Ba.KGROUND: Deep venous thrombosis(DVT) is a.ma.or ca.se of morbidity a.d is a.common presenting compla.nt to the emergency depa.tment(ED). The purpose of this study is to va.ida.e the preva.ence a.d distribution of venous thrombi isola.ed to proxima. lower extremity veins, other tha. common femora. a.d poplitea. veins in pa.ients with ***: This is a.single-center retrospective study tha. looked a. pa.ients presenting to the ED of a.tertia.y ca.e hospita. between Ja.ua.y 2014 a.d a.gust 2018. The clinica. presenta.ion a.d la.ora.ory a.d ima.ing results were obta.ned using the hospita.'s electronic medica. ***: a.tota. of 2,507 pa.ients underwent a.lower extremity duplex ultra.ound during the study period. a.ong them, 379(15%) were included in the study. The percenta.es of isola.ed thrombi to the femora. vein a.d deep femora. vein were 7.92% a.d 0.53%, respectively. When the pa.ients were stra.ified into the two groups of isola.ed DVT a.d two-point compression DVT, there were no sta.istica.ly significa.t differences in the la.ora.ory results between both groups. However, immobilized pa.ients a.d pa.ients with recent surgeries were more likely to ha.e a. isola.ed ***: Thrombi isola.ed to proxima. lower extremity veins other tha. the common femora. a.d poplitea. veins ma.e up 8.45% of DVTs. This study a.ms to provide electricity to a.remote villa.e in the Union of Comoros tha. ha. been a.fected by energy problems for over 40 yea.s. The study uses a.50 kW diesel genera.or, a.10 kW wind turbine, 1500 kW photovolta.c sola. pa.els, a.converter, a.d stora.e ba.teries a. the proposed sources. The ma.n objective of this study is to conduct a.deta.led a.a.ysis a.d optimiza.ion of a.hybrid diesel a.d renewa.le energy system to meet the electricity dema.d of a.remote a.ea.villa.e of 800 to 1500 inha.ita.ts loca.ed in the north of Nga.idja.Isla.d in Comoros. The study uses the Hybrid Optimiza.ion Model for electric Renewa.le (HOMER) Pro to conduct simula.ions a.d optimize the a.a.ysis using meteorologica. da.a.from Comoros. The results show tha. hybrid combina.ion is more profita.le in terms of ma.gin on economic cost with a.less expensive investment. With a.diesel cost of $1/L, a. a.era.e wind speed of 5.09 m/s a.d a.sola. irra.ia.ion va.ue of 6.14 kWh/msup>2sup>/da., the system works well with a.proportion of renewa.le energy production of 99.44% with a. emission qua.tity of 1311.407 kg/yea.. 99.2% of the production comes from renewa.le sources with a. estima.ed energy surplus of 2,125,344 kWh/yea. with the cost of electricity (COE) estima.ed a. $0.18/kWh, presenting a.cost-effective a.terna.ive compa.ed to current ma.ket ra.es. We study the problem of a.tempora. discontinuity in the permittivity of a. unbounded medium with Lorentzia. dispersion. More specifica.ly, we ta.kle the situa.ion in which a.monochroma.ic pla.e wa.e forwa.d-tra.eling in a.genera.ly lossy) Lorentzia.-like medium sca.ters from the tempora. interfa.e tha. results from a. insta.ta.eous a.d homogeneous a.rupt tempora. cha.ge in its pla.ma.frequency(while keeping its resona.ce frequency consta.t). The a.m of the present study wa. to determine the preva.ence of bovine cysticercosis in both ca.tle a.d buffloa., in Egypt a.d to a.sess the cysticida. effica.y of Ba.a.ites a.gyptia.a.fruits (B. a.gyptia.a. a.d Moringa.oleifera.seeds (M. oleifera. extra.ts in experimenta.ly infected mice. The study detected the level of tumor necrosis fa.tor (TNF-α) to monitor the immune a.d infla.ma.ory responses of experimenta.ly infected mice. Through mea. inspection, a.tota. number of 2125 ma.e bovine, 2 to 5 yea.s old, (1125 ca.tle a.d 1000 buffloes) were exa.ined under the a.thority of a.bsa.ine a.d a.wa.a. officia. a.a.toirs in Ca.ro Governora.e, Egypt covering the period extended from Ma.ch 2022 to a.ril 2023. The overa.l preva.ence of the disea.e a.ong bovine wa. 7.8% (6.31% of ca.tle a.d 9.5% of buffloes). Besides, B. a.gyptia.a.a.d M. oleifera.extra.ts showed cysticida. a.tivity in experimenta.ly infected mice. a.decrea.e in the numbers of cysticerci wa. found in a.l trea.ed mice groups, a.d up to 88% reduction wa. a.hieved in the B. a.gyptia.a.trea.ed group;higher tha. tha. wa. recorded in both M. oleifera.(72.23%) a.d a.benda.ole-trea.ed ones (80.56%). Postmortem findings proved tha. M. oleifera.a.d B. a.gyptia.a.reduced cysticerci numbers compa.a.le to a.commercia. a.thelmintic. The study showed a.significa.t decrea.e (P 0.001) in TNF-α levels a.ter trea.ment with Ba.a.ites a.d Moringa.extra.ts, compa.ed with the untrea.ed control a.d the a.benda.ole-trea.ed groups.

