In the past few decades,climatic changes led by environmental pollution,the emittance of greenhouse gases,and the emergence of brown energy utilization have led to global *** warming increases the Earth’s temperature,thereby causing severe effects on human and environmental conditions and threatening the livelihoods of millions of *** warming issues are the increase in global temperatures that lead to heat strokes and high-temperature-related diseases during the summer,causing the untimely death of thousands of *** forecast weather conditions,researchers have utilized machine learning algorithms,such as autoregressive integrated moving average,ensemble learning,and long short-term memory *** techniques have been widely used for the prediction of *** this paper,we present a swarm-based approach called Cauchy particle swarm optimization(CPsO)to find the hyperparameters of the long shortterm memory(LsTM)*** hyperparameters were determined by minimizing the LsTM validationmean square error *** optimized hyperparameters of the LsTM were used to forecast the temperature of Chennai *** proposed CPsO-LsTM model was tested on the openly available 25-year Chennai temperature *** experimental evaluation on MATLABR2020a analyzed the root mean square error rate and mean absolute error to evaluate the forecasted *** proposed CPsO-LsTM outperforms the traditional LsTM algorithm by reducing its computational time to 25 min under 200 epochs and 150 hidden neurons during *** proposed hyperparameter-based LsTM can predict the temperature accurately by having a root mean square error(RMsE)value of 0.250 compared with the traditional LsTM of 0.35 RMsE.

We performed time resolved spectroscopy of 1H0707-495 and IRAs 13224-3809 using long XMM-Newton observations. These are strongly variable narrow line seyfert 1 galaxies and show broad features around 1 keV that have been interpreted as relativistically broad Fe Lc~ lines. such features are not clearly observed in other active galactic nuclei despite sometimes having high iron abundance required by the best fitted blurred reflection models. Given the importance of these lines, we explore whether the rapid variability of spectral parameters may introduce broad bumps/dips artificially in the time averaged spectrum, which may then be mistaken as broadened lines. We tested this hypothesis by performing time resolved spectroscopy using long （〉 100 ks） XMM-Newton observations and by dividing them into segments with typical exposures of a few ks. We extracted spectra from each such segment and modeled them using a two component phenomenological model consisting of a power law to represent the hard component and a black body to represent the soft emission. As expected, both the sources showed variations in the spectral parameters. Using these variation trends, we simulated model spectra for each segment and then co-added to get a combined simulated spectrum. In the simulated spectra, we found no broad features below 1 keV and in particular no deviation near 0.9 keV as seen in the real averaged spectra. This implies that the broad Fe Lα line that is seen in the spectra of these sources is not an artifact of the variation of spectral components and, hence, provides evidence that the line is indeed genuine.

Evaluation of L-dopa,proximate composition with in vitro anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity of Mucuna macrocarpa beans:A future drug for Parkinson treatment

Objective: To investigate L-3, 4-dihydroxyphenylalanine(L-dopa, anti-Parkinson drug),anti-inflammatory activity, proximate nutritional composition and antioxidant potential of Mucuna macrocarpa(M. macrocarpa) ***: L-dopa content was determined and quantified by high performance thin layer chromatography and reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography(RPHPLC) methods. Anti-inflammatory activity was performed by in vitro protein denaturation inhibition and human red blood cell membrane stabilisation activity. Proximate composition and elemental analysis were also investigated. The antioxidant potential(2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, N-N-dimethyl-phenylenediamine and ferric-reducing antioxidant power) of M. macrocarpa beans were evaluated by using different extraction solvents. The RP-HPLC analysis also quantified significant phenolics such as gallic acid, tannic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid and p-coumaric ***: RP-HPLC quantification revealed that M. macrocarpa beans contain a high level of L-dopa [(115.41 ± 0.985) mg/g] which was the highest among the Mucuna species from Indian sub-continent. Water extract of seed powder showed strong antiinflammatory and antioxidant potential. Proximate composition of M. macrocarpa beans revealed numerous nutritional and anti-nutritional components. RP-HPLC analysis of major phenolics such as tannic acid(43.795 mg/g), gallic acid(0.864 mg/g), p-coumaric acid(0.364 mg/g) and p-hydroxybenzoic acid(0.036 mg/g) quantified successfully from M. macrocarpa beans ***: This study suggests that M. macrocarpa is a potential source of L-dopa with promising anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and nutritional benefits.

Objective:To study the comparative gastroprotective effect of Luffa acutangula methanolic extract(LAM) and aqueous extract(LAW) on typeⅡdiabetes ***:streptozotocin(65 mg/kg,Lp.) along with nicotinamide(120 mg/kg,Lp.) was used to induce non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus(NIDDM) in rats.A daily oral dose of aspirin(200 mg/kg,Lp.) was administered for initial seven days to induce gastric ulcerations in the diabetic *** and LAW were administered orally in the doses of 100,200 and 400 mg/kg once daily for 21 *** and ranitidine were used as standards for comparing the antidiabetic and antiulcer effect ***:LAM significantly(Psed mucosal glycoprotein and antioxidant enzyme level in gastric mucosa of diabetic rats than LAW(P s efficient in reversing the delayed healing of gastric ulcer in diabetic rats close to the normal *** exhibited better ulcer healing effect than glibenclamide and LAW,because of its both antihyperglycemic and mucosal defensive ***:Thus,LAM is proved to be a better alternative for treating gastric ulcers co-occurring with diabetes.

