In.t.is paper, we prove that there exists a infin.t. set of non.t.ivial local Fitting classes every element in which is decomposable as a non.t.ivial product of Fitting classes such that every factor in.t.e product is neither local nor a formation. In particular, this gives a positive answer to Problem 11.25 a） in.t.e Kourovka n.t.book.

It had very long been a dream in polymer science to synthesize long multi-block polymer chains with an orderedchain sequence and controllable block len.t.s. Using ionic or living free radical polymerization or furnishing each end ofpolymer blocks with a reactive fun.t.onal group, one can only prepare heteropolymer chains with few long blocks, such asdiblock and triblock copolymers. the most plausible result so far was a pentablock copolymer. Recently, using a combin.t.onof polymer physics and synthetic chemistry, we have invented self-assembly assisted polycondensation (SAAP). thiscommunication reports the results of using this novel. method to connect 10-100 triblock polymer chains together to formlong multi-block heteropolymer chains with an ordered sequence and controllable block len.t.s.

Spatial dynamics of industrialization in Jiangsu Province of China

Economic reforms in China since the fare 1970s have led to tremendous economic growth which is most closely related to the industrial development to investigate spatial dynamics of industrialization, this paper will take Jiangsu province as a case study to carry out spatial and dynamics analyses since Jiangsu Province has one of the n.t.on's fastest growl industrial sectors and is a veritable microcosm of China. Since 1978, Jiangsu Province has experienced remarkable economic development especially in industrial sector, however, regional difference still remains very significant at the county level. After examining industrial development at the county level, this paper will analyze the contributions of several components of industrialization. such as state-owned enterprises, collectively-owned enterprises, as well as township and village enterprises. One of the main purposes of this paper is to scrutinize the factors or reasons affecting regional industrialization. the step-wise regression method has been adopted to identify the main reasons influencing development of industrialization. It is found that there are different mechanisms affecting regional industrialization in different time.

nanostructured Fe40ni40P14B6 alloy ingots of 3―5 mm in diameter could be synthesized by a metastable liquid state spinodal decomposition method. For undercooling t> 260 K, the microstructure of the undercooled specimen had exhibited liquid state spinodal decomposition in.t.e undercooled liquid state. the microstructure could be described as two intertwining n.t.orks with small grains dispersed in.t.em. For undercooling t>290 K, the overall microstructure of the specimen changed into a granular morphology. the average grain sizes of the small and large grains are 30 nm and 80 nm, respectively. these prepared samples are soft magn.t. with saturation magn.t.zation Bs 0.744 t.

We used a thermally reversible hybrid gel made of billions of physically jam-packed swollen.t.ermally sensitivepoly(n-isopropyl-acrylamide) chemical microgels. Laser light scattering study on a series of such hybrid gels formed atdifferent gelling rates and temperatures revealed that the position-dependence of the scattering speckle pattern(staticnonergodicity) came from large voids formed during the sol-gel transition. With a proper preparation, such a nonergodicitycould be completely removed, indicating that the static nonergodicity generally observed in a gel is n.t.indinsic, but comesfrom the clustering "island" structure formed during the gelation process.

Intern.t.onal non-governmental organizations were among the first intern.t.onal actors that responded to the emer- gence of AIDS crisis in China. Since 1994, the number of intern.t.onal non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations working in AIDS related issue areas in China has grown steadily and substantially. Despite their organiza- tional differences, most of these non-governmental actors present the characteristics of independent mission, localized practice and diverse working focus. Even.t.ough they are con.t.ained by financial and other factors compared with multilateral and bilateral official assistance agencies, they have still played a unique role in fighting again.t.AIDS in China as technical experts, public educators, and civil society supporters.

Facial shape transformation described by facial animation parameters (FAPs) involves the dynamic movement or deformation of eyes, brows, mouth, and lips, while detailed facial appearance concerns the facial textures such as creases, wrinkles, etc. Video-based facial animation exhibits n.t.only facial shape transformation but also detailed appearance updates. In.t.is paper, a novel algorithm for effectively extracting FAPs from video is proposed. Our system adopts the ICA-enforced direct appearance model (DAM) to track faces from video sequences; and then, FAPs are extracted from every frame of the video based on an extended model of Wincandidate 3.1. Facial appearance details are transformed from each frame by mapping an expression ratio image to the original image. We adopt wavelet to synthesize expressive details by combining the low-frequency signals of the original face and high-frequency signals of the expressive face from each frame of the video. Experimental results show that our proposed algorithm is suitable for reproducing realistic, expressive facial animations.

迄今,尼泊尔及其南侧邻区元古宙以来的构造-沉积演化尚缺乏系统性研究.为了促进区域地质认识,结合前人研究成果及新的研究发现,对尼泊尔低喜马拉雅带及以南的构造-沉积演化首次进行系统性总结与讨论.结果表明:尼泊尔低喜马拉雅带及以南与印度地盾北缘在地质历史中的构造-沉积演化息息相关,且自元古宙以来,发育了被动大陆边缘→陆内裂谷→被动大陆边缘→前陆盆地等不同构造演化阶段的沉积响应;尼泊尔西部的Dailekh群属于~1.8 Ga以前或前哥伦比亚超大陆之前的被动大陆边缘沉积;Vindhyan超群为下断上坳的陆内裂谷沉积,尼泊尔境内的Lakharpata群相当于下Vindhyan群;Gondwana超大陆裂解导致由北往南形成一系列初始发育时间越来越晚的裂谷盆地;Surkhet群至Siwalik群为被动大陆边缘至前陆盆地沉积,其中,Surkhet群Swat/Subathu组是喜马拉雅南侧地质历史上最后一套海相沉积地层,也是被动大陆边缘向前陆盆地转换期的沉积响应;Siwalik群大规模的磨拉石建造标志着喜马拉雅快速和大幅度隆升,该群沉积成岩后,印度-欧亚板块进一步的挤压作用导致了地质历史上迄今为止最后一次强烈的构造运动,形成MFt与Siwalik褶皱带,并奠定了喜马拉雅带现今构造格局.
