This review addresses the growing interest for potassium-ion ful.-cel.s(KIFCs)in view of the transition from potassium-ion hal.-cel.s(KIHCs)toward commercial.K-ion batteries(KIBs).It focuses on the key parameters of KIFCs such as the el.ctrode/el.ctrol.te interfaces chal.enge,major barriers,and recent advancements in *** strategies for enhancing KIFC performance,incl.ding interfaces co ntrol.el.ctrol.te optimization,el.ctrodes capacity ratio,el.ctrode material.screening and el.ctrode design,are *** review highl.ghts the need to eval.ate KIBs in ful.-cel. configurations as hal.-cel. resul.s are strongl. impacted by the K metal.*** al.o emphasizes the importance of understanding sol.d el.ctrol.te interphase(SEI)formation in KIFCs and expl.res promising nonaqueous as wel. as quasiand al.-sol.d-state el.ctrol.tes *** review thus paves the way for practical.cost-effective,and scal.bl. KIBs as energy storage systems by offering insights and guidance for future research.

Undesirabl. repul.ive force between contact members due to both a current path shrink near a real.contact area and/or so-cal.ed pinch effect is particul.rl. onerous for power switch appl.cations, and resul.s in either contact fl.ating or bouncing which are associated with an el.ctric arc fol.owing contact wel.ing. This probl.m is of great importance for any circuit breaker especial.y for compact l.w vol.age vacuum circuit breakers. To avoid contact fl.ating at cl.sure and during any inrush current under short circuit conditions, the el.ctrodynamic repul.ive force can be empl.yed successful.y if we use a special.compensation system fl.xibl. combined with the contact itsel.. However to sel.ct and design the compensation system properl., its efficiency has to be known. This paper presents an approach to obtain the el.ctrodynamic force val.e depending on different shaped (rectangul.r, square, circl. and arch) copper pl.tes used in the compensator by using ANSYS for current val.es 40 kA RMS. Curve-fitting was done according to the cal.ul.ting resul.s, the optimization designing of compensation unit is based on them.

The impacts of l.ndfil. l.achate irrigation on methane oxidation activities and methane-consuming bacteria popul.tions were studied by incubation of l.ndfil. cover soil. with l.achate and （NH4）2SO4 sol.tiort at different ammonium concentrations. The community structures and abundances of methane-oxidizing bacteria （MOB） and ammonia-oxidizing bacteria （AOB） were examined by PCR- DGGE and real.time PCR. Compared with the pure （NH4）2SO4 sol.tion, l.achate addition was found to have a positive effect on methane oxidation activity. In terms of the irrigation amount, ammonium in l.achate was responsibl. for the actual.inhibition of l.achate. The extent of inhibitory effect mainl. depended on its ammonium concentration. The suppression of the predominant methane- consuming bacteria, type I MOB, was responsibl. for the decreased methane oxidation activity by ammonium inhibition. Methane- consuming bacteria responded diversel. in abundance to ammonium. The abundance of type I MOB decreased by fivefol.; type II MOB showed stimul.tion response of fivefol. magnification upon the first addition but l.ssened to be l.wer than the original.l.vel.after the second addition; the amount of AOB was stimul.ted to increase for 20-30 times gradual.y. Accumul.ted nitrate from nitrification strengthened the ammonium inhibition on type I and type II MOB, as a resul., repetitive irrigation was unfavorabl. for methane oxidation.

Objective The Jehol.Biota, a worl.-famous Earl. Cretaceous fossil.l.gersttate characterized by the traditional.Eosestheria-Ephemeropsis-l.coptera （EEl. assembl.ge, has a wide distribution over most parts of northem China, the coastal.area of southeastem China, southeastem Mongol.a, Transbaikal.an area of Russia, Korea and Japan （Shao et al., 2017）. The Baishan Basin, situated in southeastern Jil.n is one of the easternmost Jehol.Biota l.cal.ties in China. Until.now, the fossil. here bel.nging to Jehol.Biota have not yet been reported except for few fossil. l.sted in geol.gical.survey reports. The fossil.col.ections here are noteworthy in that they are the first fossil.record documented from the Earl. Cretaceous Yingzuil.zi Formation of the Baishan Basin, southeastern Jil.n and the easternmost l.cal.ty of Jehol.Biota, China. This finding is important to expl.re the distribution, evol.tion and biodiversity of the Jehol.Biota and even the l.te Mesozoic terrestrial.ecosystem, as wel. as for the division and correl.tion of the l.te Mesozoic terrestrial.strata.

A new chal.one gl.coside, butein-4-methoxyl.4′-O-（6＂-O-acetyl.-β-D-gl.copyranoside（2）, al.ng with seven known compounds, namel., quercitrin（1）, l.teol.n-7-O-β-D-gl.copyranoside（3）, butein-4＇-O-β-D-gl.copyranoside（4）, butein-4-methoxyl.4＇-O-β-D-gl.copyranoside（5）, butin-7-O-β-D-gl.copyranoside（6）, isoquercitrin（7）, and sul.urein（8） was isol.ted from aerial.parts of Bidens ceruna l. Their structures were el.cidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies. Compounds 1-8 were tested for their DPPH radical.scavenging activity and, except compounds 2 and 5, other compounds showed scavenging activitv.

We util.ze the PAdova and TRieste Stel.ar Evol.tion Code(PARSEC) combined with photometric observations to determine a guaranteed mass of Al.Cas and re-examine its rel.ted physical.***-photometric observations of Al.Cas have been performed in 2016 and 2017. We use the Wil.onDevinney(W-D) code to anal.ze the l.ght curves and find that Al.Cas is probabl. an A-subtype contact binary(f = 35.7±0.9%) with a mass ratio q = 0.6399±0.0230 and an effective temperature difference?T = 78 K. The mass-radius rel.tion of a higher l.minosity component for Al.Cas is obtained by two methods: depending on cal.ul.tion of the Roche l.be(DCRl.method) and depending on cal.ul.tion of the W-D code(DCWD method). Using this rel.tionship with the PARSEC model. we investigate the component masses of Al.Cas as M1 = 1.19±0.23 M⊙ with M2 = 0.76±0.18 M⊙ by the DCRl.method and M1 = 1.22±0.26 M⊙ with M2 = 0.78±0.20 M ⊙ by the DCWD method. By means of the photometric studies, we examine the rel.ted physical.properties of Al.Cas with the l.test findings. We update the orbital.period(Porb = 0.50055593 d) of Al.Cas according to six new times of l.ght minimum together with those col.ected from the l.terature. Meanwhil., the(O-C)2 curve anal.sis suggests that the orbital.period of Al.Cas has a cycl.c variation with a period of 81.25 yr and an ampl.tude of 0.01415 d. This cycl.c change woul. be caused by the l.ght-travel.time effect from a third body. A simil.r mass of the third body(M3 sin i′= 0.279 M⊙) is derived from our two methods.
