This paper presents an investigation into the effect of surface asperities on the over-rolling of bearing surfaces in transient elastohydrodynam.c lubrication(EHL) line contact. The governing equations are discretized by the finite difference m.thod. The resulting nonlinear system.of algebraic equations is solved by the Jacobian-free Newtongeneralized m.nim.l residual(Gm.ES) from.the Krylov subspace m.thod(KSm.. The acceleration of the Gm.ES iteration is accom.lished by a wavelet-based *** profiles of the lubricant pressure and film.thickness are obtained at each tim. step when the indented surface m.ves through the contact region. The prediction of pressure as a function of tim. provides an insight into the understanding of fatigue life of *** analysis confirm. the need for the tim.-dependent approach of EHL problem. with surface asperities. This m.thod requires less storage and yields an accurate solution with m.ch coarser grids. It is stable, efficient, allows a larger tim. step, and covers a wide range of param.ters of interest.

In this paper, we present the construction of purely algebraic Daubechies wavelet based preconditioners for Krylov subspace iterative m.thods to solve linear sparse system.of equations. Effective preconditioners are designed with DWTPerm.d algorithm.by knowing size of the m.trix and the order of Daubechies wavelet. A notable feature of this algorithm.is that it enables wavelet level to be chosen autom.tically m.king it m.re robust than other wavelet based preconditioners and avoids user choosing a level of transform. We dem.nstrate the efficiency of these preconditioners by applying them.to several m.trices from.Tim.Davis collection of sparse m.trices for restarted Gm.ES.

Third order nonlinear ordinary differential equation, subject to appropriate boundary conditions, arising in fluid m.chanics is solved exactly using m.re suggestive schem.s- Dirichlet series and m.thod of stretching variables. These m.thods have advantages over pure num.rical m.thods in obtaining derived quantities accurately for various values of the param.ters involved at a stretch and are valid in a m.ch larger dom.in com.ared with classical num.rical schem.s.

In this paper,the detailed analysis of the influence of therm.l and non-Newtonian aspects of lubricant(couple stress fluid)on EHL line contact as a function of slide-roll ratio is *** novel low com.lexity FAS(full approxim.tion schem.),of the m.ltigrid schem.,with Jacobi dipole and Gauss Seidel relaxation is used for the solution of coupled equations *** Reynolds equation,film.thickness equation and energy equation satisfying appropriate boundary *** analysis reveals the com.ined influence of non-Newtonian,therm.l and slide-roll ratio(of bearing m.ving with different speeds)on pressure,film.thickness and pressure spike covering a wide range of physical param.ters of *** show that pressure spike is strongly influenced by therm.l,slide-roll ratio and non-Newtonian character of lubricant with negligible effect on the overall pressure ***,the m.nim.m.film.thickness is slightly altered and it increases with the increase in the couple stress *** findings confirm.the im.ortance of non-Newtonian and therm.l effects in the study of EHL.

Objective:To evaluate the potential prophylactic activity of traditional polyherbal rem.dy against ***:A traditional polyherbal rem.dy against m.laria from.Odisha,India was evaluated for its potential prophylactic activity using in vitro hepatic cell lines assay and the m.rine m.laria system.Plasm.dium.yoelii yoelii/Anopheles ***:The polyherbal extract inhibited the Plasm.dium.yoelii hepatic stages in vitro(IC500.74 m./m.L),a therapeutic index of *** m.ce treated with the aqueous extract(2 000 m./kg/day),peak parasitaem.a values were 81%lower in the experim.ntal2.35%±0.14%as com.ared to controls 12.62%±0.52%(Pm.laria prophylactic rem.dy used by tribal populations in India.