Wa.er is the most a.unda.t liquid on the surfa.e of the ea.th. It is a.liquid whose properties a.e quite surprising, both a. a.pure liquid a.d a. a.solvent. Wa.er is a.very cohesive liquid: its melting a.d va.oriza.ion tempera.ures a.e very high for a.liquid tha. is neither ionic nor meta.lic, a.d whose mola. ma.s is low. Thus, wa.er rema.ns liquid a. a.mospheric pressure up to 100C while simila. molecules such a. H2s, H2se, H2Te for exa.ple would give a.va.oriza.ion tempera.ure close to 80C. This cohesion is in fa.t ensured by hydrogen bonds between wa.er molecules. This type of bonds between neighboring molecules, hydrogen bonds, is quite often found in chemistry [1] [2]. a.y cha.ge in the sta.e of a.grega.ion of a.substa.ce occurs with the a.sorption or relea.e of a.certa.n a.ount of la.ent hea. of tra.sforma.ion. La.ent hea. of fusion, va.oriza.ion or sublima.ion is the ra.io of the energy supplied a. hea. to the ma.s of the substa.ce tha. is melted, va.orized or sublima.ed. a. a.result of the reversibility of the processes, the fusion hea. is equa. to the hea. relea.ed in the reverse process: crysta.liza.ion a.d solidifica.ion hea.. a.d likewise the hea. of va.oriza.ion is equa. to the hea. of condensa.ion. This equa.ity of hea. is often used to determine experimenta.ly either of these qua.tities. There a.e two ma.n mea.urement methods: 1) Direct mea.urement using the ca.orimeter, 2) Indirect mea.ure ba.ed on the use of the Va.tHoff rela.ionship. The objective of this work is to mea.ure the la.ent hea. of wa.er va.oriza.ion a.d verify the compa.ibility of the experimenta. va.ues with the va.ues given by the ta.les using the indirect method.

Potter syndrome is a.ra.e congenita. ma.forma.ion tha. prima.ily a.fects ma.e fetuses;it is cha.a.terized by pulmona.y hypopla.ia. skeleta. ma.forma.ion, a.d kidney a.norma.ities. The pressure of the uterine wa.l due to oligohydra.nios lea.s to a. unusua. fa.ia. a.pea.a.ce, a.norma. limbs in a.norma. positions, or contra.tures. The fetus genera.ly dies soon a.ter birth due to respira.ory insufficiency. The ba.y wa. a.live preterm ma.e, born to a.30-yea.-old multigra.ida. out of a.non-consa.guineous ma.ria.e via.cesa.ea. section. There wa. no liquor a. the time of delivery. The ba.y did not cry immedia.ely a.ter birth a.d required resuscita.ion, followed by mecha.ica. ventila.ion. Multiple congenita. a.oma.ies suggestive of Potter’s syndrome were noted including fa.ia. fea.ures, fla.tened nose, low protruding ea., retrogna.hism, a.d epica.tha. folds with unila.era. a.resia.of the choa.a. Chest X-ra. showed sma.l volume lung fields suggestive of pulmona.y hypopla.ia. a.d we ha. on ultra.onogra.hy bila.era. polycystic kidney disea.e on ultra.onogra.hy. a. 42 hours of life, the ba.y developed ta.hypnea.a.d severe chest retra.tions a.d died due to respira.ory insufficiency. Our ca.e highlights the importa.ce of regula. prena.a. checks a.d exa.ina.ions in ea.h pregna.cy, which helps to collect suspected ca.es a.d improve knowledge of this syndrome for better ma.a.ement.
