotong(塞络通)on neurovascular unit in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin-1 transgenic mice with Alzheimer's disease

OBJECTIVE:To discuss the influence of Sailuotong(塞络通,SLT)on the Neurovascular Unit(NVUs)of amyloid precursor protein(APP)/presenilin-1(PS1)mice and evaluate the role of gas supplementation in activating blood circulation during the progression of Alzheimer's disease(AD).METHODS:The mice were allocated into the following nine groups:(a)the C57 Black(C57BL)sham-operated group(control group),(b)ischaemic treatment in C57BL mice(the C57 ischaemic group),(c)the APP/PS1 sham surgery group(APP/PS1 model group),(d)ischaemic treatment in APP/PS1 mice(APP/PS1 ischaemic group),(e)C57BL mice treated with aspirin following ischaemic treatment(C57BL ischaemic+aspirin group),(f)C57BL mice treated with SLT following ischaemic treatment(C57BL ischaemic+SLT group),(g)APP/PS1 mice treated with SLT(APP/PS1+SLT group),(h)APP/PS1 mice treated with donepezil hydrochloride following ischaemic treatment(APP/PS1 ischaemic+donepezil hydrochloride group)and(i)APP/PS1 mice treated with SLT following ischaemic treatment(APP/PS1 ischaemic+SLT group).The ischaemic model was established by operating on the bilateral common carotid arteries and creating a microembolism.The Morris water maze and step-down tests were used to detect the spatial behaviour and memory ability of mice.The hippocampus of each mouse was observed by haematoxylin and eosin(HE)and Congo red staining.The ultrastructure of NVUs in each group was observed by electron microscopy,and various biochemical indicators were detected by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(EliSA).The protein expression level was detected by Western blot.The mRNA expression was detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).RESULTS:The results of the Morris water maze and step-down tests showed that ischemia reduced learning and memory in the mice,which were restored by SLT.The results of HE staining showed that SLT restored the pathological changes of the NVUs.The Congo red staining results revealed that SLT also improved the scattered orange-red sediments in the upper cortex and hip

Fibroblast growth factor 9 promotes kidney cell proliferation via WNT signaling-mediated activation of ANXA4

Fibroblast growth factors(FGFs)play pivotal roles in cell migration and proliferation.However,the identity of the FGF that plays a dominant role in kidney cell proliferation remains unclear.Therefore,in this study,we investigated the dominant FGF among all FGFs.To this end,RNA-sequencing,qRT-PCR,western blotting,and ChIP assays were performed.FGF9 showed the highest expression among all FGFs,and its overexpression significantly promoted proliferation in the mouse kidney cell line C57BL/6 and increased JNK and AKT phosphorylation levels.Further,RNA-seq analysis identified 365 upregulated and 276 downregulated genes in FGF9-overexpressed cells.These differentially expressed genes were classified primarily into 20 biological pathways and were enriched in 31 gene ontology terms.qRT-PCR revealed that the expression of WNT and NF-κB signaling genes,as well as ANXA4 expression patterns,correlated with the RNA-seq data,while FGF9-overexpressed cells accumulated moreβ-catenin,a key WNT signaling protein,compared to control cells.Moreover,downregulation of the gene that encodesβ-catenin or ANXA4 inhibited C57BL/6 cell proliferation.Additionally,the expression of ANXA4 was lower in CTNNB1-knockdown cells than in the control group.Additionally,the ChIP assay revealed that a transcription factor complex containing TCF4 andβ-catenin directly binds to the ANXA4 promoter.Taken together,these results suggest a role of FGF9 in the regulation of kidney cell migration.These findings may prove useful in the development of future therapies.

对口支援作为中国特色的府际财政应急援助机制,是突发事件下府际财政协同治理的重要实践形式。然而,“动员式协同”的府际财政应急援助实践在权责划分以及利益激励等方面还存在一些问题,亟需纳入法治化轨道。嵌入理论为府际财政应急援助提供了更优的模式选择,“嵌入式协同”的府际财政应急援助治理模式在组织形态、制度基础和动力因素方面有其优势,有利于实现纵向上政府由“主导”到“引导”的转型,横向上政府由“被动”到“主动”的转变,构建应急财政权力的新型配置格局。应当基于“结构嵌入(纵向引导与横向协作的有机结合)—规则嵌入(法律体系与互助协议的联合规制)—动力嵌入(权责划分与利益补偿的有效衔接)”的框架构建其相应机制。

Effect of Mn doping on the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 ceramics

The effects of Mn doping on the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 systems were studied using X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and a physical property measurement method.The microstructure measurements demonstrated that the substitution of Mn for Fe can cause lattice distortion,promote grain growth,and change the valence state of Fe and Mn ions.Ceramic samples with doping content x=0.00−0.03 exhibited two successive magnetic transition temperature(TN)at TN1≈14 K and TN2≈10 K.TN decreased gradually with the Mn4+content,and TN2 was not observed in the x>0.05 samples within a temperature range of T=5−300 K.Magnetic hysteresis loops revealed that only anti-ferromagnetic behavior occurred in the low-doped samples(x=0.00−0.03),and the coexistence of ferromagnetism and anti-ferromagnetism was observed in the high-doped samples(x=0.05−0.10).Besides,the x=0.10 sample had a maximum magnetization of 5.98 emu/g.This study provides basic experimental data for investigating the relationship between the microstructure and magnetic properties of CuFeO2 systems.
