To better understand the effects of plastic film mulching on soil greenhouse gases（GHGs） emissions,we compared seasonal and vertical variations of GHG concentrations at seven soil depths in maize（Zea mays L.） fields at Changwu station in Shaanxi,a semi-humid region,between 2012 and *** samples were taken simultaneously every one week from non-mulched（BP） and plastic film-mulched（FM） field *** results showed that the concentration of GHGs varied distinctly at the soil-atmosphere interface and in the soil profile during the maize growing season（MS）.Both carbon dioxide（CO_2） and nitrous oxide（N_2O） concentrations increased with increasement of soil depth,while the methane（CH_4）concentrations decreased with increasement of soil depth.A strong seasonal variation pattern was found for CO_2 and N_2O concentrations,as compared to an inconspicuous seasonal variation of CH_4 *** mean CO_2 and N_2O concentrations were higher,but the mean CH_4 concentration in the soil profiles was lower in the FM plots than in the BP *** results of this study suggested that plastic film mulching significantly increased the potential emissions of CO_2and N_2O from the soil,and promoted CH_4 absorption by the soil,particularly during the MS.

The dynamics of measurement's uncertainty via entropy for a one-dimensional Heisenberg XYZ mode is examined in the presence of an inhomogeneous magnetic field and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction. It shows that the uncertainty of interest is intensively in connection with the filed's temperature, the direction-oriented coupling strengths and the magnetic field. It turns out that the stronger coupling strengths and the smaller magnetic field would induce the smaller measurement's uncertainty of interest within the current spin model. Interestingly, we reveal that the evolution of the uncertainty exhibits quite different dynamical behaviors in antiferromagnetic (Ji> 0) and ferromagnetic (Ji< 0) frames. Besides, an analytical solution related to the systematic entanglement (i.e., concurrence) is also derived in such a scenario. Furthermore, it is found that the DM-interaction is desirably working to diminish the magnitude of the measurement's uncertainty in the region of high-temperature. Finally, we remarkably offer a result ful strategy to govern the ent ropy-based uncertainty through utilizing quantum weak measurements, being of fundamentally importance to quantum measurement estimation in the context of solid-state-based quantum information processing and comp ut at ion.

BACKGROUND Intertrochanteric fracture (ITF) is a common type of injury, and nearly 30% of ITF patients die in the first 12 mo, especially the elderly with limited activity. Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been widely used in reducing traumatic and surgical bleeding, however, the paucity of studies regarding its use in orthopedic trauma surgery has limited its integration into this field, which may benefit most from TXA. The safety of TXA in this group has not achieved a consensus. AIM This meta-analysis was designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of TXA in elderly ITF patients undergoing surgery. METHODS Databases, including Medline and PubMed, were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that were published before October 2018 and that addressed the efficacy and safety of TXA in patients who underwent ITF surgery. The Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials 2010 Statement Checklist was used to assess the methodological quality of each study. Trials without and with heterogeneity were compared by fixed-effects analysis and random-effects analysis, respectively. For each study, odds ratio (OR) and 95%CI and mean differences and 95%CI were calculated for dichotomous and continuous outcomes, respectively. The Power and Sample Size Program software was used to calculate power and sample size. Stability of the results was assessed via sensitivity analysis. RESULTS A total of 836 patients from eight RCTs were subjected to meta-analysis. TXA treatment compared with the control group significantly reduced postoperative blood loss (95%CI,-20.83 to -7.93 mL, P weighted mean differences of -14.38,-139.05, and -177.83 mL, respectively. However, no significant difference was observed between groups for analysis of intraoperative blood loss. In this paper, the South China coastal area is divided into several fault block areas (first class), sub-areas (second class) and mini-areas (third class) based on their dynamic signs, heridity, uniformity, paricu-larity and the mode of action of tectonic stress. Their tectonic geomorphological features are elaborated and the amplitude as well as the rate of relative motion since the end of the late Pleistocene epoch are estimated from 14C data of the samples which fundamentally represent the sea level in different periods. It is found that the value of amplitude and rate of fault block movement, tend to become smaller from the east and west towards the middle. This feature could be related to the "screen" effect of the Taiwan -Penghu-Quanzhou-Shantou strong earthquake area and the Leizhou-Qiongya earthquake area.
