The practical application of high-energy-density lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries have been highly praised for energy storage devices,while are largely hindered by the“shuttling effect”.Herein,core-shell carbon spheres composed of interlinked porous core and lamellar shell were designed to restrain the polysulfide *** microporous structure with pore size of around 1 nm effectively trap lithium ***,the interconnected porous core shortens the ion transfer distance and the lamellar carbon shell endows the carbon spheres with fast electron conduction,finally facilitating polysulfide conversion ***,the Li-S batteries with the carbon spheres as the interlayer show high discharge specific capacity of 1002 m Ah/g at 2 C with 574 m Ah/g remaining after 600 cycles,and high areal capacity of 5.48 m Ah/cm^(2) with sulfur loading of 4.67 mg/cm^(2) at 0.1 *** corresponding pouch cells also exhibit stable cycling stability with an initial discharge specific capacity of 1082 m Ah/g at 0.1 C.

The choice of cathode and anode materials for electrochromic devices plays a key role in the performance of electrochromic smart *** this research,WO_(3)/Ag and TiO_(2)/NiO composite thin films were separately prepared by the hydrothermal method combined with *** electrochromic properties of the single WO_(3) thin film were optimized,and TiO_(2)/NiO composite films showed better electrochromic performance than that of the single NiO ***_(3)/Ag and TiO_(2)/NiO composite films with excellent electrochromic properties were respectively chosen as the cathode and the anode to construct a WO_(3)/Ag‒TiO_(2)/NiO electrochromic *** response time(tc=4.08 s,tb=1.08 s),optical modulation range(35.91%),and coloration efficiency(30.37 cm^(2)·C^(-1))of this electrochromic device are better than those of WO_(3)-NiO and WO_(3)/Ag-NiO electrochromic *** work provides a novel research idea for the performance enhancement of electrochromic smart windows.

To investigate the effects of drinking the soaking of Malus domeri(Bois)*** on gut microbiota and metabolites of long-living elderly individuals in Hezhou city,Guangxi,*** has been reported that longevity is closely related to metabolism and the gut *** 16S rRNA sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)were used to analysis fecal samples and explore the factors affecting longevity in the ***,we discovered,that elderly individuals who had been drinking the soaking of ***(Bois)*** for a long time exhibited higher diversity of the gut microbiota than without drinking the soaking,*** proportions of Ruminococcaceae and Prevotella were decreased in those who did not drink this *** addition,a total of 106 metabolites were characterized,and the people of long-lived people(>90 years old)and elderly people(<90 years old)who drinking soaking of ***(Bois)*** significantly altered the gut microbiota and upregulated levels of haplopine,farnesol,genipic acid,momordicinin,2-hydroxyestrone,hydroxyphenyllactic acid,caffeic acid,sophoraflavanone B,and soyasaponin *** preliminarily determined that ***(Bois)*** consumption may be an important factor affecting longevity in this area.

Accurate prediction of tropical cyclone(TC)intensity is challenging due to the complex physical processes ***,we introduce a new TC intensity prediction scheme for the western North Pacific(WNP)based on a time-dependent theory of TC intensification,termed the energetically based dynamical system(EBDS)model,together with the use of a long short-term memory(LSTM)neural *** time-dependent theory,TC intensity change is controlled by both the internal dynamics of the TC system and various environmental factors,expressed as environmental dynamical *** LSTM neural network is used to predict the environmental dynamical efficiency in the EBDS model trained using besttrack TC data and global reanalysis data during 1982–*** transfer learning and ensemble methods are used to retrain the scheme using the environmental factors predicted by the Global Forecast System(GFS)of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction during 2017–*** predicted environmental dynamical efficiency is finally iterated into the EBDS equations to predict TC *** new scheme is evaluated for TC intensity prediction using both reanalysis data and the GFS prediction *** intensity prediction by the new scheme shows better skill than the official prediction from the China Meteorological Administration(CMA)and those by other state-of-art statistical and dynamical forecast systems,except for the 72-h *** at the longer lead times of 96 h and 120 h,the new scheme has smaller forecast errors,with a more than 30%improvement over the official forecasts.

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)have attracted great interest due to their promising energy density and strong ***,the interface issues,including large interfacial resistance between electrode and electrolyte and low electrochemical stability of solid-state electrolytes against high-voltage cathodes,have restricted the development of high-voltage ***,we report an ASSLB with stable cycling by adopting a conformal polymer interlayer in-situ formed at the Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)–cathode *** polymer can perfectlyﬁll the voids and create a stable interface contact between LLZTO and *** addition,the electric field across the polymer interlayer is reduced compared with pure solid polymer electrolyte(SPE),which facilitates the electrochemical stability with high-voltage *** all-solid-state Li|LLZTO-SPE|LiFe_(0.4)Mn_(0.6)PO_(4)(LMFP)cells achieve a low interface impedance,high specific capacity,and excellent cycling *** work presents an effective and practical strategy to rationally design the electrode–electrolyte interface for the application of high-voltage ASSLBs.

