Objective:To evaluate morphine's risk-benefit profile in the treatment of acute heart ***:Different electronic databases,including PubMed,MEDLINE,Cochrane Library,and Google scholar,as well as ***,were searched for articles published between 2012 and *** risk of bias in the present study was evaluated by employing randomized controlled trials(RCTs)checklist that assesses the effectiveness of new interventions through random assignment of participants to different treatment *** two-part tool was used to address the five specific domains such as selection bias,performance bias,detection bias,attrition bias,and selective reporting *** of the quality of diagnostic accuracy studies was conducted using the RevMan software(version 5.4),a quality assessment ***:A total of 13 studies were included in the present review,in which there were 5 retrospective studies,3 randomized-control studies,2 prospective studies,1 multicenter pharmacodynamics study,1 multicenter cardiac magnetic resonance imaging study,and 1 open-label,cross-over *** mortality of acute heart failure patients treated with morphine was higher compared to those without ***:Acute heart failure patients who do not receive morphine have a lower mortality rate compared to those who receive *** the adverse effects,including mortality associated with morphine,there is a pressing need for further research to explore alternative and effective treatment options in acute heart failure.

Objective:To isolate and characterize antidiabetic component（bioactivity-guided fractionation） from hydro alcoholic extract of Ocimum sanctum（***） aerial ***:Ten fractions（F1 - F10） were isolated from hydro alcoholic extract of *** aerial part by column *** the fractions Fl to F10 were screened for antidiabetic activity in alloxan induced diabetic rats by estimating serum glucose level and lipid *** isolated bioactive component was elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic(UV,IR,Ms,sup>1sup>H and sup>13sup>C NMR) data ***:The bioactive fraction（F5） was found to be potent antidiabetic by ameliorating glucose and lipid parameters（total cholesterol,triglycerides,low and high density lipoprotein cholesterol）.The extensive spectroscopic data analysis reveals that,the isolated bioactive compound elucidated as tetracyclic triterpenoid[16-Hydroxy-4,4,10,13-tetramethyl- 17-（4-methyI-pentyl）-hexadecahydro-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one].Conclusions:Our present study concluded that,tetracyclic triterpenoid isolated from aerial part of *** has a great anti-diabetic potential.

In this paper, a new approach for key frame extraction for sports video summarization is presented. Our approach employs dominant value of shot volume and energy. For the dominant value of each shot audio energy corresponding video key frame is extracted. This key frame of each shot serves as accurate localization of the events on the field. This is applied to cricket, soccer and lawn tennis videos and the experimental results show our proposed method is promising.

Introduction: Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) is widely recognized as effective in significantly reducing the risk of recurrent stroke emanating from extracranial carotid atherosclerosis and approximately 140,000 carotid endarterectomies are performed annually in the United states (Us). As such, data are scarce on the prevalence and clinical outcomes of CEA across different age groups. This study aimed to determine and analyze the prevalence, demographic and clinical outcomes of CEA across six decades of life. Methods: Data on 40,276,240 patients were abstracted from discharge data obtained from the Nationwide Inpatient sample (NIs) database, a part of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (2004-2008). Demographic and clinical characteristics of patients undergoing CEA as the primary procedure were abstracted including age, gender, elective or non-elective admission, comorbidities, Length of stay (LOs), secondary procedures, NIs severity of illness and risk of mortality class, complications and mortality. CEA outcomes were compared across six decades of life starting at age 41. Categorical variables were compared using the Chi-square test, and the student’s t-test was used to compare continuous variables. Results: 118,947 patients who underwent CEA as their primary procedure were identified. Caucasians accounted for 67.1% of the population. The overall mean age was 71.2 ± 9.5 years, with a Male: Female ratio of 1.3:1. Nineteen percent of patients had non-elective admission, with the highest percentage (29.5%) in those >91 years old. Over three percent of patients had a prior stroke. The overall number of CEA performed peaked in the 8th decade of life (38.4%). The most common co-morbidities were hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and chronic pulmonary disease. Mean LOs was 3.3 days. AIM： To investigate the active chloroform fraction of the ethanol extract oflpomoea carnea flowers on hematological changes in toluene diisocyanate-induced inflammation in Wistar rats. METHOD： Except for the control group, all of the rats were sensitized with intranasal application of 5 μL of 10% toluene diiso- cyanate （TDI） for 7 days. One week after second sensitization, all of the rats were provoked with 5 ~tL of 5% TDI to induce airway hypersensitivity. After the last challenge, blood and bronchoalvelor lavage （BAL） fluid were collected and subjected to total and differential leucocytes count. Flash chromatography was performed on the most active chloroform fraction to isolate an individual component. REsULTs： Treatment with the ethanolic extract and its chloroform fraction at an oral dose of 200 mg·kg^ -1 showed a significant decrease in circulating neutrophil and eosinophil in blood and BAL as compared with standard dexamethasone （DEXA）. The structure of the compound obtained from chloroform fraction oflpomea carnea was elucidated as stigmast-5, 22-dien-3β-ol on the basis of spectral data analysis. CONCLUsION： The chloroform fraction was found to be more effective to suppress airway hyper reactivity symptoms, and de- creased count of both total and differential inflammatory cells.

In recent years, Jatropha curcas L. has gained popularity as a potential biodiesel plant. The varying oil content, reported between accessions belonging to different agroclimatic zones, has necessitated the assessment of the existing genetic variability to generate reliable molecular markers for selection of high oil yielding variety. EsT derived ssR markers are more useful than genomic markers as they represent the transcriptome, thus, directly linked to functional genes. The present report describes the in silico mining of the microsatellites (ssRs) using J. curcas EsTs from various tissues viz. embryo, root, leaf and seed available in the public domain of NCBI. A total of 13,513 EsTs were downloaded. From these EsTs, 7552 unigenes were obtained and 395 ssRs were generated from 377 ssR-EsTs. These EsT-ssRs can be used as potential microsatellite markers for diversity analysis, MAs etc. since the Jatropha genes carrying ssRs have been identified in this study, thus, EsT-ssRs directly linked to genes will be useful for developing trait linked markers.

Diffusion Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DW-MRI) has become an established part of neuroimaging and is used to diagnose and characterize several neurologic disorders. Intracerebral Haemorrhage (ICH) is a severe medical condition, which may develop quickly into a life-threatening situation, and thereby requires prompt medical attention. Early and reliable identification of the age of haemorrhage is essential when choosing the correct treatment, and estimating patient’s diagnosis and outcome. Diffusion Weighted (DW) images presents a variation in the image signal intensity characteristics relative to the different stages of ICH. In the present paper, an effort is made to document the variation in the image signal intensity characteristics of ICH at evolving stages, for 30 subjects, using High Frequency Power (HFP) parameter. Results showed that the difference in the HFP values on DW images for the subjects with ICH com- pared to their contralateral normal hemisphere, were highly significant (p 14 days). There was a negative correlation (r = ?0.81) observed between the RHFP values and the evolving stages of ICH. The results indicate that the quantitative changes in the RHFP values can be assessed to derive information about the stage of ICH, and their adoption in clinical diagnosis and treatment could be helpful and informative.
