A Study on the Impact of Chemical Structure on the Evolution of Aggregate Structure in Fiber-shaped High Density Polyethylene Vitrimer

Vitrimers have emerged as a prominent research area in the field of polymer materials. Most of the studies have focused on synthesizing polymers with versatile dynamic crosslinking structures, while the impact of chemical structure on aggregate structure of vitrimers, particularly during polymer processing, remains insufficiently investigated. The present study employed commercial maleic anhydride-grafted-high density polyethylene (M-g-HDPE) as the matrix and hexanediol as the crosslinker to facilely obtain fiber-shaped HDPE vitrimers through a reaction extrusion and post-drawing process. Through chemical structure characterization, morphology observation, thermal and mechanical properties investigation, as well as aggregate structure analysis, this work revealed the influence of dynamic bonds on the formation of aggregate structures during fiber-shaped vitrimers processing. A small amount of dynamic bonds in HDPE restricts the motion of PE chain during melt-extruding and post-drawing, resulting in a lower orientation of the PE chains. However, lamellar growth and fibril formation during post-drawing at high temperature are enhanced to some extent due to the competition between dynamic bond and chain relaxation. Changes in protein abundance and reversible protein phosphorylation(RPP)play important roles in regulating hypometabolism but have never been documented in overwintering frogs at high *** test the hypothesis that protein abundance and phosphorylation change in response to winter hibernation,we conducted a comprehensive and quantitative proteomic and phosphoproteomic analysis of the liver of the Xizang plateau frog,Nanorana parkeri,living on the Qinghai-Xizang *** total,5170 proteins and 5695 phosphorylation sites in 1938 proteins were *** on proteomic analysis,674 differentially expressed proteins(438 up-regulated,236 down-regulated)were screened in hibernating *** versus summer *** enrichment analysis revealed that higher expressed proteins in winter were significantly enriched in immune-related signaling pathways,whereas lower expressed proteins were mainly involved in metabolic processes.A total of 4251 modified sites(4147 up-regulated,104 down-regulated)belonging to 1638 phosphoproteins(1555 up-regulated,83 down-regulated)were significantly changed in the *** hibernation,RPP regulated a diverse array of proteins involved in multiple functions,including metabolic enzymatic activity,ion transport,protein turnover,signal transduction,and alternative *** changes contribute to enhancing protection,suppressing energy-consuming processes,and inducing metabolic ***,the activities of phosphofructokinase,glutamate dehydrogenase,and ATPase were all significantly lower in winter compared to *** conclusion,our results support the hypothesis and demonstrate the importance of RPP as a regulatory mechanism when animals transition into a hypometabolic state.

AIM:To compare the three-dimensional choroidal vascularity index(CVI)and choroidal thickness between fellow eyes of acute primary angle-closure(F-APAC)and chronic primary angle-closure glaucoma(F-CPACG)and the eyes of normal ***:This study included 37 patients with unilateral APAC,37 with asymmetric CPACG without prior treatment,and 36 healthy *** swept-source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT),the macular and peripapillary choroidal thickness and three-dimensional CVI were measured and compared globally and ***’s correlation analysis and multivariate regression models were used to evaluate choroidal thickness or CVI with related ***:The mean subfoveal CVIs were 0.35±0.10,0.33±0.09,and 0.29±0.04,and the mean subfoveal choroidal thickness were 315.62±52.92,306.22±59.29,and 262.69±45.55μm in the F-APAC,F-CPACG,and normal groups,*** macular sectors showed significantly higher CVIs and choroidal thickness in the F-APAC and F-CPACG eyes than in the normal eyes(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences between the F-APAC and F-CPACG *** the peripapillary region,the mean overall CVIs were 0.21±0.08,0.20±0.08,and 0.19±0.05,and the mean overall choroidal thickness were 180.45±54.18,174.82±50.67,and 176.18±37.94μm in the F-APAC,F-CPACG,and normal groups,*** were no significant differences between any of the two groups in all peripapillary *** age,shorter axial length,and the F-APAC or F-CPACG diagnosis were significantly associated with higher subfoveal CVI and thicker subfoveal choroidal thickness(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The fellow eyes of unilateral APAC or asymmetric CPACG have higher macular CVI and choroidal thickness than those of the normal *** CVI nor choroidal thickness can distinguish between eyes predisposed to APAC or CPACG.A thicker choroid with a higher vascular volume may play a role in the pathogenesis of primary angle-closure glaucoma.

