BACKGROUND Prediabetes is a well-established risk factor for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events(mACCE).However,the relationship between prediabetes and mACCE in atrial fibrillation(AF)patients has not been extensively ***,this study aimed to establish a link between prediabetes and mACCE in AF *** To investigate a link between prediabetes and mACCE in AF *** We used the National Inpatient Sample(2019)and relevant ICD-10 Cm codes to identify hospitalizations with AF and categorized them into groups with and without prediabetes,excluding *** primary outcome was mACCE(all-cause inpatient mortality,cardiac arrest including ventricular fibrillation,and stroke)in AF-related *** Of the 2965875 AF-related hospitalizations for mACCE,47505(1.6%)were among patients with *** prediabetes cohort was relatively younger(median 75 vs 78 years),and often consisted of males(56.3%vs 51.4%),blacks(9.8%vs 7.9%),Hispanics(7.3%vs 4.3%),and Asians(4.7%vs 1.6%)than the non-prediabetic cohort(Pmia,smoking,obesity,drug abuse,prior myocardial infarction,peripheral vascular disease,and hyperthyroidism(all Pmore frequently required home health care(23.6%vs 21.0%)and had higher *** adjusting for baseline characteristics or comorbidities,the prediabetes cohort with AF admissions showed a higher rate and significantly higher odds of mACCE compared to the non-prediabetic cohort[18.6%vs 14.7%,odds ratio(OR)1.34,95%confidence interval 1.26-1.42,Pmales had a stronger association(aOR 1.43)compared to females(aOR 1.22),whereas on the race-wise comparison,Hispanics(aOR 1.43)and Asians(aOR 1.36)had a stronger association with mACCE with prediabetes vs whites(aOR 1.33)and blacks(aOR 1.21).CONCLUSION This population-

Nitrogen removal is a critical process in water treatment plants(WIPs)and wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).The recent discovery of a novel bacterial process,complete ammonia oxidation(comammox,CmX),has refuted a century-long perception of the two-step conversion of NH3to NO3-.Compared with canonical nitrifiers,CmX bacteria offer undeniable advantages,such as a high growth yield propensity and adaptability to nutrient-and growth-limiting conditions,which collectively draw attention to validate the aptness of CmX bacteria to wastewater *** there has been no comprehensive review on the relevance of CmX bacteria for sustainable water and wastewater treatment,this review is intended to discuss the roles and applications of CmX in the removal of nitrogen and pollutants from water and *** took into account insights into the metabolic versatilities of CmX bacteria at the clade and subclade *** focused on the distribution of CmX bacteria in engineered systems,niche differentiation,co-occurrence and interactions with cano nical nitrifiers for a better understanding of CmX bacteria in terms of their *** details on the reactor adaptability and stress response of CmX bacteria are *** potential of CmX bacteria to degrade micropollutants either directly or co-metabolically was evaluated,and these insights would be an indispensable advantage in opening the doors for wider applications of CmX bacteria in ***,we summarized future directions of research that are imperative in improving the understanding of CmX biology.

研究和优化不同工艺条件下硫酸(3.0~5.5 mol/L)浸出回收Ni和Al的工艺。浸出实验表明,在H_(2)SO_(4)浓度5.5 mol/L、反应时间4 h、固液比0.2 g/mL、温度358 K、粒径m、搅拌速度200~250 r/min、催化剂用量5.0 g的条件下,可提取98.5%的NiO和40.7%的Al_(2)O_(3)。浸出液中的Al用1.4 mol/L KOH选择性结晶分离,Ni用0.3 mol/L H_(2)C_(2)O_(4)选择性沉淀分离。此法可回收约97.9%的NiO,纯度达98.3%;约25%的Al_(2)O_(3)以明矾(纯度为99%)形式回收,14.7%的Al_(2)O_(3)以Al-K-C_(2)O_(4)-SO_(4)盐的形式回收。研究结果表明,硫酸是一种合适的选择性浸出溶剂,而且可以从硫酸盐溶液中选择性结晶出明矾。TG-DTA/DTG和XRD表征研究证明,本工艺可以有效地提取和回收镍和铝。

Experimental and Numerical Study of Penguin mode Flapping Foil Propulsion System for Ships

The use of biomimetic tandem flapping foils for ships and underwater vehicles is considered as a unique and interesting concept in the area of marine propulsion. The flapping wings can be used as a thrust producing, stabilizer and control devices which has both propulsion and maneuvering applications for marine vehicles. In the present study, the hydrodynamic per- formance of a pair of flexible flapping foils resembling penguin flippers is studied. A ship model of 3 m in length is fitted with a pair of counter flapping foils at its bottom mid-ship region. model tests are carried out in a towing tank to estimate the propulsive performance of flapping foils in bollard and self propulsion modes. The same tests are performed in a numerical environment using a Computational Fluid Dynamics （CFD） software. The numerical and experimental results show reasonably good agreement in both bollard pull and self propulsion trials. The numerical studies are carried out on flexible flapping hydrofoil in unsteady conditions using moving unstructured grids. The efficiency and force coefficients of the flexible flapping foils are determined and presented as a function of Strouhal number.

管道爆裂或破裂导致的泄漏可能对生态环境造成很大影响,并严重影响管道运营公司的声誉。近年来,管道运营商有望为油气管道配备泄漏检测系统,用于监测管道运行情况并检测管道是否发生泄漏。目前,已实现商业应用的泄漏监测方法很多,虽然这些方法无法防止泄漏发生,但对控制泄漏及其造成的影响具有至关重要的作用。对当前主流油气管道泄漏检测方法的设计原理及应用进行了综述,分析评价了各种方法的特点及局限性,并对进一步提高管道泄漏检测技术的精确度、可靠性及适用性提出建议。
