BACKGROUND Branches of the lateral circumflex femoral artery(LCFA) stretch across the surgical field during a direct anterior total hip arthroplasty. It is an anatomical marker in direct anterior approach. As an important vessel around the hip joint,this vessel was ligated in most situations. Although ligation of the vascular pedicle of the LCFA is a common, traditional procedure used to decrease bleeding, the ligation of the pedicle of the vessel is tedious and *** To explore whether this ligation is truly necessary in a direct anterior approach to total hip *** This single-center, single-surgeon, prospective study was performed to compare patients' bleeding undergoing ligation of the branches of the LCFA pedicle(group A) vs those treated with electrocautery from the branches of the LCFA(group B). In both groups, the pedicles were identified in the intermuscular plane between the tensor fasciae lata and the rectus femoris muscles. In group A, the pedicles were ligated with a silk ligature. In group B, the branches coming off the LCFA were controlled with electrocautery. We compared preoperative vs postoperative changes in blood hemoglobin levels, intraoperative blood loss,operative time, rates of transfusion, re-bleeding, and hematoma between the two *** The reduction of hemoglobin in group A was 20.9 ± 7.0, and in group B it was 21.2 ± 4.9. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05). The actual calculated blood loss in group A was 784 ± 125 mL,and in group B it was 722 ± 153 mL. There was a trend in group A having more blood loss(P = 0.078). The estimated blood loss in group A was 344 ± 88 mL, and in group B it was 346 ± 73 mL. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P = 0.883). The research of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in the field of liver diseases has received more and more *** paper introduces the current situation,hot spots,and development trends in this ***-hensive searches were conducted using Web of Science Core Collection from January 1,2000 to December 13,2021 with the following keywords:TS(topic)¼(liver*OR hepatic*OR hepatocyte)AND TS(topic)¼(Mesen-chymal stem cell*).VOSviewer(version 1.6.16)and CiteSpace V are used as bibliometric tools to analyze and visualize the knowledge graph.A total of 4452 papers were included in this study,and the number of research papers on MSCs in the field of liver diseases increased from January 2000 to December ***-four countries and regions have published articles on research in this field,among which China and the United States are the main two countries of *** on the keyword burst detection,we find that the research in this field has shifted from basic research to clinical application,from medical research to interdisciplinary *** engineering and regenerative medicine are the frontier fields of MSCs research in liver ***,multi-author cooperation,and multi-disciplinary intersection are the research trends in this *** body,obesity,and tissue engineering are the hotspots in this field.

针对液压支架拉架过程的安全阀开启问题,在分析推移机构工况的基础上,结合元件实际的结构尺寸,基于AMESim建立拉架工况的仿真模型,分析了推移机构出现安全阀开启的根本原因,并给出了有效的解决措施。分析结果表明:由于推拉杆与刮板输送机之间的空行程间隙,拉架过程包括活塞杆空行程和缸筒拉架2种工况;液控单向阀控制活塞腔阻尼孔的缓冲作用会导致拉架空行程阶段推移千斤顶有杆腔的增压效应,进而导致安全阀开启;增大控制活塞阻尼孔直径可以有效降低控制压力的延迟效应,保证液控单向阀的快速反向开启,进而降低推移千斤顶的增压压力,避免拉架工况时的安全阀开启。

Reduction process and zinc removal from composite briquettes composed of dust and sludge from a steel enterprise

In this study, composite briquettes were prepared using gravity dust and converter sludge as the main materials; these briquettes were subsequently reduced in a tube furnace at 1000-1300℃ for 5-30 min under a nitrogen atmosphere. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, and carbon content on the metallization and dezincification ratios of the composite briquettes were studied. The reduced com- posite briquettes were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and energy-dispersive spectroscopy （EDS）. The results show that the gravity dust and converter sludge are combined into the composite briquettes and a reasonable combination not only improves the performance of the composite briquettes, but also leads to the reduction with no or little reductant and flux. As the re- action temperature is increased and the reaction time is extended, the metallization and dezincification ratios of the composite briquettes in- crease gradually. When the composite briquettes are roasted at 1300℃ for 30 rain, the metallization ratio and dezineification ratio reaches 91.35% and 99.25%, respectively, indicating that most of the iron oxide is reduced and the zinc is almost completely removed. The carbon content is observed to exert a lesser effect on the reduction process; as the C/O molar ratio increases, the metallization and dezincification ra- tios first increase and then decrease.

A novel portable analyzer for raw milk quality control during the material purchase at dairy plants was developed, by which the percentages（mass fraction） of main components including total protein, fat, and lactose of an unhomogenized milk sample could be determinated in 1 min with the help of non-dispersive short-wave near-infrared （NDSWNIR） spectrometry in a wavelength range from 600 nm to 1100 nm and multivariate calibration. The analyzer was designed with a single-beam optical system, which comprised a temperature control module, a multi-channel narrow-band light source（16 wavelengths）, a glass absorption cell with 15 mm sample thickness, a silicon photodiode detector, several compound lenses and a recorder module. A total of 80 raw milk samples were collected at a dairy farm twice a month for 4 months. The samples were scanned with a common UV-Vis-NIR spectrometer and analyzed according to China GB standard methods. The uninformative variables elimination（UVE） method was carried out on the spectrum data and the percentages of main components of all the samples to choose the peak emitting wavelength of each channel of the light source. Another 90 raw milk samples were collected from the same dairy farm thrice a month for 3 months. The samples were analyzed according to China GB standard methods and with the proposed analyzer. The percentages of the main components and the NDSWNIR absorption data of the samples were used for the construction and validation of the multivariate calibration model with partial least squares（PLS） method. The root-mean-square errors of prediction（RMSEP） of total protein, fat and lactose were 0.201, 0.172 and 0.247 and the coefficients of correlation（R） were 0.932, 0.981 and 0.933, respectively.

BACKGROUND Intertrochanteric fracture (ITF) is a common type of injury, and nearly 30% of ITF patients die in the first 12 mo, especially the elderly with limited activity. Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been widely used in reducing traumatic and surgical bleeding, however, the paucity of studies regarding its use in orthopedic trauma surgery has limited its integration into this field, which may benefit most from TXA. The safety of TXA in this group has not achieved a consensus. AIM This meta-analysis was designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of TXA in elderly ITF patients undergoing surgery. METHODS Databases, including Medline and PubMed, were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that were published before October 2018 and that addressed the efficacy and safety of TXA in patients who underwent ITF surgery. The Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials 2010 Statement Checklist was used to assess the methodological quality of each study. Trials without and with heterogeneity were compared by fixed-effects analysis and random-effects analysis, respectively. For each study, odds ratio (OR) and 95%CI and mean differences and 95%CI were calculated for dichotomous and continuous outcomes, respectively. The Power and Sample Size Program software was used to calculate power and sample size. Stability of the results was assessed via sensitivity analysis. RESULTS A total of 836 patients from eight RCTs were subjected to meta-analysis. TXA treatment compared with the control group significantly reduced postoperative blood loss (95%CI,-20.83 to -7.93 mL, P < 0.0001), hidden blood loss (95%CI,- 213.67 to -64.43 mL, P = 0.0003), and total blood loss (95%CI,-332.49 to -23.18 mL, P = 0.02) by weighted mean differences of -14.38,-139.05, and -177.83 mL, respectively. However, no significant difference was observed between groups for analysis of intraoperative blood loss.
