Based on quasipotential analysis, a plasma sheath is studied through the derivation of the Sagdeev potential equation in dusty plasma coexisting with adiabatically heated electrons and ions. Salient features as to the existence of sheaths are shown by solving the Sagdeev potential equation through the Runge–Kutta method, with appropriate consideration of adiabatically heated electrons and ions in the dynamical system. It has been shown that adiabatic heating of plasma sets a limit to the critical dust speed depending on the densities and mach number, and it is believed that its role is very important to the sheath. One present problem is the contraction of the sheath region whereby dust grains levitated into the sheath lead to a crystallization similar to the formation of nebulons and are compressed to a larger chunk of the dust cloud by shrinking of the sheath. Our overall observations advance knowledge of sheath formation and are expected to be of interest in astroplasmas.

Bifacial rooftop photovoltaic panels appear to be an excellent means of power generation in this era of urbanization,especially for land-limited countries like *** paper presents a software-based approach to design and simulate a bifacial solar-panel-based energy model on the rooftop of the North Hall of Residence of the Islamic University of Technology,*** vertically mounted model investigates the feasibility and applicability of such an energy model in a university residence,situated in a load-shedding-prone ***,three prominent software platforms,namely PVSOL,PVsyst and System Advisor model(SAm),are brought into action and rigorous simulations are performed for three different orientations;promising outcomes are observed in terms of annual energy yield,bifacial gain(Bg)and consumption coverage of the grid and PV *** annual energy demand of the North Hall is~444733.5 *** three orientations can generate annually 92508.62,94643.48 and 86758.94 kWh,***,it is evident that the proposed orientations can supply almost 19-21%of the site’s annual *** Bg analysis shows an overall increase in energy gain of 13%,15.6%and 6%for Orientation-1,Orientation-2 and Orientation-3,respectively.A rigorous comparative analysis and deviation analysis among the software results has been accomplished to gain more insight into the feasibility of the proposed ***,we have focused on a detailed software-based estimation of energy production for different orientations of the PV panels,considering several factors,which will provide prior knowledge and assessment before going for hardware implementation in the future.

The diurnal and semidiurnal tidal wind field variations in the altitudes between 80 and 100 km of the earth's atmosphere over a mid-latitude station are studied by means of the phases of the zonal and meridional wind measurements made at Atlanta (34 ° N, 84 ° W). The rotation of diurnal tidal wind vector is seen to be clockwise at lower heights (80-86 km), swinging between clockwise and anti-clockwise at intermediate heights (88-96 km) and anti-clockwise at higher heights (96-100 km). The senses of rotation of diurnal and semidiurnal tidal wind vectors are compared between the stations located in the same and opposite hemispheres. The results are consistent with the tidal theory in the case of Atlanta and Adelaide (35°S, 139 ° E) whereas in the case of other stations considered in the present study, they showed marked variations.

Since 2000, the French National Radioactive Waste management Agency （ANDRA） has been constructing an Underground Research Laboratory （URL） at Bure （east of the Paris Basin） to perform experiments in order to obtain in situ data necessary to demonstrate the feasibility of geological repository in the Callovo- Oxfordian claystone. An important experimental program is planned to characterize the response of the rock to different drift construction methods, Before 2008, at the main level of the laboratory, most of the drifts were excavated using pneumatic hammer and supported with rock bolts, sliding steel arches and fiber shotcrete. Other techniques, such as road header techniques, stiff and flexible supports, have also been used to characterize their impacts. The drift network is developed following the in situ major stresses. The parallel drifts are separated enough so as they can be considered independently when their hydromechanical （Hm） behaviors are compared. mine-by experiments have been performed to measure the Hm response of the rock and the mechanical loading applied to the support system due to the digging and after excavation. Drifts exhibit extensional （mode I） and shear fractures （modes II and III） induced by excavation works. The extent of the induced fracture networks depends on the drift orientation versus the in situ stress field. This paper describes the drift convergence and deformation in the surrounding rock walls as function of time and the impact of different support methods on the rock mass behavior. An observation based method is finally applied to distinguish the instantaneous and time-dependent parts of the rock mass deformation around the drifts.

