This paper deals with experimental investigations of the electrical and physical properties of oil impregnated insulation paper for power transformers at different temperatures. The ac breakdown voltage, tensile strength and water content of insulation papers impregnated in mineral oil for different time periods were investigated. The effect of insulation paper thickness on the electrical and mechanical properties has also been studied. The results showed that the breakdown voltage and the tensile strength decreased with increasing the time of immersion of insulation paper in oil at room temperature, at 5℃ and at -12℃. Also, the thermal aging effect on the characteristic of insulation paper has been studied. It was found that high temperatures affect the breakdown voltage and the tensile strength to a great extent.

Lipid transfer protein （LTP） is a kind of small molecular protein, which is named for its ability to transfer lipid between cell membranes. It has been proved that the protein is involved in the responding to abiotic stresses. In this study, TaLTP-s, a genomic sequence of TaLTP was isolated from A genome of wheat （Triticum aestivum L）. sequencing analysis exhibited that there was no diversity in the coding region of TaLTP-s, but seven single nucleotide polymorphisms （sNPs） and 1 bp insertion/deletion （InOel） were detected in the promoter regions of different wheat accessions. Nucleotide diversity （T1） in the region was 0.00033, and linkage disequilibrium （LD） extended over almost the entire TaLTP-s region in wheat. The dCAPs markers based on sequence variations in the promoter regions （sNP-207 and sNP-1696） were developed, and three haplotypes were identified based on those markers. Association analysis between the haplotypes and agronomic traits of natural population consisted of 262 accessions showed that three haplotypes of TaLTP-s were significantly associated with plant height （PH）. Among the three haplotypes, Haplll is considered as the superior haplotype for increasing plant height in the drought stress environments. The G variance at the position of 207 bp could be a superior allele that significantly increased number of spikes per plant （NsP）. The functional marker of TaLTP-s provide a tool for marker-assisted selection regarding to plant height and number of spikelet per plant in wheat.

Emerging technologies such as electric vehicles,solid-state transformers,and DC transformers are implemented using the closed-loop bi-directional dual-active-bridge(DAB)*** this context,it is necessary to have average models that provide an efficient way of tuning the proportional integral(PI)compensator parameters for large-and small-signal *** present a novel small-signal model(ssM)for DAB converter with a single closed-loop PI controller and the total elimination of reactive current(IQ=0).The method applies a modulation technique for IQ=0 and introduces a composite function in the controller while reducing the original nonlinear switching model,which allows to decrease the order of the transfer function and analyze the closed-loop *** proposed ssM is analyzed using different response time,load,and DC voltage *** simulation and experimental results demonstrate the ease of implementation and effectiveness of the proposed model with respect to other ssM techniques.

BACKGROUND Magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) and wireless capsule endoscopy (WCE) are equally accepted modalities for noninvasive screening of small bowel involvement (sBI) in children with Crohn’s disease (CD) and indeterminate colitis (IC) albeit there is a paucity of data comparing the two and thereby guiding the clinician in selecting the ideal diagnostic approach. Therefore, the goal of this study is to provide additional evidence for capsule endoscopy role in the evaluation of established Crohn’s disease exacerbation compared to MRE in relation to Pediatric Crohn's Disease Activity Index (PCDAI), and histological indices. AIM To prospectively compare the findings of MRE and WCE and their agreement with PCDAI or histology in children with CD or IC. METHODs Consecutive patients diagnosed with CD and IC were screened for inclusion. After informed consent, patient’s demographic and clinical data was abstracted. The current pediatric disease activity index (PCDAI) and endoscopic findings were included. Patients underwent MRE and WCE including preprocedural patency capsule within a maximum of 7 d of each other. Pathological presence of active small bowel disease in ileal and duodenal biopsies were collected if the endoscopy was performed within 2 mo of the WCE study. Patients who failed to pass the PC were excluded from the study. WCE was read by two different experienced gastroenterologists (Attard TM and Colombo JM) blinded to each other's findings and to the findings on MRE (Mardis NJ). Agreement between WCE reviewers, WCE and MRE findings and concordance between positive PCDAI and sBI based on MRE compared with WCE was computed. REsULTs Forty-five patients were included in the study, 18 withdrew and 27 (20 males and 20 CD), mean age (standard deviation) 13.46 (2.4) years, completed the study protocol. Investigation of physico-chemical properties and microbial community during poultry manure co-composting process

