An Intelligent Approach for Accurate Prediction of Chronic Diseases

Around the globe,chronic diseases pose a serious hazard to healthcare *** majority of the deaths are due to chronic diseases,and it causes burdens across the *** analyzing healthcare data and extracting patterns healthcare administrators,victims,and healthcare communities will get an advantage if the diseases are early *** majority of the existing works focused on increasing the accuracy of the techniques but didn’t concentrate on other performance ***,the proposed work improves the early detection of chronic disease and safeguards the lives of the patients by increasing the specificity and sensitivity of the classifiers along with the *** proposed work used a hybrid optimization algorithm called the Hybrid Gravitational Search algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(HGSAPSO)to upgrade the detection of chronic *** classifier parameters with their optimized parameters are compared and *** such as Artificial neural network(Ann),Support Vector Machines(SVM),K-nearest neighbor(Knn),and Decision tree(DT)are *** care data are obtained from the UCI machine learning repository to evaluate the proposed *** proposed work is assessed on 6 benchmark datasets and the performance metrics such as Accuracy,Specificity,Sensitivity,F-measure,Recall,and Precision are *** experimental results exhibit that the proposed work attains better accuracy on Artificial neural network-Hybrid Gravitational Search algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm(Ann-HGSAPSO)classifier compared to other ***-HGSAPSO provides 93%accuracy for Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD),Cardio Vascular Disease(CVD)96%,Diabetes 82%,Hepatitis 94%,Wisconsin Breast Cancer(WBC)91%,and for Liver disease dataset 96%.

The rapid degradation of Mg alloy was reduced by incorporating titanate on a fluorine-based anodized *** coating shows(i)excellent biomineralization ability,(ii)improved local and periodical corrosion behavior and(iii)enhanced expression of osteogenic factors(Runx2,Col 1,OCn and OPn)along with(iv)the antibacterial *** fluoride and magnesium ions dissolution from the anodized layer is responsible for the better expression of osteogenic factors and antibacterial *** preparation of the titanate incorporated anodized Mg alloy(Ti-AMg)is a facile solution to overcome the implant-associated bacterial infections with required biological functions including progression of bone ingrowth and biocompatibility.

Effects of space and temperature dependent internal heat generation/absorption on MHD flow of a nanofluid over a stretching sheet

In this paper we analyzed the effects of space and temperature dependent intemal heat generation/absorption （non-uniform heat source/sink） on magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow of water based nanofluid over a stretching sheet with different nanoparticles. The flow is generated due to linear stretching of the sheet and influenced by uniform magnetic field, which is applied normally to the stretching sheet. A scaling group of transformation is used to reduce the governing momentum and energy equations into non-linear ordinary differential equations. The resulting differential equations are solved analytically using hypergeometric functions and numerically by the fourth order Runge-Kutta method with shooting technique. The influence of nanoparticle volume fraction, magnetic field, Prandtl number, non uniform heat source/sink, local skin friction coefficient and reduced nusselt number are investigated for different nanoparticles.

A comparison of the quality of life of parents of children using hearing aids and those using cochlear implants

Objective:The goal of this study was to evaluate the quality of life of parents of children who use hearing aids(HA)with those who use cochlear implants(CI)in the Indian context and document any differences ***:The Kannada version of the AQoL-4D was administered in a modified fashion to 131 parents(87 HA and 44 CI).Sociodemographic details were collected for supplemental information on the intervention strategy ***:A total of 49 parents(29 HA and 20 CI)responded to the questionnaire *** mean total scores for both the groups were similar(HA group=17.9(SD=5.5),CI group=17.2(SD=3.4)),as was the score for the first subscale(HA group=8.6(SD=2.9);CI group=8.5(SD=2.6))of the *** significant differences were found between the two groups on either scores[Total Score:U(n_(HA)=29,nCI=20)=280.5,z=0.194,p>0.05;Subscale 1 Score:U(n_(HA)=29,nCI=20)=281.5,z=-0.176,p>0.05].The degree of hearing loss in the hearing aid group was equivalent to that of the cochlear implant group but this did not appear to influence parental quality of ***:Parents of children with hearing aids and cochlear implants appear to be similar on several psychosocial factors in the realms of functional,social,and psychological *** terms of parental quality of life,hearing aids and cochlear implants appear to be equally effective intervention techniques.

