Impact of geo technical factors on strata behavior in longwall panels of Godavari Valley coal field-a case study

Understanding the cantilevers formed by thick, massive beds in the near-seam overburden above longwall panels and the associated loads and strata fracturing effects developed during caving(main and periodic weightings) are key elements for the successful implementation of longwalls. Such caving mechanisms rely on the geotechnical conditions within the panel. In India, the majority of longwall downtime and/or roof failures were caused by a lack of knowledge on overburden caveability, in particular when the main and periodic weightings will impact the face and longwall support selection to effectively mitigate such weightings. Godavari Valley Coal Fields is no exception as longwall faces were adversely affected due to the presence of thick, massive beds in the near-seam overburden at both Godavarikhani(GDK) 7 and 9 Incline mines. In contrast, overburden weightings were negotiated successfully in GDK10 A and Adriyala Longwall Project(ALP) mines by detailed geotechnical studies, the use of adequate longwall support capacities, and effective operational practices. Thirteen longwall panels with varying face width, at different depths have been extracted under massive sandstone beds of 18 m to28 m thickness at GDK 10 A and ALP mines. This study elucidates that the main roof weighting interval decreases with an increase in face width and attains a constant value with further increases in face width under the same geo-mining conditions. In addition, this study also concludes that with increases in face width, the periodic roof weighting interval decreases and shield loads increase. Similarly with increasing panel width to depth ratio, the main and periodic roof weighting intervals decrease but shield loads again increase. Lastly, the strata behaviour of the longwall face retreated along up-dip direction is demonstrated. We demonstrate an easy and scalable low-temperature process to convert porous ternary complex metal oxide nanoparticles from solution-synthesized core^shell metal oxide nanopartides by thermal annealing. The final products demonstrate superior electrochemical properties with a large capacity and high stability during fast charging/discharging cycles for potential applications as advanced lithium-ion battery （LIB） electrode materials. In addition, a new breakdown mechanism was observed on these novel electrode materials.

Capnodium berberidis,a sooty mould fungus,previously reported only from Pakistan in 1978,was recently observed on Berberis lycium in Jot Pass,district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh,*** lycium is a well-known small to medium sized spiny,woody,deciduous or evergreen medicinal and ornamental plant distributed throughout temperate and subtropical regions of the *** symptoms appeared as thin,black to dark brown,easily removed superficial layer of hyphae on various parts of host plant including leaves,stem,twigs and *** detailed studies on its morphology and taxonomy revealed it a sooty mould fungus Capnodium *** per literature consulted,this is the first report of Capnodium berberidis from India and probably second from world.

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety outcomes of different antileishmanial agents used in visceral leishmaniasis clinical ***:A systematic literature search in PubMed/MEDLINE,EMBASE,Cochrane,and Google Scholar was done using keywords“randomized controlled trials”,“antileishmanial”and“visceral leishmaniasis”.The outcomes included were cure rate,overall withdrawals,relapse rate,and treatment-emergent adverse *** estimates through the frequentist network meta-analysis approach were presented as OR with 95%*** plots were used for identifying the“best intervention”based on p-scores obtained using the surface under the cumulative *** risk of bias was evaluated by using Pedro ***:Seventeen randomized controlled trials with 5143 visceral leishmaniasis patients who received different antileishmanial agents(amphotericin B,miltefosine,paromomycin,meglumine antimoniate,sodium stibogluconate,sitamaquine,and pentavalent antimonials)and met the inclusion criteria were *** efficacy outcomes of the treatments,the rankogram of the network meta-analysis revealed that paromomycin(p-score=0.8148)has the highest probability of being best in the pool,followed by sodium stibogluconate(OR 0.82,95%CI 0.24-2.79,p-score=0.7580),amphotericin B+miltefosine(OR 0.66,95%CI 0.02-19.04,p-score=0.7329)as compared to the remaining treatments;however,the most of the treatment-emergent adverse events were reported with ***:Paromomycin reported the highest cure rates,while the maximum treatment-emergent adverse events were seen with sitamaquine.

