Comparative Analysis of Internal and External-Hex Crow. Connection Systems - A Finite Element Study

The abutment connection w.th the crow. is fundamental to the structural stability of the implant system and to the prevention of mechanical exertion that can compromise the success of the implant treatment. The aim of this study is to clarify the difference in the stress distribution patterns betw.en implants w.th internal and external-hex connections w.th the crow. using the Finite Element Method (FEM). Material and Methods: The internal and external-hex connections of the Neoss and 3i implant systems respectively, are considered. The geometrical properties of the implant systems are modeled using three-dimensional (3D) brick elements. Loading conditions include a masticatory force of 200, 500 and 1000N applied to the occlusal surface of the crow. along w.th an abutment screw.torque of 110, 320 and 550Nmm. The von Mises stress distributions in the crow. are examined for all loading conditions. Assumptions made in the modeling include: 1. half of the implant system is modeled and symmetrical boundary conditions applied;2. temperature sensitive elements are used to replicate the torque w.thin the abutment screw. Results: The connection type strongly influences the resulting stress characteristics w.thin the crow.. The magnitude of stress produced by the internal-hex implant system is generally low.r than that of the external-hex system. The internal-hex system held an advantage by including the use of an abutment betw.en the abutment screw.and the crow.. Conclusions: The geometrical design of the external-hex system tends to induce stress concentrations in the crow. at a distance of 2.89mm from the apex. At this location the torque applied to the abutment screw.also affects the stresses, so that the compressive stresses on the right hand side of the crow. are increased. The internal-hex system has reduced stress concentrations in the crow.. Microbial responses to combined oxidation and catalysis treatment of 1,4-dioxane and co-contaminants in groundw.ter and soil

Post-treatment impacts of a novel combined hydrogen peroxide(H2O_(2))oxidation and w.x/ZrO_(2) catalysis used for the removal of 1,4-dioxane and chlorinated volatile organic compound(CVOC)contaminants w.re investigated in soil and groundw.ter microbial *** treatment train removed~90%1,4-dioxane regardless of initial concentrations of 1,4-dioxane and *** Illumina Miseq platform and bioinformatics w.re used to study the changes to microbial community *** approach determined that dynamic shifts of microbiomes w.re associated w.th conditions specific to treatments as w.ll as 1,4-dioxane and CVOCs *** biodiversity w.s observed to decrease only after oxidation under conditions that included high levels of 1,4-dioxane and CVOCs,but increased w.en 1,4-dioxane w.s present w.thout ***_(x)/ZrO_(2) catalysis reduced biodiversity across all *** classification demonstrated oxidative tolerance for members of the genera Massilia and Rhodococcus,w.ile catalyst tolerance w.s observed for members of the genera Sphingomonas and *** discriminant analysis effect size w.s a useful statistical tool to highlight representative microbes,w.ile the multidimensional analysis elucidated the separation of microbiomes under the low.1,4-dioxane-only condition from all other conditions containing CVOCs,as w.ll as the differences of microbial population among original,post-oxidation,and post-catalysis *** results of this study enhance our understanding of microbial community responses to a promising chemical treatment train,and the metagenomic analysis w.ll help practitioners predict the microbial community status during the post-treatment period,w.ich may have consequences for long-term management strategies that include additional biodegradation treatment or natural attenuation.

用配备荧光检测器的反相高压液相色谱仪测定人牙和牙周组织标本中胶原分子间交联物—吡啶灵和脱氧吡啶灵,测量结果以pmol/mg干重表示。结果表明,在同一个体中硬组织的P含量是软组织含量的2～10倍,硬组织DP含量是软组织含量的4～17倍。硬组织的P/DP比率分别为2:1(牙槽骨)、6:1(牙本质)、7:1(牙骨质),而软组织的P/DP比率较高,分别为9:1(牙周韧带)、12:1(牙龈)。