The spent lithium-ion batteries recovery has been brought into focus widely for its environmental imperatives and potential profits from the metal components,such as lithium,cobalt,nickel and ***,the weaker pollution and fewer profits of LiMn2O4cathode dispel the enthusiasm and responsibility of industry ***,a simplified and efncient method to regenerate the sodium-ion cathode materials and separate Li from spent LiMn2O4materials for the profit improvement is *** detail,adjusting the parameters of carbothermal reduction process appropriately,the LiMn2O4spinel structure is destroyed within a short period time and transformed into simple metal *** anticipated,nearly 95 wt.%lithium can be obtained and recovered during the water leaching,while 99 wt.% of manganese can be extracted in acid *** that the leaching residue can return to the carbothermic reduction,leading to a closed-loop economic recycling *** regenerated Na0.67Ni0.3Mn0.7O2cathode displays excellent electrochemical performance with superior cycling stability(the initial capacity reaches 95.9 mAh·g-1,and the retention rate reached 98.3% after 100 cycles at 1 C).The delicate strategy of sodium-ion cathode material regenerated from spent LiMn2O4aims to realize lithium separation and material utilization of manganese simultaneously,providing the instructive suggestion to rise up the recycling profits of spent batteries.

Background:Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a global health concern with the acid sphingomyelinase(ASM)/ceramide(CE)pathway and the NOD-like receptor family,pyrin domain-containing protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome identified as pivotal players in lipid disorders and *** study explores the interaction mechanism between the ASM/CE pathway and NLRP3 in NAFLD cell models,aiming to understand the impact of amitriptyline(Ami),an ASM inhibitor,on lipid deposition and hepatocyte injury by regulating the ASM/CE-NLRP3 ***:HepG2 and HL-7702 cells were exposed to free fatty acids(FFAs)to establish the NAFLD *** cells were divided into 5 groups:control group,model group,Ami group,tumor necrosis factoralpha(TNF-α)group,and Ami+TNF-α*** lipid droplets were visualized using Oil Red O staining,and Western blot analysis quantified ASM,NLRP3,and caspase 1 protein *** linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was measured CE and ASM levels,while qRT-PCR assessed mRNA *** apoptotic rate was evaluated by flow cytometry(FCM).Results:Following FFAs incubation,significant increases in ASM and CE levels were observed in HepG2 and HL-7702 cells,accompanied by elevated expression of NLRP3,and caspase 1,and IL-1β.TNF-αtreatment further amplified these *** demonstrated a reduction in lipid deposition,suppressed ASM/CE pathway activation,downregulated NLRP3 and caspase 1 expression,and improved ***,MCC950,a selective inhibitor of the NLRP3,mitigated NLRP3,caspase 1,and IL-1βexpression,alleviating lipid deposition and apoptosis in the NAFLD cell ***:The ASM/CE-NLRP3 pathway in NAFLD cells promotes hepatocyte steatosis,inflammation,and cell *** emerges as a promising therapeutic agent by inhibiting the ASM/CE-NLRP3 pathway,underscoring its potential as a key target for NAFLD treatment.

The treatment of PML/RARA+acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)with all-trans-retinoic acid and arsenic trioxide(ATRA/ATO)has been recognized as a model for translational medicine *** an altered microenvironment is a general cancer hallmark,how APL blasts shape their plasma composition is poorly ***,we reported a cross-sectional correlation network to interpret multilayered datasets on clinical parameters,proteomes,and metabolomes of paired plasma samples from patients with APL before or after ATRA/ATO induction *** study revealed the two prominent features of the APL plasma,suggesting a possible involvement of APL blasts in modulating plasma *** was characterized by altered secretory protein and metabolite profiles correlating with heightened proliferation and energy consumption in APL blasts,and the other featured APL plasma-enriched proteins or enzymes catalyzing plasma-altered metabolites that were potential trans-regulatory targets of PML/***,results indicated heightened interferon-gamma signaling characterizing a tumor-suppressing function of the immune system at the first hematological complete remission stage,which likely resulted from therapy-induced cell death or senescence and ensuing supraphysiological levels of intracellular ***,our work sheds new light on the pathophysiology and treatment of APL and provides an information-rich reference data cohort for the exploratory and translational study of leukemia microenvironment.

Molecular ferroelastics with the natural features of mechanical flexibility and switchable spontaneous strain have attracted widespread attention in the scientific community due to their potential applications in tunable gratings,flexible memorizers,strain sensors,and intelligent ***,most designs of molecular ferroelastics remain in the stage of blind exploration,posing a challenge to achieve a functional ferroelastic more ***,we have successfully obtained a molecular ferroelastic,[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2)(Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)=N,N-dimethylethylenediammonium),under the guidance of the mono-/double-protonation ***_double-protonated[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2) undergoes a paraelastic-ferroelastic phase transition with the Aizu notation of 2/mFi at 322 ***,the theoretical calculation and experimental measurement simultaneously show that[Me_(2)NH(CH_(2))_(2)NH_(3)](ReO_(4))_(2) possesses good mechanical flexibility,because its elastic modulus(E)of 8.26 GPa and hardness(H)of 0.45 GPa are smaller than the average values of organic crystals(E of 12.05 GPa and H of 0.5 GPa),which makes it promising to apply in wearable pressure sensors,implantable medical sensors,high-precision tuners,*** work further enriches the molecular ferroelastic family and demonstrates that mono-/double-protonation is one of the effective molecular modification strategies for designing ferroelastics.
