Recent reports suggest that aging is not solely a physiological process in living beings;instead, it should be considered a pathological process or disease(Amorim et al., 2022). Consequently, this process involves a wide range of factors, spanning from genetic to environmental factors, and even includes the gut microbiome(GM)(Mayer et al., 2022). All these processes coincide at some point in the inflammatory process, oxidative stress, and apoptosis, at different degrees in various organs and systems that constitute a living organism(Mayer et al., 2022;AguilarHernández et al., 2023).

2,4,6,8,10,12-Hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane(HnIW), commonly called as CL-20, is a high energy and high density material of keen interest to both commercial and scientific worlds due to its greater insensitivity(reduced sensitivity) along with a positive high heat of formation, which is due to the azanitro groups attached to the skeleton of HnIW and its highly strained cage structure. It plays a remarkable role in modification and replacement of most of the propellant(gun and rocket) preparations. In this report we present the comparative strategies involved in the syntheses of HnIW with respect to economical and environmental aspects. various methods reported in the literature on the purification of the crude HnIW(α-HnIW) to obtain ε-form of HnIW(high dense/more potential) are consolidated. Understanding of the structure, morphology, energetics, thermal behavior and their modification to meet the applicability(decreased impact sensitivity) determines the industrial application of HnIW. A compilation of the available literature on the aforementioned characteristic properties for obtaining a value added ε-HnIW is discussed here. This overview also reports the literature available on newer forms of HnIW including derivatives and cocrystals,which increase the performance of HnIW.

An atmospheric pressure glow discharge was ignited between a molybdenum anode and the water surface of a cathode for the synthesis of MoO_3 powders. The action of glow discharge leads to the non-equilibrium evaporation of water, sputtering of the metal anode and formation of molybdenum(vI) oxide, which deposited on the anode. The chemical composition and morphology of the obtained powder were performed by using x-ray diffraction spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It was found that the synthesized powders are pure α-MoO_3. The possible mechanism of the formation of molybdenum trioxide during glow discharge treatment was described. The photocatalytic performance of MoO_3 was estimated through the degradation of Rhodamine B under dark and Uv irradiation conditions. Orthorhombic MoO_3 exhibited the best photocatalytic activity for the photodegradation of Rhodamine B of 100% under Uv irradiation for 15 min.

The selective synthesis of p-diethylbenzene （p-DEB） by disproportionation of ethylbenzene （EB） in the presence of aromatics like m- and p- xylene isomers has been studied over a pore size regulated HZsM-5 catalyst. The industrial feed having different compositions of ethylbenzene and xylene isomers was used for the experimentation. Hence, they were expected to hinder the movement of reactant molecules both on the external surface and within the zeolite channels. It was observed that irrespective of the different feed compositions the concentration of the xylene isomers was intact in the product. There is no other byproducts formation like para-ethylmethyl benzene. The effects of varying the concentration of aromatic compounds in the feed on ethylbenzene conversion and product distribution over the parent and modified H-ZsM-5 catalyst have been discussed. Ethylbenzene disproportionation reaction follows the pseudo first order reaction with an activation energy of 8.6 kcal/mol.

The dominant process in relaxation of DC glow discharge between two plane parallel electrodes in argon at pressure 200 Pa is analyzed by measuring the breakdown time delay and by analytical and numerical models. By using the approx- imate analytical model it is found that the relaxation in a range from 20 to 60 ms in afterglow is dominated by Ar＋ ions, produced by atomic-to-molecular conversion of Ar＋ ions in the first several milliseconds after the cessation of the discharge. This conversion is confirmed by the presence of double-Gaussian distribution for the formative time delay, as well as con- version maxima in a set of memory curves measured in different conditions. Finally, the numerical one-dimensional （1D） model for determining the number densities of dominant particles in stationary DC glow discharge and two-dimensional （2D） model for the relaxation are used to confirm the previous assumptions and to determine the corresponding collision and transport coefficients of dominant species and processes.
