Exosomes,small tiny vesicle contains a large number of intracellular particles that employ to cause various diseases and prevent several pathological events as well in the human *** is considered a“double-edged sword”,and depending on its biological source,the action of exosomes varies under physiological ***,the isolation and characterization of the exosomes should be performed accurately and the methodology also will vary depending on the exosome ***,the uptake of exosomes from the recipients’cells is a vital and initial step for all the physiological *** are different mechanisms present in the exosomes’cellular uptake to deliver their cargo to acceptor *** the exosomal uptake takes place,it releases the intracellular particles that leads to activate the physiological *** though exosomes have lavish functions,there are some challenges associated with every step of their preparation to bring potential therapeutic ***,overcoming the pitfalls would give a desired quantity of exosomes with high purity.

cerebrovascular disease of genetic origin characterized by abnormally dilated capillaries and a wide spectrum of symptoms,including headaches,seizures,neurological deficits,and intracerebral *** unpredictable clinical course and the current lack of therapies make the identification of prognostic and predictive biomarkers an imperative research challenge.1 Herein,we provide evidence that galectin-3(Gal-3),a major tissue and circulating biomarker of oxidative stress and inflammation,is significantly up-regulated both in CCm patients and ***,wholetranscriptome sequencing,qRT-PCR,and Western blotting studies demonstrated a significant up-regulation of Gal-3 expression levels both in surgical CCm specimens and in blood samples of CCm patients.

In the current study,an as-cast 26%Cr high chromium cast iron(HCCI)alloy was subjected to dry-sliding linear wear tests,under different *** loads were selected based on analytically computing the critical load(PC)i.e.,the load necessary to induce plastic *** PC was calculated to be 15 N and accordingly,a sub-critical load(5 N)and an over-critical load(20 N)were *** influence of increasing the load during the wear test was investigated in terms of the matrix microstructural behaviour and its ability to support the surrounding *** morphological aspects of the wear tracks,and the deformed matrix microstructure adjacent and underneath the track was analysed by confocal laser scanning microscope(CLSm)and scanning electron microscope(SEm),*** evidence of plastic deformation of the matrix was observed below *** the contrary,at loads equal to and higher than PC,the austenitic matrix plastically deformed as evidenced by the presence of slip *** backscattered diffraction(EBSD)measurements in terms of grain reference orientation deviation,and micro-Vickers hardness of the austenitic matrix indicated a deformation depth of about 40μm at the maximum applied load of 20 *** active wear mechanisms during sliding were a combination of both adhesive and abrasive wear,although increasing the load shifted the dominant mechanism towards *** was primarily attributable to the increased propensity for carbide cracking and fracturing,combined with the inability of the hardened austenitic matrix surface and sub-surface to adequately support the broken carbide ***,the shift in the dominant wear mechanism was also reflected in the wear volume and subsequently,the wear rate.

Preparation of Sm2O3 and Co3O4 from SmCo magnet swarf by hydrometallurgical processing in chloride media

The recycling of rare earth elements（REE） from end-of-life REE based products is an environment friendly proposition. Waste Sm-Co based permanent magnet generated during machining is a good source for both Sm and Co. In the present study a simpler process of acid leaching at 80 ℃ followed by solvent extraction, oxalate precipitation and calcination is described for producing pure Sm2 O3 and Co3 O4. With either 10 vol% H2SO4 or 15 vol% HCI at 80 ℃ more than 95% Sm and Co are leached in 1 *** of Sm from sulphate leach liquor with TBP or Aliquat 336 was poor. Although extraction with TOPS-99 is quantitative but Sm from sulphate leach liquor precipitated as Sm2（SO4）3·8 H2O. The chloride leach liquor at an initial pH of 2.5 and with 1.2 mol/L TOPS-99 shows requirement of 4-stages at A：O = 3：2. Stripping with oxalic acid precipitates Sm-oxalate which is calcined at 800 ℃ to produce Sm2 O3. Co3 O4 is recovered from the raffinate through oxalate precipitation followed by calcination at450℃.

