The unprecedented liquefaction-related land damage during earthquakes has highlighted the need to develop a model that better interprets the liquefaction land damage vulnerability(LLDV)when determining whether liquefaction is likely to cause damage at the ground's *** paper presents the development of a novel comprehensive framework based on select case history records of cone penetration tests using a Bayesian belief network(BBN)methodology to assess seismic soil liquefaction and liquefaction land damage potentials in one *** BBN-based LLDV model is developed by integrating multi-related factors of seismic soil liquefaction and its induced hazards using a machine learming(ML)algorithm-K2 and domain knowledge(DK)data fusion *** with the C4.5 decision tree-J48 model,naive Bayesian(NB)classifier,and BBN-K2 ML prediction methods in terms of overall accuracy and the Cohen's kappa coefficient,the proposed BBN K2 and DK model has a better performance and provides a substitutive novel LLDV framework for characterizing the vulnerability of land to liquefaction-induced *** proposed model not only predicts quantitatively the seismic soil liquefaction potential and its ground damage potential probability but can also identify the main reasons and fault-finding state combinations,and the results are likely to assist in decisions on seismic risk mitigation measures for sustainable *** proposed model is simple to perform in practice and provides a step toward a more sophisticated liquefaction risk assessment *** study also interprets the BBN model sensitivity analysis and most probable explanation of seismic soil liquefed sites based on an engineering point of view.

Dual-phase high-entropy alloys containing facecentered cubic(fcc) and body-centered cubic(bcc) phases achieve a combination of high strength and high ductility,which attract extensive *** with singlephase high-entropy alloys,the dual-phase structure generates more complex deformation mechanisms such as structural transformation and interactions between grain boundaries and dislocations during *** order to understand the structural transformation of the dual-phase high-entropy alloy during deformation and its effect on mechanical properties,Al_(0.5)CoCrNiFe high-entropy alloy was prepared and its deformation mechanism was investigated by molecular dynamics simulations combined with *** results show that phase transformation occurred during deformation,and dislocation slip was the main deformation *** addition,there was significant dislocation pile-up at the interface between fcc and bcc phases after tensile *** and strain rates significantly affected the mechanical properties and deformation behavior of high-entropy *** low temperature and high strain rate,the dislocation density of the alloy increases after stretching,resulting in the enhancement of tensile strength.

背景:压电材料可通过催化作用产生活性氧,通过多种途径来破坏细菌,而且不会导致细菌产生耐药性。这种不依赖抗生素的抗菌方式具有明显的优势,可以对细菌进行无差别的杀伤,为今后的抗菌策略提供了一种新思路。目的:文章主要总结了有关压电材料特性与抗菌机制,并讨论了部分压电材料在抗菌领域的研究现状。方法:在Pub Med、Web of Science、中国知网和万方数据库中,以“压电材料,压电催化,活性氧,抗菌,细菌感染,抗感染,耐药性”为中文检索词,以“piezoelectric materials,piezoelectricity,piezoelectric catalysis,piezocatalysis,reactive oxygen species,ROS,bacterial infection,antibacterial strategies,anti-infection,drug resistance,drug-resistant bacteria”为英文检索词。检索时间范围重点为2013年1月至2023年12月,通过阅读文题和摘要进行初步筛选;排除中英文重复性研究及内容不相关的文献,经文献质量评价后,最后纳入68篇文献进行综述。结果与结论:(1)压电材料是一类性质稳定的环境友好型材料,其大多数具有良好的生物相容性。(2)压电材料在压电效应过程中可催化产生大量活性氧,活性氧可通过细胞外氧化和细胞内氧化,破坏细菌的细胞膜、胞内蛋白质、酶以及核酸等物质,影响细菌的结构和功能,甚至导致细菌死亡从而实现抗菌。抗菌性能与催化生成活性氧速率相关,而催化速率与材料体系、形貌及外界条件等多种因素相关。(3)压电催化产生的活性氧对细菌不具备选择性,因此表现出广谱抗菌性,且这种抗菌方式不需要依赖抗菌药物,故不会引起细菌耐药性问题。(4)结合超声波无创、可控性与穿透性强等优点,未来压电材料作为耐药菌感染的辅助或替代治疗等具有重要价值和巨大潜力。(5)目前压电材料催化效率低下的难题限制了其在抗菌领域的应用,如何提高压电催化效率成为了学者们关注的焦点。

Application of machine learning algorithms for the evaluation of seismic soil liquefaction potential

This study investigates the performance of four machine learning(ML)algorithms to evaluate the earthquake-induced liquefaction potential of soil based on the cone penetration test field case history records using the Bayesian belief network(BBN)learning software *** BBN structures that were developed by ML algorithms-K2,hill climbing(HC),tree augmented naive(TAN)Bayes,and Tabu search were adopted to perform parameter learning in Netica,thereby fixing the BBN *** performance measure indexes,namely,overall accuracy(OA),precision,recall,F-measure,and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve,were used to evaluate the training and testing BBN models’performance and highlight the capability of the K2 and TAN Bayes models over the Tabu search and HC *** sensitivity analysis results showed that the cone tip resistance and vertical effective stress are the most sensitive factors,whereas the mean grain size is the least sensitive factor in the prediction of seismic soil liquefaction *** results of this study can provide theoretical support for researchers in selecting appropriate ML algorithms and improving the predictive performance of seismic soil liquefaction potential models.

