Objective:To study characteristics of phospholipases C(PLCs),their importance for producing microorganisms us well us the potential of their use for industrial ***:PLC from Bacillus cereus(***) D101 was selected as an example of Gram-positive PLCs and PLC from Pseudomanas aeruginosa(***) D183 of Gram-negative *** were partially purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by membrane *** purified preparations were used to study effect of different factors on activities as well as in substrate specificity tests which were conducted using a turbidimetric assay ***:Maximum activity was at pH 7 and 8 and 40 ℃ for *** PLC,and pH 8-10 and 37 ℃ for *** *** PLCs were inhibited by Pi at 5 mM or higher,whereas,PLC from *** only was inhibited by *** of *** PLC was not affected by removing Zn^(2+) ions from reaction mixture or their replacement with Ca^(2+),Ba^(2+),Mg^(2+) or Mn^(2+)***-a-vis,activity of *** PLC was found to be metal ion dependent PLCs from both isolates were relatively thermostable and showed maximum affinity toward *** and phosphatidylethanolamine were not good substrates and phosphatidylinositol,phosphatidylserine,phosphatidylglycerol and cardiolipin could be considered ***:Human body physiological conditions could favor activity of *** and *** *** enzymes may participate in phosphate scavenging and virulence of producing isolates but not in *** from both isolates are potential candidates for industrial use.

In this work,the structure of 4-((2R)-2-(3,4-dibromophenyl)-1-fluorocyclopropyl)-N-(o-tolyl)benzamide(DBFB)has been determined at room temperature using single-crystal X-ray diffraction *** structure of the compound was solved using 1464 observed reflections with I≥2σ(I).It crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21 with a=20.0820(10),b=10.2770(10),c=4.860(2)?,β=95.9600(10)°,V=997.6(4)?3,Z=2,Dc=1.675 g/m3,F(000)=500,Μr=503.18,μ=4.09 mm-1 and the final R=*** molecular packing of the title compound exhibits C–H???O and C–H???F hydrogen bonds forming a supramolecular ***,conformational analysis has been performed in order to confirm the most stable conformer of the title *** parameters of the keto conformer in the ground state have been obtained using density functional theory(DFT)method with B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)level of *** general,a good agreement between the calculated and experimental results was *** normal modes of vibration,molecular boundary orbitals(HOMO and LUMO),reactivity descriptors,Mullikan atomic charges and molecular electrostatic potential for the title compound have been evaluated and discussed.

Phenotypic and functional heterogeneity are the hallmarks of effector and memory T cells. Upon antigen stimulation, y T cells differentiate into two major types of memory T cells： central memory cells, which patrol the blood and secondary lymphoid organs, and effector memory cells, which migrate to peripheral tissues, y T cells display in vitroa certain degree of plasticity in their function that is reminiscent of that which is observed in conventional CD4 T cells. Similar to CD4 T cells, in which a plethora of specialized subsets affect the host response, y8 T cells may readily and rapidly assume distinct Thl-, Th2-, Th17-, TFH and T regulatory-like effector functions, suggesting that they profoundly influence cell-mediated and humoral immune responses. In addition to differences in cytokine repertoire, y~ T cells exhibit diversity in homing, such as migration to lymph node follicles, to help B cells versus migration to inflamed tissues. Here, we review our current understanding of y T-cell lineage heterogeneity and flexibility, with an emphasis on the human system, and propose a classification of effector y T cells based on distinct functional phenotypes.

Clinical outcome of pediatric collagenous gastritis: Case series and review of literature

Collagenous gastritis (CG) is characterized by patchy subepithelial collagen bands. Effective treatment and the clinical and histological outcome of CG in children are poorly defined. The aim of this study is to summarize the published literature on the clinical outcome and response to therapy of pediatric CG including two new cases. We performed a search in Pubmed, OVID for related terms; articles including management and clinical and/or endo-histologic follow up information were included and abstracted. Reported findings were pooled in a dedicated database including the corresponding data extracted from chart review in our patients with CG. Twenty-four patients were included (17 females) with a mean age of 11.7 years. The clinical presentation included iron deficiency anemia and dyspepsia. The reported duration of follow up (in 18 patients) ranged between 0.2-14 years. Despite most subjects presenting with anemia including one requiring blood transfusion, oral iron therapy was only documented in 12 patients. Other treatment modalities were antisecretory measures in 13 patients; proton pump inhibitors (12), or histamine-2 blockers (3), sucralfate (5), prednisolone (6), oral budesonide in 3 patients where one received it in fish oil and triple therapy (3). Three (13%) patients showed no clinical improvement despite therapy; conversely 19 out of 22 were reported with improved symptoms including 8 with complete symptom resolution. Spontaneous clinical resolution without antisecretory, anti-inflammatory or gastroprotective agents was noted in 5 patients (4 received only supplemental iron). Follow up endohistopathologic data (17 patients) included persistent collagen band and stable Mononuclear cell infiltrate in 12 patients with histopathologic improvement in 5 patients. Neither collagen band thickness nor mononuclear cell infiltrate correlated with clinical course. Effect of infliximab on small bowel stenoses in patients with Crohn's disease

AIM: To assess prospectively small bowel stenoses in Crohn's disease (CD) patients treated with infliximab using Small Intestine Contrast Ultrasonography (SICUS). METHODS: Twenty patients (M 12, age, 42.7 ± 11.8 years), 15 of whom showed obstructive symptoms indicating the presence of small bowel stenosis, and 5 without stenosis, were treated with infliximab (5 mg/kg at wk 0, 2, 6 and 5 mg/kg every 8 wk thereafter) for steroid refractoriness, fistulizing disease, or to avoid high-risk surgery. SICUS was performed at the induction phase and at regular time intervals during the follow-up period of 34.7 ± 16.1 mo (range 7-58). Small bowel stenoses were detected by SICUS, endoscopy and MRI. RESULTS: In no case was progression of stenoses or the appearance of new ones seen. Of the 15 patients with stenosis, 5 stopped treatment after the induction phase (2 for no response, 3 for drug intolerance, one of whom showed complete regression of one stenosis). Among the remaining 10 patients, a complete regression of 8 stenoses (1 stenosis in 5 patients and 3 stenoses in one patient) was observed after 6-22 infliximab infusions. CONCLUSION: In patients with CD treated with infliximab we observed: (a) No progression of small bowel stenosis and no appearance of new ones, (b) Complete regression of 1/22 stenosis after the induction phase and of 8/15 (53.3%) stenosis after 6-22 infusionsduring maintenance therapy.

Mn（Ⅱ）, Co（Ⅱ）, Ni（Ⅱ） and Cu（Ⅱ） complexes of 5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazol-3-imine-2＇-hydroxynaphthaline have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, IH NMR, EI-mass, UV-Vis, and ESR （electron spin resonance） spectra, molar conductance, magnetic moment measurements, DC conductivity and thermogravimetric analysis. IR spectra confirm that the ligand molecule existed in both thione and thiole forms. The molar conduc- tance values indicate the complexes are nonelectrolyte. The magnetic moment values of the complexes display paramagnetic behavior. All studies confirm the formation of an octahedral geometry for complex 1 and the other complexes have tetrahedral geometrical structures. The structures of the complexes have also been theoretically studied by using the molecular mechanic calculations by the hyperchem. 8.03 molecular modeling program which confirm the proposed structures. The Schiff-base ligand and its metal complexes have also been screened for their antimicrobial activities.
