The present article aims to examine the heat and mass distribution in a free convection flow of electrically conducted,generalized Jeffrey nanofluid in a heated rotatory *** flow analysis is considered in the presence of thermal radiation and the transverse magnetic field of strength *** medium is porous accepting generalized Darcy’s *** motion of the fluid is due to the cosine oscillations of the *** has been formed by the uniform dispersing of the Silver nanoparticles in regular engine *** problem has been modeled in the form of classical partial differential equations and then generalized by replacing time derivative with Atangana–Baleanu(AB)time-fractional *** taking the Laplace transform technique(LTT)and using physical boundary conditions,exact expressions have been obtained for momentum,energy,and concentration *** impact of a number of parameters on fluid flow is shown *** numerical tables have been computed for variation in the rate of heat and mass transfer with respect to rooted ***,the classical solution is recovered by taking the fractional parameter approaching *** is worth noting that by adding silver nanoparticles in regular engine oil,its heat transfer rate increased by 14.59%,which will improve the life and workability of the engine.

It is a very difficult task for the researchers to find the exact solutions to mathematical problems that contain non-linear terms in the ***,this article aims to investigate the viscous dissipation(VD)effect on the fractional model of Jeffrey fluid over a heated vertical flat plate that suddenly moves in its own *** on the Atangana-Baleanu operator,the fractional model is developed from the fractional constitutive *** is responsible for the non-linear behavior in the *** taking the Laplace and Fourier sine transforms,exact expressions have been obtained for momentum and energy *** influence of relative parameters on fluid flow and temperature distribution is shown *** special cases,and for the sake of correctness,the corresponding results for second-grade fluid and Newtonian viscous fluid are also *** is interesting to note that fractional parameterαprovides more than one line as compared to the classical *** effect represents the memory effect in the fluid which is not possible to elaborate by the classical *** is also worth noting that the temperature profile of the generalized Jeffrey fluid rises for higher values of Eckert number which is due to the enthalpy difference of the boundary layer.

An emerging definition of the fractal-fractional operator has been used in this study for the modeling of Casson fluid *** magnetohydrodynamics flow of Casson fluid has cogent in a channel where the motion of the upper plate generates the flow while the lower plate is at a static *** proposed model is non-dimensionalized using the Pi-Buckingham theorem to reduce the complexity in solving the model and computation *** non-dimensional fractal-fractional model with the power-law kernel has been solved through the Laplace transform *** Mathcad software has been used for illustration of the influence of various parameters,i.e.,Hartman number,fractal,fractional,and Casson fluid parameters on the velocity of fluid *** graphs and tables,the results have been implemented and it is shown that the boundary conditions are fully *** results reveal that the flow velocity is decreasing with the increasing values of the Hartman number and is increasing with the increasing values of the Casson fluid *** findings of the fractal-fractional model have elucidated that the memory effect of the flow model has higher quality than the simple fractional and classical ***,to show the validity of the obtained closed-form solutions,special cases have been obtained which are in agreement with the already published solutions.

Frequency of Bcr-Abl Fusion Oncogene Splice Variants Associated with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML)

BCR-ABL fusion oncogene originates from the reciprocal translocation of chromosome 9 and 22 t(9;22) (q34;q11). It translates a chimeric protein, p210, characterized by constitutive activation of its tyrosine kinase, which triggers leukemogenic pathways resulting in onset of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). In CML, the classic fusion is b2a2 or b3a2 fusing exon 13 (b2) or exon 14 (b3) of BCR to exon 2 (a2) of ABL. The type of bcr/abl transcripts may be associated with different prognosis and hence useful in therapeutic plan. This study was conducted to calculate the frequency of these splice variants as the frequencies of different fusion oncogenes associated with leukaemia can vary in different geographical regions due to interplay of genetic variation in different ethnic populations, diverse environmental factors and living style. A very sensitive nested RT-PCR was established to detect BCR-ABL splice variants in CML. Sensitivity of RT-PCR assay was of the order of 10–6. Thirty CML patients were subjected to BCR-ABL analysis. Out of 30 Pakistani patients, 19 (64%) expressed b3a2 while 11 (36%) expressed b2a2 transcript. This shows that BCR-ABL splice variants differ in their frequencies which may have an effect on biology and implications for prognosis and management of BCR-ABL positive Leukemias.