Co-composting of poultry manure and rubber wood sawdust was performed with the ratio of 2：1（V/V） for a period of 60 days. An investigation was carried out to study the extracellular enzymatic activities and structural degradation utilizing Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）, thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis（TG/DTA）and scanning electron microscopy（sEM）. The microbial succession was also determined by using denaturing gel gradient electrophoresis（DGGE）. The compost was able to reach its highest temperature of 71°C at day 3 and stabilized between 30 and 40°C for 8 ***, FPase and β-glucosidase acted synergistically in order to degrade the cellulosic substrate. The xylanase activities increased gradually during the composting and reached the peak value of 11.637 U/g on day 35, followed by a sharp decline. Both Li P and Mn P activities reached their peak values on day 35 with 0.431 and 0.132 U/g respectively. The FT-IR spectra revealed an increase in aromaticity and a decrease in aliphatic compounds such as carbohydrates as decomposition proceeded. TGA/DTG data exhibited significant changes in weight loss in compost samples, indicating degradation of organic matter. sEM micrographs showed higher amounts of parenchyma exposed on the surface of rubber wood sawdust at day 60, showing significant degradation. DGGE and 16 s r DNA analyses showed that Burkholderia sp., Pandoraea sp., and Pseudomonas sp. were present throughout the composting process. Ornithinibacillus sp. and Castellaniella ginsengisoli were only found in the initial stage of the composting, while different strains of Burkholderia sp. also occurred in the later stage of composting.

style="text-align:justify;"> The aim of this work is to synthesize, characterize and evaluate the biological activity of 1,4-naphthoquinone derivatives ligands and their metal—Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chelates. Continuing our work with another derivatives of 1,4-naphthoquinone ligands, this work had been constructed for synthesis of new ligands derived from 1,4-naphthoquinone such as 3-thioacetyl-2-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone and 2-benzoyl-3-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone (L1-L2) which characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, electronic, IR, mass, 1H-NMR spectral data. The synthesized ligands have been carried out to achieve the coordination behavior towards bi-valent metal ions like cobalt, nickel and copper. The solid chelates of the different ligands were prepared and subjected to analytical techniques such as elemental analyses, spectroscopic techniques including mass, 1H-NMR, and IR spectroscopy, and thermal analyses techniques. The chelates were found to have octahedral geometry. The biological activity of the prepared ligands and their binary metals complexes were also screened against different antifungal and antibacterial organisms.span>

AIM:To determine correlations between family history,clinical features and mutational status of genes involved in the progression of colorectal cancer(CRC).METHODs:Histo-pathological features and molecular changes[KRAs,BRAF and CTNNB1 genes mutations,microsatellite instability(MsI)phenotype,expression of mismatch repair(MMR)and mucin(MUC)5AC proteins,mutation and expression analysis of TP53,MLH1promoter hypermethylation analysis]were examined in a series of 51 unselected Tunisian CRC patients,10 of them had a proven or probable hereditary disease,on the track of new tumoral markers for CRC susceptibility in Tunisian ***:As expected,MsI and MMR expression loss were associated to the presence of familial CRC(75%vs 9%,Psignificant associations have been detected between personal or familial cancer history and KRAs(codons 12 and 13)or TP53(exons 4-9)alterations.A significant inverse relationship has been observed between the presence of MsI and TP53 accumulation(10.0%vs 48.8%,P=0.0335)in CRC tumors,suggesting different molecular pathways to CRC that in turn may reflect different environmental ***,MUC5AC expression was significantly associated to the presence of MsI(46.7%vs 8.3%,P=0.0039),MMR expression loss(46.7%vs8.3%,P=0.0039)and the presence of familial CRC(63%vs 23%,P=0.039).CONCLUsION:These findings suggest that MUC5AC expression analysis may be useful in the screening of Tunisian patients with high risk of CRC.

style="text-align:justify;"> The aim of this work is to synthesize, characterize and evaluate the biological activity of 2-acetyl and 2-formyl-3-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone (L1 - L2) and their metal-Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chelates. The newly chelates were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, mass and 1HNMR spectra, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and biological activity. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of the ligands and its metal complexes were screened against bacterial species (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli) and fungi (Candida albicans). Ampicillin and amphotericin were used as references for antibacterial and antifungal studies. The activity data show that the metal complexes have a promising biological activity comparable with parent free ligand against bacterial and fungal species.span>
