Surface thiolates play important roles in evincing the structures and properties of thiolated metal nanoclusters—one type of recently emerging inorganic-organic hybrids,and thus the thiolate substitution,especially single thiolate substitution,is highly desirable for subtly tailoring the structures and properties of metal ***,such a single-thiolate substituting is challenging,and its influence on the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bonds remains mysterious due to the absence of the singlethiolate-substituted ***,we developed a combined method,concurrently synthesized the single-thiolate-substituted nanocluster and its parent nanocluster,and successfully resolved their structures by single crystal x-ray crystallography,which reveals that the single thiolate substitute has an obvious influence on the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bond lengths although it has no effect on the absorption ***,the metal-metal and metal-sulfur bonds show various thermal extensibility and even the negative thermal expansion phenomena of the Au–S bond were observed in the single-thiolate-substituted *** bond length-related stability was also ***,this study highlights a novel synthesis method and offers novel structural insights and an in-depth structure-property correlation of thiolated metal nanoclusters.

N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)has been established as the most prevalent chemical modification in message RNA(mRNA),playing an essential role in determining the fate of RNA *** of m^(6)A has been revealed to lead to abnormal physiological conditions and cause various types of human *** studies have delineated the genetic regulatory maps for m^(6)A methylation by mapping the quantitative trait loci of m^(6)A(m^(6)A-QTLs),thereby building up the regulatory circuits linking genetic variants,m^(6)A,and human complex ***,we review the recent discoveries concerning the genetic regulatory maps of m^(6)A,describing the methodological and technical details of m^(6)A-QTL identification,and introducing the key findings of the cis-and trans-acting drivers of m^(6)*** further delve into the tissue-and ethnicity-specificity of m^(6)A-QTL,the association with other molecular phenotypes in light of genetic regulation,the regulators underlying m^(6)A genetics,and importantly,the functional roles of m^(6)A in mediating human complex ***,we discuss potential research avenues that can accelerate the translation of m^(6)A genetics studies toward the development of therapies for human genetic diseases.

The design and synthesis of catalysts for the oxidation desulfurization and production of hydrogen are extremely important for solving environmental pollution and energy ***,a novel bifunctional [α-Mo_(8)O_(26)]^(4-)/[β-Mo_(8)O_(26)]^(4-)-based Cu-viologen complex H_(4)[Cu_(2)~ⅠCl_(2)(Hbcbpy)_(4)] [α-Mo_(8)O_(26)] [β-Mo8O_(26)]·H_(2)O(BHU-2,Hbcbpy=1-(4-carboxybenzyl)-4,4'-bipyridinium) was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal x-ray diffraction(xRD),infrared radiation spectra,powder x-ray diffraction(PxRD) and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(xPS) *** structural characteristic of BHU-2 is the presence of two types of octamolybdate clusters [α-Mo_(8)O_(26)]^(4-)/[β-Mo_(8)O_(26)]^(4-)and a new binuclear Cu~Ⅰ-Hbcbpy complex linked by Cl-bridges[Cu_(2)ⅠCl_(2)(Hbcbpy)_(4)]^(4+).BHU-2 as a heterogeneous catalyst exhibits excellent activities to the oxidation desulfurization and photocatalytic hydrogen *** room temperature,BHU-2 can catalyze 96% conversion of methyl phenyl sulfide with 98% selectivity,and the process obeys the pseudo-first-order reaction kinetic with the half-life of9.6 *** notorious 2-chloroethyl ethyl sulfide can achieve 99% conversion with 98% selectivity within only1 min at the presence of BHU-2,and the turnover frequency(TOF) is up to 7400 h^(-1).BHU-2 also exhibits high catalytic activity for the oxidation of other aromatic and aliphatic thioethers within short time at room ***,BHU-2 shows a high catalytic activity for visible-light-driven hydrogen evolution with an H_(2) evolution rate of 1677.85 μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1) within 10 ***,the catalytic activities do not decrease evidently after three cycles,revealing the prominent structural stability and recyclability.

Polyester Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(Polyester GFRP),a thermosetting plastic comprised of glass fiber and polyester polymer compounds,is extensively utilized in high-speed *** its pyrolysis mechanism is crucial as it significantly influences the combustion characteristics and fire safety ***,kinetic research on polyester GFRP primarily focuses on employing the Coats-Redfern method to derive a theoretical kinetic ***,the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is complex and the aforementioned theoretical model fails to accurately describe the pyrolysis ***,this study seeks to utilize the Sestak and Berggren(SB) model as a methodological approach to reveal the complex reaction mechanism during the pyrolysis *** on thermogravimetric analysis,the entire pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP is divided into two primary ***,model-free methods are employed to ascertain the activation energy and pre-exponential *** results show that the fitted empirical models of the two main pyrolysis stages are f(α)=(1-α)^(1.47)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.50) and f(α)=(1-α)^(1.77)[-ln(1-α)]^(1.72),*** predicted results are in good agreement with experimental data under different heating rates,which indicates that the empirical model can sufficiently describe the pyrolysis process of polyester GFRP.

The productivity of the chrome-containing semi-steel converter smelting process is directly affected by the slag-forming speed during the converter preliminary *** effects of Cr_(2)O_(3) content on the physicochemical properties of the CaO-SiO_(2)-Fe_(t)O-MgO system,such as melting temperature,solidification behavior,mineral composition,and lime dissolution rate,were *** results showed that the slag was an amorphous phase at 1500℃.When Cr_(2)O_(3) was added,Ca(Fe,Mg)Si_(2)O_(6) and spinel were formed in the *** the increase in Cr_(2)O_(3) content,the amount of spinel precipitation increased,and the dendritic FegO_(4) crystal gradually changed into the granular(Fe,Mg)(Fe,Cr)2O_(4) *** the Cr_(2)O_(3) content increased from O to 2.91 wt.%,the melting temperature of the slag rose,and the melting range of the slag expanded slightly,but the lime dissolution rate did not *** the Cr_(2)O_(3) content further increased to 9.09 wt.%,the melting temperature continued to rise,the melting range rapidly expanded,and the lime dissolution rate decreased.