g>Aims and Objectives: g>To understand the lived experience and needs of patients with sickle cell disease during and two weeks after their crisis and identify the obstacles faced by patients while they are in the hospital. g>Background:g> although there is no specific data of a number of affected individuals with sickle cell disease in Oman based on their age, the majority of the Omani population are youth. This category of the population is either in their high school or working in the governmental or private sector in the country. When the most productive category of the population are getting frequently absent due to sickle cell crisis and complication of sickle cell crisis from their work, this leads to huge financial and human resource burden. g>Design:g> Phenomenology. g>method:g> This qualitative descriptive research was conducted using face-to-face interviews based on an interview protocol. The interview protocol was developed by the authors based on a framework called domains of well-being. Twenty adult patients have been recruited for the interview after meeting inclusion criteria and were asked about their well-being and lived experience during sickle cell crisis. Authors used SRQR checklist in reporting the study. g>Results:g> Thirteen themes were identified related to patients’ lived experience and their well-being during sickle cell crisis. One hundred twenty-five endophytic microorganisms were isolated from the roots,stems,and leaves of four prominent rice cultivars growing in temperate *** potential to combat rice blast disease and promote plant growth was *** dual culture tests highlighted the strong antagonistic activity of five fungal(ranging from 89%–70%)and five bacterial(72%–61%)*** examination focused on volatile compounds produced by selected isolates to counter the blast *** these,the highest chitinase(13.76μg mL−1)and siderophore(56.64%),was exhibited by Aspergillus flavus,and the highest HCN production was shown by Stenotrophomonas maltophilia(36.15μm mL−1).In terms of growth promotion traits,Aspergillus flavus and Enterobacter cloacae excelled in activities viz,phosphorous solubilization,ammonia production,auxin and gibberellic acid production,and nitrogen *** Identity of these endophytes was confirmed through molecular analysis as Trichoderma afroharzianum,Trichoderma harzianum,Penicillium rubens,Aspergillus flavus,Stenotrophomonas rhizophila,Stenotrophomonas maltophilia,Bacillus cereus,Enterobacter cloacae,and Bacillus *** greenhouse conditions,the highest disease control was shown by isolate Bacillus licheniformis and *** with an inhibition of 79%,followed by ***(77%)and ***(73%).The overall results of this study showed that Bacillus licheniformis and Stenotrophomonas rhizophila have great potential to be used as bio-stimulant and biocontrol agents to manage rice blast disease.

Down Protein C and S Antigen Could Be Predictor of mortality Outcome in Critical Egyptian COVID-19 Illness

Background: One of the most serious morbidity and mortality features in COVID-19 is thrombo-embolic manifestation with disturbed hemostasis in natural anticoagulant. Protein S plays a critical role in cytokine storming and acts as cross talk between immune status and coagulation process. So, we aimed to address its role in addition to protein C in severity and outcome of disease, with its role in vaccinated people by AstraZeneca. methods: The present study was conducted on 70 COVID-19 positive by real-time PCR. 40 of patients had moderate symptoms of respiratory, 30 cases were admitted into ICU of mansoura University Hospital, some of them under mechanical ventilator. In addition to 40 healthy volunteers after first dose of vaccinated AstraZenka as reference, assessment of protein C&S antigen was done by ELIZA. Results: Significant increase in total leucocytic count in COVID-19 than vaccinated volunteer with significant reduction in absolute lymphocytosis, increased neutrophilia. First significant observation was higher mPV in COVID-19 than vaccinated, in addition to significantly higher C-reactive protein in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Prominent interesting finding in our study was significant reduction in Protein C&S in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Logistic regression analysis revealed that both could be predictor of mortality outcome as CRP in COVID-19 illness. Conclusion: There was significant reduction in protein C&S in severe cases than moderate and vaccinated. Regression analysis shows that could be predictor of mortality as well as CRP, D-dimer. Large extended study and follow up are needed to assess the incidence of thromboembolism and role of protein C&S in different variety protocols of vaccination programs.