Gap acceptance theory is broadly used for evaluating unsignalized intersections in developed coun tries. Intersections with no specific priority to any move ment, known as uncontrolled intersections, are common in India. Limited priority is observed at a few intersections, where priorities are perceived by drivers based on geom etry, traffic volume, and speed on the approaches of intersection. Analyzing such intersections is complex because the overall traffic behavior is the result of drivers, vehicles, and traffic flow characteristics. Fuzzy theory has been widely used to analyze similar situations. This paper describes the application of adaptive neurofuzzy interface system （ANFIs） to the modeling of gap acceptance behavior of rightturning vehicles at limited priority Tintersections （in India, vehicles are driven on the left side of a road）. Field data are collected using video cameras at four Tintersections having limited priority. The data extracted include gap/lag, subject vehicle type, conflicting vehicle type, and driver＇s decision （accepted/rejected）. ANFIs models are developed by using 80 % of the extracted data （total data observations for major road right turning vehicles are 722 and 1,066 for minor road right turning vehicles） and remaining are used for model vali dation. Four different combinations of input variables are considered for major and minor road right turnings sepa rately. Correct prediction by ANFIs models ranges from 75.17 % to 82.16 % for major road right turning and 87.20 % to 88.62 % for minor road right turning. Themodels developed in this paper can be used in the dynamic estimation of gap acceptance in traffic simulation models.

Activator protein-1(AP-1)transcription factor is a key component of many signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of cellular processes and controls rapid responses of mammalian cells when exposed to the variety of *** phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate and Forskolin(Fo)are well-known kinase activators/stimulators of Protein Kinase C(PKC)and Protein Kinase A(PKA)***,these kinases are found to be present in transitional points of many cell signaling pathways,especially those involved in *** stimulating effect of PKC and PKA on the expression of AP-1 factors in MCF-7 breast cell proliferation is not well ***,the role of PKC by PMA treatment and the role of PKA by using Fo in MCF-7 cells is ***,cells treated with PMA showed increased cell proliferation,while Fo had no effect,but inhibited the PMA induced *** RT-PCR results showed the PMA induced c-Jun,c-Fos and Fra-1 expressions compared to control and ***,Fo in combination with PMA,inhibit the PMA induced above mRNA expressions where Fo alone has no *** blot studies validated the c-Jun expressions in PMA treated MCF-7 ***,PMA increases the mRNA expression of Cyclin-E1,Cyclin-D1,and CDK-4,whereas Fo decreases their ***,mitogenic effect of PMA and inhibitory action of Fo on MCF-7 cells is probably enhanced via activation of AP-1 factors and concomitant action of cell cycle regulators in the downstream singling cascade.

Refractometric fiber optic sensors have a number of applications in industry due to advantages like remote sensing ability, compact size, easy to fit, etc. A refractometric sensor contains a pair of parallel fibers and a gap between the sensor probe and reflector, wherein the liquid whose refractive index is to be measured is filled. This paper describes the importance of mathematical modeling of this sensor. Ray tracing approach is used to model the sensor mathematically. This mathematical model is generalized for any scenario which is useful to avoid tedious trial and error techniques to design the sensor prototype. Mathematical modelling is a useful tool to optimize the gap distance for a detection of refractive index of liquid. The model is developed and analyzed rigorously considering adulteration of diesel by kerosene where refractive index varies from 1.44 to 1.46. simulation experiments are carried out to optimize the gap distance which is found to be 6.8 mm using both models. Experiments are carried out where sensor probe is fabricated and results are analyzed. It is observed that for suggested gap distance sensor output varies almost linear over the entire range.

In present work,the vertically aligned Ni s nano-flakes composed thin film is prepared by anionic exchange process in which hydrothermally prepared Ni（OH）2is used as a parent thin film and Na2s as a sulfide ion *** synthesis process produced fully transformed and shape-controlled nano-flakes of Ni s from nano-flowers of Ni（OH）*** electrochemical supercapacitor properties of Ni s electrode are studied with cyclic voltammetry（CV）,galvonostatic charge discharge（GCD）and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIs）*** porous surface area（85 m^2/g）of Ni s nano-flakes makes large material contribution in electrochemical reaction stretching specific capacitance（Cs）of 880 F/g at scan rate of 5 m V/s and 90%electrochemical stability up to 4000 CV cycles in 2 M KOH ***,the flexible solid-state symmetric supercapacitor device（Ni s/PVA–Li ClO4/Ni s）has been fabricated using Ni s electrodes with polyvinyl alcohol（PVA）–lithium perchlorate（Li ClO4）gel *** Ni s/PVA–Li ClO4/Ni s device exhibits specific capacitance of 56 F/g with specific energy of 14.98 Wh/kg and excellent cycling stability after 2000 *** addition,the Ni s/PVA–Li ClO4/Ni s device demonstrates illumination of red light emitting diode（LED）for 60 s,which confirms the practical applicability of Ni s/PVA–Li ClO4/Ni s device in energy storage.

Fiber optic displacement sensors are widely used in industry. Retro reflective fiber optic displacement sensor consists of parallel fibers with a reflector at a distance. Light is launched into the transmitting fiber which gets reflected by reflector. This reflected light is collected by the receiving fiber. The received light is function of the displacement of the reflector from the fiber end faces. This paper is targeted to obtain a robust design for the fiber optic displacement sensor (FODs) using well known Taguchi method. The design takes care of all noise parameters within constraints of manufacturing tolerances. The statistical data analysis is performed on the simulated results. The larger the better signal to noise quality characteristics is used to find the effect of control parameters in the data analysis. Taguchi analysis suggests dominant parameters, which affects the sensitivity of the FODs and causes immunity to noise. A source fiber inclination angle is chosen as an adjustment parameter. Other control parameters are used for fine tuning of the FODs design for achieving three qualities viz. best robustness, optimized sensitivity and robustness and best sensitivity.