Meteorite impact craters as hotspots for mineral resources and energy fuels:A global review

The ever-increasing recovery rate of natural resources from terrestrial impact craters over the last fewdecades across the globe offers new avenues for further exploration of mineral and hydrocarbon resources in such *** of today,60 of the 208 terrestrial craters have been identified to host diverseresources such as hydrocarbons,metals and construction *** potential of craters as plausibleresource contributors to the energy sector is therefore,worthy of consideration,as 42(70%)of the 60craters host energy resources such as oil,gas,coal,uranium,mercury,critical and major minerals as wellas hydropower *** others,19 craters are of well-developed hydrocarbon *** associated with craters are also classified similar to other mineral resources such as progenetic,syngenetic and epigenetic *** these,the progenetic and syngenetic mineralization are confinedto the early and late excavation stage of impact crater evolution,respectively,whereas epigenetic deposits are formed during and after the modification stage of crater ***,progenetic andsyngenetic mineral deposits(like Fe,ni,Pb,Zn and Cu)associated with craters are formed as a directresult of the impact event,whereas epigenetic deposits(***)are hosted by the impactstructure and result from post-impact *** the progenetic and syngenetic deposits,the shockwave induced fracturing and melting aid the formation of deposits,whereas in the epigenetic deposits,the highly fractured lithostratigraphic units of higher porosity and permeability,like the centralelevated area(CEA)or the rim,act as *** this review,we provide a holistic view of the mineral andenergy resources associated with impact craters,and use some of the remote sensing techniques toidentify the mineral deposits as supplemented by a schematic model of the types of deposits formedduring cratering process.

Evaluation of antioxidant capacity and reproductive toxicity of aqueous extract of Thai Mucuna pruriens seeds

Objective: In traditional medicine, the seeds of Thai Mucuna pruriens(T-MP) are used to treat male dysuria and are believed to enhance fertility. However, information pertaining to the toxicity of T-MP and its interaction with other properties is limited. This study was thus conducted to evaluate the antioxidant capacity and subacute toxicity of T-MP in the reproductive ***: Total phenolic content and antioxidant capacity of T-MP seed extract were determined using total phenolic content, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl and ferric reducing antioxidant power *** and female adult rats were treated orally with T-MP at a dosage of 150 or 300 mg/kg body weight for 14 consecutive days. Sex hormones and functional parameters in the liver and kidney were *** of all tissue was conducted using Masson’s trichrome staining. Sperm parameters, including concentration, morphology, acrosome reaction status and DnA damage, were also *** of tyrosine phosphorylated protein(Tyr Pho), androgen receptor and A-kinase-anchoring protein 4(AKAP4) were investigated using the Western blot ***: T-MP seed extract contained phenolic compounds and exhibited high antioxidant capacity with no toxicity at the tested doses. It did not affect liver or kidney function parameters in the male rats, but increased estradiol, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase levels in the ***, it decreased serum progesterone and alkaline phosphatase levels in female rats. Serum and intratesticular testosterone levels were significantly lower in male rats that received a high dosage of T-MP. Histopathological changes were not observed in any tissue treated with T-MP. Analytical Solution of the non-Linear Equation in Biodegradation of n-Butanol in a Biofilter

In this paper, mathematical models of biofilm mixtures of n-butanol biofilters were discussed. The model is based on the mass transfer in the biofilm interface and chemical oxidation in the biofilm phase and gas phase. An approximate analytical expression of concentration profiles of n-butanol in the biofilm phase and gas phase has been derived using the homotopy perturbation method and hyperbolic function method for all possible values of parameters. Furthermore, in this work, the numerical simulation of the problem is also reported using the Matlab program. Good agreement between the analytical and numerical results is noted. Graphical results are presented and discussed quantitatively to illustrate the solution. The analytical results will be useful in finding the yields of biomass and oxygen consumption, the specific biomass surface area, activation energy and saturation constant for the Michaelis-Menten kinetics.