The cross sections of the^(121)Sb(n,2n)^(120)Sb^(m) and ^(123)Sb(n,2n)^(122)Sb reactions were measured at 12.50,15.79 and 18.87 meV neutron energies relative to the standard ^(27)Al(n,α)^(24)Na monitor reaction using neutron activation and offline γ-ray *** of the samples was performed at the BARC-TIFR Pelletron Linac Facility,mumbai,*** quasi-monoenergetic neutrons were generated via the ^(7)Li(p,n)*** model calculations were performed by nuclear reaction codes TALYS(ver.1.9)and EmPIRE(ver.3.2.2)using various input parameters and nuclear level density *** cross sections of the ground and the isomeric state as well as the isomeric cross section ratio were studied theoretically from reaction threshold to 26 meV *** effect of pre-equilibrium emission is also discussed in detail using different theoretical *** present measured cross sections were discussed and compared with the reported experimental data and evaluation data of the JEFF-3.3,ENDF/B-VIII.0,JENDL/AD-2017 and TENDL-2019 libraries.A detailed analysis of the uncertainties in the measured cross section data was performed using the covariance analysis ***,a systematic study of the(n,2n)reaction cross section for^(121)Sb and^(123)Sb isotopes was also performed within 14-15 meV neutron energies using various systematic *** work helps to overcome discrepancies in Sb data and illustrate a better understanding of pre-equilibrium emission in the(n,2n)reaction channel.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

An earthquake called the mW7.2“El mayor Cucapah”earthquake on April 4,2010 has been analyzed for seismic *** changes in the lineament system concerning its pattern and time intervals were analyzed during the earthquake preparation period and occurrence using the automated lineament detection *** Landsat 5 Tm images were processed using LESSA and ADALGEO software obtaining similar *** statistical analysis revealed the stress accumulation due to plate interaction during earthquake *** study shows that the number of extracted lineaments changes rapidly about 23 months before the earthquake,and the systems return to the initial stage after 23 *** lineaments coincide with the extension of the San Andreas Fault as NW direction is the dominant ***,it can be concluded that the featural changes within the Rose diagram corresponding to the different strokes direction along with oriented elongation lines as disclosed in the present study using satellite images could be identified as a mid-term and/or short-term precursors of the ***,even though the dynamism of the El mayor Cucapah earthquake is found in the extracted lineaments,it is possible to isolate more significant earthquakes even if new ones appear near the ***,using two algorithms for lineament detection allows for the tectonics to corroborate the obtained lineaments and dynamism.

A numerical simulation is presented to investigate the effect of an exponentially varying magnetic field on three dimensional flow of Zinc Oxide-Society of Automotive Engineers 50 nanolubricant(ZnO-SAE50nano-lubricant)past a stretching *** the impact of homogenous and heterogeneous reactions on the flow of nanolubricant concerned has also taken into *** study has been strengthened by introducing the convection mechanism and the effect of thermal *** transformations are employed to transform the set of partial governing equations into the set of ordinary differential *** suitable boundary conditions are used to obtain the numerical *** numerical results are simulated using matlab bvp4c solver and validated with the existing *** flow characteristics,thermal characteristics,nanoparticle concentration and some non-dimensional numbers are computed under the influence of the pertinent *** valuable outcome of the current study is that augmented magnetic field strength is the root cause of diminishing axial as well as transverse velocities and growing trend of fluid ***,the coeffi-cients of homogenous and heterogeneous reactions are boons for ascending concentration boundary layer.

Serum Lp(a) levels in patients with liver disease

Objective:The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of liver diseases on serum Lp(a) levels and also to study the relationship between Lp(a) levels with other lipid parameters and liver function tests in 32 hyperbilirubinemia patients with total bilirubin>3mg/*** results were compared with 20 healthy age matched individuals. methods:Serum obtained from venous blood sample are used for estimating total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c ), very low density lipoprotein cholesterol(VLDL-c),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),total bilirubin,direct bilirubin,aspartate amino tranferase(AST),alanine amino transferase(ALT),alkaline phosphatase(ALP), gamma glutamyl transferase(GGT),lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)],serum ***:There was significant decrease in serum Lp(a) levels in liver disease patients and the decrease was direcdy correlated with reduced serum albumin levels and inversely with liver function ***:Thus the present study indicates hepatic synthetic damage has possible biochemical basis for the reduction of serum Lp(a)