In order to analyze the connection between the railway subgrade frost heave deformation and temperature variation, five GPS stations＇ data were used to monitor the deformation on a certain section of railway subgrade in northeast China. GAMIT software is used to process the data, providing daily solution, daytime solution and nighttime solution. Vertical trends of these five stations were analyzed to investigate frost heave effect on railway subgrade deformation. The results show that the temperature difference between daytime and night induces stations, significant vertical displacement, and the temperature difference between seasons causes settlement of station which appears linear trend.

Gridded inventories of historical usage for selected organochlorine pesticides in Heilongjiang River Basin, China

The use of technical HCH （1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6-hexachlorocyclohexane）, DDT （dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane） and lindane in Heilongjiang River Basin （HRB） of China was studied. Between 1952 and 1984 the total usage in the HRB was 108900 t for technical HCH, and 4900 t for DDT, respectively, and the use of DDT due to dicofol application in the HRB was 220 t from 1984 to 2003. The usage of lindane in HRB was 109 t from 1991 to 2000. The results show that the highest technical HCH use （41800 t） in HRB was on maize, accounting for 38.3% of the total usage on all crops, followed by the use on wheat （28000 t, 25.7%） and on soybean （26600 t, 24.4%）. The highest DDT use （2300 t） was on soybean, accounting for 46.8% of the total usage on all crops, followed by the use on maize （1500 t, 31.3%） and on sorghum （600 t, 13.2%）. The major use of lindane was mainly on wheat. Gridded usage inventories of these three OCPs （organochlorine pesticides）, in HRB with a 1/6° latitude by 1/4° longitude resolution have been created by using different gridded cropland as surrogates. Some soil samples have also been collected in HRB. Data of usage and soil concentrations of 5： HCH in HRB match quite well to those in Shanghai region, and much higher soil concentration of 5： DDT in Shanghai region could be due to much heavier dicofol use in this region.

Semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes(s-SWCNTs)are fascinating materials for future electronic and optical *** polymer wrapping is one of the most promising methods for mass production of high purity ***,its chiral selectivity is relatively inferior to other s-SWCNT production *** this paper,the chiral selectivity of two polymers,poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt-co-(6,6′-{2,2′-bipyridine})](PFO-BPy)and poly[9-(1-octylonoyl)-9H-carbazole-2,7-diyl](PCz),which are representatives of widely used polyfluorene and polycarbazole families,respectively,were comparatively *** polymers exhibited high selectivity for a subset of existing chiral species in each of the commercially available raw SWCNT materials(CoMoCAT,HiPco,and arc-discharge)which cover a diameter range of 0.6–1.8 *** chiral species were selected by PFO-BPy from small diameter(1.2 nm)raw *** chiral purity(6,5)(>99%)and(7,5)(>75%)solutions were extracted by PFO-BPy and PCz from CoMoCAT materials,*** different chiral angle and diameter selections for different raw materials by both polymers were ascribed to their different geometrical structures and related polymer-tube *** work provides indispensable information for better understanding the mechanism of polymer wrapping method and improving extraction of single chirality sSWCNTs.

More studies have indicated that polysaccharide sulfate has anti-coagulant ***,heparin is the most popular anticoagulant used in clinic,however,its side effects have also caused highly *** is still under intensive investigations to synthesize effective safe polysaccharide sulfate as heparin *** extracted water-soluble polysaccharide from fermented mycelium of edible polyporus albicans（Imaz.） teng,and got the water-soluble polyporus albicans teng sulfate（PATS） by modifying the water-solubility polyose with the method of chlorosulfonic *** anti-coagulant assay of PATS in vitro towards normal human plasma indicates its remarkable anticoagulant activity,while the dose could be as low as 5 mg/L for *** anti-coagulant effect was equivalent to that of heparin about 150 U when the concentration of PATS was 10 mg/*** study on anti-coagulation mechanism suggests that PATS got involved in the intrinsic *** anti-coagulation activity of PATS was due to the inhibition of the coagulation factors IIa and Xa activities mediated by antithrombin Ⅲ（ATIII）.The anti-coagulation mechanism of PATS is absolutely identical to that of *** conclusion,we suggest that PATS has the similar anti-coagulation characteristic to heparin,but with a better anti-coagulation ***,derived from edible fungus-polysaccharide,PATS has more bio-safety ***,PATS has promising future to be developed and used as an ideal substitute for heparin in clinic.