Background: Thioacetamide (TAA) has been used extensively in the development of suitable animal models of acute and chronic liver injury employing various doses, times and routes of its administration, particularly in drinking water due to its resemblance with human liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. The aim of this study was to investigate and compare hematological alteration during the acute and chronic liver inflammation. Methods: Acute Liver inflammation was induced in Wistar rats via intraperitoneal injection of thioacetamide and the animals were sacrificed 12 h after the TAA administration. Induction of chronic liver inflammation was performed by continuous administration of TAA in the drinking water (200 mg/L) during 18 weeks of experiment. After that all animals were sacrificed and Blood samples were collected for further analysis. Results: Single intra peritoneal injection of TAA (300 mg/kg B.W.) induced an acute condition with hematological changes including leukocytosis with marked neutrophilia (P = 0.0429), lymphopenia, thrombocytosis as well as increased hemoglobin concentration (P 0.05) and decline of erythrocytic count (P = 0.0009). Eighteen weeks of uninterrupted supply of TAA (200 mg/L) in drinking water lead to chronic inflammation and the hematological alterations were leucopenia (P = 0.0197) accompanied with neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. Increase in RBCs (P = 0.0073) and Hb contents was also observed with a decline of red cell indices. Conclusion: Taken together these findings we can conclude that the animals respond differently under acute and chronic inflammatory condition with TAA administration. Leukocytosis with marked neutrophilia, thrombocytosis as well as increased hemoglobin concentration and decline of erythrocytic count were observed in acute while leucopenia accompanied with neutropenia and thrombocytopenia and increase in RBCs, Hb and Hct was also observed with a decline of other red cell indices during chronic phase.

In the current issue of this journal,Neumann et *** novel insights into the role of inositol-1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor subtype 3(IP3R3)in combined immunodeficiency[1].They show that subjects with heterozygous variants in IP3R3 have dysfunctional Ca2+mobilization from the endoplasmic reticulum and impaired proliferation of T and B *** observations demonstrate that adaptive immune cells such as T and B cells are prone to defects in IP3R3-Ca2+*** highlights a new dimension to the function of IP3R3 in adaptive immune cells that was hitherto unknown.

The levels of As, Cd, Pb and Hg were investigated in the medicinal herbal syrup Entoban, which is widely used in the management of non-specific diarrhea and acute intestinal infections of various etiologies. The ingredients in Entoban syrup include 6 potent herbal drugs: Aegle marmelose, Berberis aristata, Butea frondosa, Holarrhena antidysenterica, Myrtus communis, and Quercus infectoria. Entoban medicinal plant syrup was analyzed for As, Cd, Pb and Hg by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy(FAAS). Contents of heavy metals in the examined samples were in the range: As(0.074–10.0 ppm); Cd(0.020–0.3 ppm); Pb(0.00–10.0 ppm) and Hg(0.00–1.0 ppm). Results were compared with permissible limit acceptability intake(AHPA). According to determined amounts of heavy metals, the investigated Entoban syrup samples were validated and considered safe for human consumption.

In the present paper we discuss the magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） peristaltic flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid model in a vertical asymmetric channel under a zero Reynolds number and long wavelength approximation. Exact solution of the temperature equation in the absence of dissipation term has been computed and the analytical ex- pression for stream function and axial pressure gradient are established. The flow is analyzed in a wave frame of reference moving with the velocity of wave. The expression for pressure rise has been computed numerically. The physical features of pertinent parameters are analyzed by plotting graphs and discussed in detail.

Cloud computing, after its success as a commercial infrastructure, is now emerging as a private infrastructure. The software platforms available to build private cloud computing infrastructure vary in their performance for management of cloud resources as well as in utilization of local physical resources. Organizations and individuals looking forward to reaping the benefits of private cloud computing need to understand which software platform would provide the efficient services and optimum utilization of cloud resources for their target applications. In this paper, we present our initial study on performance evaluation and comparison of three cloud computing software platforms from the perspective of common cloud users who intend to build their private clouds. We compare the performance of the selected software platforms from several respects describing their suitability for applications from different domains. Our results highlight the critical parameters for performance evaluation of a software platform and the best software platform for different application domains.
