The current study provides a quantum calculus-based medical image enhancement technique that dynamically chooses the spatial distribution of image pixel intensity *** technique focuses on boosting the edges and texture of an image while leaving the smooth areas *** brain magnetic Resonance Imaging(mRI)scans are used to visualize the tumors that have spread throughout the brain in order to gain a better understanding of the stage of brain *** detecting brain cancer is a complex challenge that the medical system faces when diagnosing the *** solve this issue,this research offers a quantum calculus-based mRI image enhancement as a pre-processing step for brain cancer *** proposed image enhancement approach improves images with low gray level changes by estimating the pixel’s quantum *** suggested image enhancement technique is demonstrated to be robust and resistant to major quality changes on a variety ofmRIscan datasets of variable *** scans,the BRISQUE“blind/referenceless image spatial quality evaluator”and the NIQE“natural image quality evaluator”measures were 39.38 and 3.58,*** proposed image enhancement model,according to the data,produces the best image quality ratings,and it may be able to aid medical experts in the diagnosis *** experimental results were achieved using a publicly available collection of mRI scans.

In this study,a new algorithm of fractional beta chaotic maps is proposed to generate chaotic sequences for image *** proposed technique generates multi random sequences by shuffling the image pixel *** technique is used to blur the pixels connecting the input and encrypted images and to increase the attack *** proposed algorithm makes the encryption process sophisticated by using fractional chaotic maps,which hold the properties of *** fractional beta sequences are utilized to alter the image pixels to decryption *** experimental results proved that the proposed image encryption algorithm successfully encrypted and decrypted the images with the same *** output findings indicate that our proposed algorithm has good entropy and low correlation *** translates to enhanced security against different attacks.A mATLAB programming tool was used to implement and assess the image quality measures.A comparison with other image encryption techniques regarding the visual inspection and signal-to-noise ratio is provided.

Over the past years,image manipulation tools have become widely accessible and easier to use,which made the issue of image tampering far more *** a direct result to the development of sophisticated image-editing applications,it has become near impossible to recognize tampered images with naked ***,to overcome this issue,computer techniques and algorithms have been developed to help with the identification of tampered *** on detection of tampered images still carries great *** the present study,we particularly focus on image splicing forgery,a type of manipulation where a region of an image is transposed onto another *** proposed study consists of four features extraction stages used to extract the important features from suspicious images,namely,Fractal Entropy(FrEp),local binary patterns(LBP),Skewness,and *** main advantage of FrEp is the ability to extract the texture information contained in the input ***,the“support vector machine”(SVm)classification is used to classify images into either spliced or *** analysis shows that the proposed algorithm performs better than recent state-of-the-art of splicing detection ***,the proposed algorithm achieves an ideal balance between performance,accuracy,and efficacy,which makes it suitable for real-world applications.

Phytochemical analysis, antioxidant, acetylcholinesterase, and α-amylase inhibitors from Hippeastrum hybridum extract

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Hippeastrum hybridum（HH） as a free radical scavenger,and an inhibitor of the two enzymes i-e alpha-amylase（α-amylase） and acetylcholinesterase（AChE）.mETHODS:In this study,HH plant was preliminary analyzed for phytochemical screening and then tested for its antioxidant,anti-α-amylase,and anti-AChE efficiency via standard ***:Phytochemical analysis shows the existence of different compounds;while Coumarins and quinones were *** total phenolic,flavonoid,and tannins content were found to be（78.52±0.69） mg gAE/g,（2.01±0.04） mg RUE/g,and（58.12±0.23） mg TAE/g of plant extract respectively.28.02%±0.02% alkaloid and 2.02%±0.05% saponins were present in the HH *** HH extract showed the anti-oxidant property with IC50（50%inhibition） of（151.01±0.13）(HH),（79.01±0.04）(Ascorbic acid) for ferric reducing,（91.48±0.13）(HH),（48.02±0.11）(Ascorbic acid) against Ammonium molybdenum,（156.02±0.31）(HH),（52.38±0.21）(Ascorbic acid) against DPPH,136.01±0.21（HH）,52.02±0.31（Ascorbic acid） against H2O2,and 154.12±0.03（HH）,（40.05±0.15）(Ascorbic acid)μg/mL against ABTS *** analysis indicated that HH caused a competitive type of inhibition of α-amylase(Vmaxremained constant and Km increases from 10.65 to84.37%) while glucophage caused the un-competitive type of inhibition i-e both Km and Vmaxdecreased from40.49 to 69.15%and 38.86 to 69.61%*** Ki,（inhibition constant）;KI,（dissociation constant）,Km,（michaelis-menten constant）,and IC50 were found to be62,364,68.1,and 38.08±0.22 for HH and 12,101.05,195,34.01±0.21 for ***,HH causes an anon-competitive type of inhibition of AChE i-e Km remains constant while Vmaxdecreases from 60.5%to74.1%.The calculated Ki,KI,Km,and IC50 were found to be 32,36.2,0.05,and 18.117±***:From the current results,it is concluded that HH extract contains bioactive compounds,and could be a good alternative to controlling oxidants,alzheimer‘s and T