This paper presents a new recursive method for system analysis via double-term triangular functions （DTTF） in state space environment. The proposed method uses orthogonal triangular function sets and proves to be more accurate as compared to single term Walsh series （STWS） method with respect to mean integral square error （MISE）. This has been established theoretically and comparison of error with respect to MISE is presented for clarity. A numerical example is treated to establish the proposed method. Relevant curves for the solutions of states of the dynamic system are also presented with plots of percentage error for DTTF-based analysis.

BACKGROUND:The number of lay people willing to attempt cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)in real life is increased by effective education in basic life support(BLS).However,little is known about access of general public to BLS training across the *** study aimed to investigate availability and key features of BLS courses proposed for lay people in India,Nigeria and the United Kingdom(UK).METHODS:A Google search was done in December 2018,using English keywords relevant for community resuscitation *** courses addressing BLS and suitable for any adult layperson were included in the ***-site training courses were limited to those provided within the country's ***:A total of 53,29 and 208 eligible courses were found for India,Nigeria and the UK,*** the UK,the number of courses per 10 million population(31.5)is 79 and 21 times higher than that in India(0.4)and Nigeria(1.5).Course geography is limited to 28%states and one union territory in India,30%states and the Federal Capital Territory in *** the UK,the training is offered in all constituent countries,with the highest prevalence in *** are predominantly classroom-based,highly variable in duration,group size and instructors'*** India and Nigeria,mean cost of participation is exceeding the monthly minimum ***:In contrast to the UK,the availability and accessibility of BLS courses are critically limited in India and Nigeria,necessitating immediate interventions to optimize community CPR training and improve bystander CPR rates.

Searchable Encryption(SE)enables data owners to search remotely stored ciphertexts selectively.A practical model that is closest to real life should be able to handle search queries with multiple keywords and multiple data owners/users,and even return the top-k most relevant search results when *** refer to a model that satisfies all of the conditions a 3-multi ranked search ***,SE schemes that have been proposed to date use fully trusted trapdoor generation centers,and several methods assume a secure connection between the data users and a trapdoor generation *** is,they assume the trapdoor generation center is the only entity that can learn the information regarding queried keywords,but it will never attempt to use it in any other manner than that requested,which is impractical in real *** this study,to enhance the security,we propose a new 3-multi ranked SE scheme that satisfies all conditions without these security *** proposed scheme uses randomized keywords to protect the interested keywords of users from both outside adversaries and the honest-but-curious trapdoor generation center,thereby preventing attackers from determining whether two different queries include the same ***,we develop a method for managing multiple encrypted keywords from every data owner,each encrypted with a different *** evaluation demonstrates that,despite the trade-off overhead that results from the weaker security assumption,the proposed scheme achieves reasonable performance compared to extant schemes,which implies that our scheme is practical and closest to real life.

Malignant hematopoietic cells gain metabolic plasticity, reorganize anabolic mechanisms to improve anabolic output and prevent oxidative damage, and bypass cell cycle checkpoints, eventually outcompeting normal hematopoietic cells. Current therapeutic strategies of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) are based on prognostic stratification that includes mutation profile as the closest surrogate to disease biology. Clinical efficacy of targeted therapies, e.g., agents targeting mutant FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) and isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 or 2, are mostly limited to the presence of relevant mutations. Recent studies have not only demonstrated that specific mutations in AML create metabolic vulnerabilities but also highlighted the efficacy of targeting metabolic vulnerabilities in combination with inhibitors of these mutations. Therefore, delineating the functional relationships between genetic stratification, metabolic dependencies, and response to specific inhibitors of these vulnerabilities is crucial for identifying more effective therapeutic regimens, understanding resistance mechanisms, and identifying early response markers, ultimately improving the likelihood of cure. In addition, metabolic changes occurring in the tumor microenvironment have also been reported as therapeutic targets. The metabolic profiles of leukemia stem cells (LSCs) differ, and relapsed/refractory LSCs switch to alternative metabolic pathways, fueling oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), rendering them therapeutically resistant. In this review, we discuss the role of cancer metabolic pathways that contribute to the metabolic plasticity of AML and confer resistance to standard therapy;we also highlight the latest promising developments in the field in translating these important findings to the clinic and discuss the tumor microenvironment that supports metabolic plasticity and interplay with AML cells.