The AA5052 aluminum alloy is widely used in automobile and aerospace manufacturing,and with the development of light-weight alloys,it is required that these materials exhibit better mechanical *** studies have demonstrated that the addition of Sc to aluminum alloys can improve both the microstructure and properties of the *** this study,the effect of Sc on the Fe-rich phase and properties of the AA5052 aluminum alloy was studied by adding 0%,0.05%,0.2%,and 0.3%*** results show that with the increase of Sc,the coarse needle-like Fe-rich phase gradually transforms into Chinese-script and then nearly spherical particles,reduce the size of Fe-rich phase,and refine the grain with increase of high angle grain boundaries(HAGBs).These microstructure changes enhance the strength of the AA5052 alloy through Sc *** ductility of the alloy is obviously improved because the addition of a lower amount of Sc changes the morphology of Fe-rich phase from needle-like into a Chinese-script,and it is subsequently reduced as a result of significant increase in HAGBs with increasing Sc content.

With the rise of probiotics fermentation in food industry,fermented foods have attracted worldwide *** this study,protective effects of Rosa roxburghii&edible fungus fermentation broth(REFB)on immune function and gut health in Cyclophosphamide induced immunosuppressed mice were *** showed that REFB could improve the immune organ index,and promote the proliferation and differentiation of splenic T *** addition,it attenuated intestinal mucosal damage and improved intestinal cellular *** administration also up-regulated the expression of IL-4,INF-γ,TNF-α,T-bet and GATA-3 mRNA in small ***,administration of REFB modulated gut microbiota composition and increased the relative abundance of beneficial genus,such as *** also increased the production of fecal short-chain fatty *** indicate that REFB has the potential to improve immunity,alleviate intestinal injury and regulate gut microbiota in immunosuppressed mice.

Changes in olfactory function are considered to be early biomarkers of Parkinson’s *** dysfunction is one of the earliest non-motor features of Parkinson’s disease,appearing in about 90%of patients with early-stage Parkinson’s disease,and can often predate the diagnosis by ***,olfactory dysfunction should be considered a reliable marker of the ***,the mechanisms responsible for olfactory dysfunction are currently *** this article,we clearly explain the pathology and medical definition of olfactory function as a biomarker for early-stage Parkinson’s *** the basis of the findings of clinical olfactory function tests and animal model experiments as well as neurotransmitter expression levels,we further characterize the relationship between olfactory dysfunction and neurodegenerative diseases as well as the molecular mechanisms underlying olfactory dysfunction in the pathology of early-stage Parkinson’s *** findings highlighted in this review suggest that olfactory dysfunction is an important biomarker for preclinical-stage Parkinson’s ***,therapeutic drugs targeting non-motor symptoms such as olfactory dysfunction in the early stage of Parkinson’s disease may prevent or delay dopaminergic neurodegeneration and reduce motor symptoms,highlighting the potential of identifying effective targets for treating Parkinson’s disease by inhibiting the deterioration of olfactory dysfunction.

lncRNA ZNF593 antisense(ZNF593-AS)transcripts have been implicated in heart failure through the regulation of myocardial *** decreased transcriptional activity of ZNF593-AS has also been detected in cardiac ***,the function of ZNF593-AS in cardiac hypertrophy remains ***,we report that the expression of ZNF593-AS reduced in a mouse model of left ventricular hypertrophy and cardiomyocytes in response to treatment with the hypertrophic agonist phenylephrine(PE).In vivo,ZNF593-AS aggravated pressure overload–induced cardiac hypertrophy in knockout *** contrast,cardiomyocyte-specific transgenic mice(ZNF593-AS MHC-Tg)exhibited attenuated TAC-induced cardiac *** vitro,vector-based overexpression using murine or human ZNF593-AS alleviated PE-induced myocyte hypertrophy,whereas GapmeR-induced inhibition aggravated hypertrophic *** using RNA-seq and gene set enrichment analyses,we identified a link between ZNF593-AS and oxidative phosphorylation and found that mitofusin 2(Mfn2)is a direct target of ***593-AS exerts an antihypertrophic effect by upregulating Mfn2 expression and improving mitochondrial ***,it represents a promising therapeutic target for combating pathological cardiac remodeling.