given their numerous functional and architectural benefits,such as improved bearing capacity and increased resistance to elastic instability modes,cold-formed steel(CFS)built-up sections have become increasingly developed and used in recent years,particularly in the construction *** paper presents an analytical and numerical study of assembled CFS two single channel-shaped columns with different slenderness and configurations(backto-back,face-to-face,and box).These columns were joined by double-row rivets for the back-to-back and box configurations,whereas they were welded together for the face-to-face *** built-up columns were filled with ordinary concrete of good *** element models were applied,using ABAQUS software,to assess mechanical performance and study the influence of assembly techniques on the behavior of cold-formed columns under axial *** approaches based on Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 4 recommendations for un-filled and concrete-filled columns respectively were followed for the numerical analysis,and concrete confinement effects were also considered per American Concrete Institute(ACI)standards for face-to-face and box *** obtained results indicated a good correlation between the numerical results and the proposed analytical methodology which did not exceed 8%.The failure modes showed that the columns failed due to instabilities such as local and global buckling.

Pro-fertility effect of Ficus carica fruit extract in streptozotocin-induced male rats

Objective:To explore the impact of Ficus carica fruit aqueous extract on fertility parameters in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced male ***:Twenty-four male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into four different *** groups except a normal control group were induced with 50 mg/kg of streptozotocin(STZ)intravenously to induce diabetes.A positive control group was treated with an antidiabetic drug,metformin(500 mg/kg)whereas a negative control group remained untreated throughout the ***,another diabetic rat group received treatment with 400 mg/kg of aqueous Ficus carica fruit *** in the treatment group were administered Ficus carica fruit aqueous extract daily through forcefeeding via oral gavage for a 21-day *** included the sperm quality(count,motility and morphology),histology of the testes,serum testosterone and fasting blood glucose(FBg)***:The FBg level of the Ficus carica-treated rats exhibited a significant decrease compared to the negative control group(Pm quality analysis also indicated that the aqueous Ficus carica extract had significant positive effects on sperm count and motility(Pgy of the testes in Ficus caricatreated rats revealed an improved cell arrangement in the germinal cell ***,serum testosterone level showed an increment in the Ficus carica treatment group in comparison to the negative control ***:Our findings provide compelling evidence for the profertility and anti-hyperglycemic properties of aqueous Ficus carica fruit extract in diabetic-induced male rats.

目的模拟训练(simulation-based training,SBT)是一种有效的教育方法,广泛应用于包括肿瘤学在内的多种临床环境中。该文对肿瘤学中与SBT相关的研究进行了范围综述,全面了解SBT在提高医护人员技能方面的作用,从而提高护理质量和患者安全。方法根据Arksey和O’malley提出的范围综述方法框架,在medline、Scopus和Web of Science数据库中检索于2012年至2022年发表的,与SBT在提高肿瘤科医护人员技能方面的相关研究文献,仅纳入经过同行评审的英文或法语文献。由2名研究员独立进行文献的筛选、提取和分析。结果检索出1013篇文章,共纳入29篇文献。其中25篇文献侧重于非技术技能,如决策技能、沟通和团队合作技能以及认知能力;13篇文献侧重于技术技能。纳入文献研究结果表明,通过SBT项目,肿瘤科医护人员的技能得到了显著提高。其中14篇文献对SBT的应用进行了主观评估,9篇文献对其进行了客观评估,6篇文献采用了主观和客观相结合的评估方法。结论SBT是提高肿瘤科医护人员技能的有效方法,支持和推广SBT对提供高质量的医疗服务和确保患者安全至关重要。

Survey of current practices in the management of cervical cancer by moroccan radiotherapists

Objective:To assess the applicability degree of the international guidelines by moroccan radiotherapists,in order to improve the management of cervical cancer(CC),since CC is the second most common cancer for women in ***:This cross-sectional study was carried out using a questionnaire sent online to moroccan *** questionnaire covered participants'characteristics,initial assessment and treatment preparation,techniques and indications for radiotherapy and brachytherapy,dose and indications,as well as on the protocol adopted in the intermediate stages and the location of adjuvant treatments and assessments'***:74 radiotherapists out of 300 have responded to the *** 27.0%of practitioners reported discussing patient records systematically in a multidisciplinary consultation meeting(mCm).For the initial assessment,77.0%requested pelvic magnetic resonance imaging(mRI).It is significantly less requested in regional oncology centers(ROCs)than in university hospital centers(UHCs)or the private sector(Pmore,Clinicians in ROCs do not have access to new techniques of *** 83.8%of cases,the most prescribed radiotherapy protocols were 45–46 gy in 1.8–2 gy per ***-dimensional gynaecological brachytherapy high-throughput dose guided by dosimetric scanner was available in 75.5%of structures while interstitial gynaecological brachytherapy was only available in 23%of *** two most prescribed dose protocols were 47 gy and 37 gy in 74.4%and 21.6%of cases,***,monitoring during the first two years was based mainly on pelvic mRI(82.2%)while PET/CT was recommended by only less than 10%.Conclusions:The findings obtained show that our radiotherapists generally comply with international guidelines for the cervical cancer ***,they should still enhance their practices for the first staging evaluation,the use of systematic mCms,the doses and treatment techniques used,and
