Th. Protective Effect of Grape Seed Extract on Cardiotoxicity Induced by Doxorubicin Drug in Male Rats

Objective: Th.s work was designed to determine th. productive effect of grape seed proanth.cynadine extract (GSPE) and Vitamin E against Doxorubicin (DOX) induced myocardial toxicity in 50 male. Wister rates were divided in five groups. Th. 1st group was untreated and served as a control. Th. 2nd group was treated with.DOX only, th. 3rd group was pretreated with.GSPE, th. 4th.group was pretreated with.Vitamin E, and th. 5th.group was pretreated with.GSPE and Vitamin E. DOX was administered by single i.p (Intraperitonial) injection of 15 mg/kg/body weigh. to induce cardio toxicity and Vitamin E was administered at a dose of 400 IU/kg/bodyweigh./day, p.o (per oral) for 10 days prior to DOX administration [1]. GSPE was given at a dose of 150 mg/kg/bodyweigh./ day, p.o (per oral) for 10 days before treatment with.DOX. After 2 weeks experimental period, blood samples and h.art tissues were taken from all groups. Th. general observations, mortality, h.stopath.logy, biomarker enzymes like Lactate Deh.drogenase (LDh., Creatine Ph.sph.kinase (CPK), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Antioxidants such.as Glutath.one (GSh., Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT) and Malondialdeh.de (MDA) were monitored after 2 weeks of th. last dose. Results: Administration of DOX caused cardiomyopath. associated with.an antioxidant deficiency. Pretreatment with.GSPE and Vitamin E significantly (P h. myocardium from th. toxic effects of DOX by reducing th. elevated level of biomarkers and diagnostic enzymes like LDh. CPK, AST, and ALT to normal levels. GSPE and Vitamin E increased th. GSh. SOD and CAT levels and decreased th. MDA levels in cardiac tissue. Conclusion: Th.se results suggest a cardioprotective effect of GSPE and Vitamin E due to its antioxidant properties.

Th. presence of waste tires poses an environmental ch.llenge as th.y occupy a significant amount of land and are expensive to dispose in ***,reusing waste tires can address th.s issue wh.n waste tires are used in geotech.ical *** determine th. viability of th.s approach.laboratoryscale tests were conducted to investigate load-bearing capacity of circular footings on sand-tire sh.ed(STS)mixtures with.sh.edded waste tire contents of 5%e15%by weigh. and th.ee different width. of *** investigation focused on analyzing th. th.ckness of layers composed of STS mixtures,th. soil cap,and th. impact of geogrids on bearing *** results indicate th.t a specific mixture of sand and tire sh.eds provides th. h.gh.st footing-bearing *** addition,th. optimal sh.ed content and size were found to be 10%by weigh. and 2 cm×10 cm,***,for a given tire sh.ed width.a particular length.provides th. largest bearing *** results agree well with.th.t of previous research.conducted by th. first auth.r and h.s colleagues in direct sh.ar and California bearing ratio(CBR)*** primary finding of th.s research.is th.t th. use of two-layered STS mixtures reinforced by geogrids significantly enh.nces th. bearing capacity.

Lh. in 2012 with.a center of mass energy of 8 TeV and an integrated luminosity of 11.6 fb−*** data were gath.red from th. CMS open *** matter,in th. framework of th. simplified model(mono-Z′),can be produced from proton-proton collisions in association with.a new h.poth.tical gauge boson,Z′.Th.s,th. search.was conducted in th. dimuon plus large missing transverse momentum *** bench.ark scenario of mono-Z′,wh.ch.is known as ligh. vector,was used for interpreting th. CMS open *** evidence of dark matter was observed,and exclusion limits were set on th. masses of dark matter and Z′at 95%confidence level.

Colonoscopy is an integral part of th. lower bowel care and is generally considered a potentially safe diagnostic and th.rapeutic procedure performed as a daycare outpatient *** is associated with.different complications th.t are not limited to adverse events related to th. bowel preparation solutions used,th. sedatives used,but to th. procedure related as well including bleeding and *** to th. extra-luminal abdominal organs during colonoscopy are uncommon,h.wever,serious complications related to th. procedure h.ve been reported infrequently in th. *** th.eatening injuries to th. spleen,liver,pancreas,mesentery,and urinary bladder h.ve been reported as early as in *** injuries sh.uld not be overlooked by clinicians and *** increasing abdominal pain,abdominal distension,and h.modynamic instability in absence of rectal bleeding sh.uld raise th. possibility of severe organ *** and h.patic injury following colonoscopy are usually serious and may be life *** conservative management may h.lp,yet th.y usually need interventional radiology or surgical *** pancreatitis following colonoscopy is usually mild and is mostly managed *** mech.nism of abdominal organ injuries during colonoscopy is not fully understood,h.wever many risk factors h.ve been identified,wh.ch.can be classified as-organ related,procedure related,and local abdominal *** colonoscopy and prior intra-abdominal adh.sions are probably th. most relevant risk factors for th.se *** lateral position,avoidance of looping and excessive force during th. procedure would probably reduce th. risk of such.injuries.

In th.s study,green zinc oxide(ZnO)/polypyrrole(Ppy)/cellulose acetate(CA)film h.s been synth.sized via solvent *** film was used as supporting material for glucose oxidase(GOx)to sensitize a glucose *** nanoparticles h.ve been prepared via th. green route using olive leaves extract as a ***/Ppy nanocomposite h.s been synth.sized by a simple in-situ ch.mical oxidative polymerization of pyrrole(Py)monomer using ferric ch.oride(FeCl3)as an oxidizing *** produced materials and th. composite films were ch.racterized using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)and th.rmogravimetric analysis(TGA).Glucose oxidase was successfully immobilized on th. surface of th. prepared film and th.n ZnO/Ppy/CA/GOx composite was sputtered with.platinum electrode for th. current determination at different initial concentrations of *** measurements proved th. suitability and th. h.gh.sensitivity of th. constructed biosensor for th. detection of glucose levels in different *** performance of th. prepared biosensor h.s been assessed by measuring and comparing glucose concentrations up to 800 *** results affirmed th. reliability of th. developed biosensor towards real samples wh.ch.suggests th. wide-scale application of th. proposed biosensor.
