Charging mechanism of dust particles has been considered as a growing research area in dusty plasma physics because of its exciting *** this paper,we consider a low-temperature non-equilibrium multispecies plasma model,which consists of Vasyliunas-Caims (VC) distributed electrons,negative/positive streaming ions,and negatively-charged dust grains to explain the charging mechanism of dust *** main theme of this work is to derive expressions of currents for negatively-charged dust grains (considering an equilibrium state position) in the plasma environment comprised of electrons and positive/negative streaming ions using the VC distribution *** proposed model shows that the dust grain surface potential is significantly affected by different plasma parameters such as the negative ion streaming velocity (sn),positive ion streaming velocity (si),spectral indices of VC distribution,negative ion charging state (Zn),positive ion charging state (Zi),and negative ion number density (ρ).

Indium tin oxide （ITO） films were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering under two conditions：（i） at substrate temperature Ts from room temperature （RT） to 350℃ （ii） with additional post-annealing in vacuum at 400℃ for 30 min in comparison of their crystalline structures, and electrical-optical properties of the films deposited. From the experimental results, it is found that, under the first condition, the crystalline structures and the electrical-optical properties of the films are improved with the increasing Ts. Under the other condition, i.e. with the additional post-annealing, the films exhibit higher degree of crystallinities and better electrical-optical properties. Under the two deposition conditions, inter-relation between electrical-optical properties and the crystalline structure is observed clearly. However, even under the same annealing condition, it is observed that improved properties of the films are different, depending on their deposition temperatures, which implies that an initial stage of the ITO film before annealing is an important factor for the film＇s properties improved after annealing. The resistivity of 2.33 × 10-4 Ω·cm can be achieved at Ts of 350℃after annealing.

The red-orange emitting phosphor YBO3：Eu3＋was prepared by aldo-keto method and solid state diffusion. Aldo-keto method implied to decrease the processing time and heating temperature. The red-orange emitting phosphor was characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （sEM）, as well as emission and excitation photoluminescence spectra re-corded at room temperature. The result of aldo-keto method showed that the phosphor YBO3：Eu3＋could be obtained at 900 °C in less time^60%as compared to solid state diffusion （ssD）. The material showed that the strongest emission peak at 595 nm under excitation at 233 nm was only due to forced magnetic dipole 5D0→7F1 transition of Eu3＋ions. significantly, the emission inten-sity of YBO3：Eu3＋phosphor prepared by aldo-keto method was relatively higher as compared to that obtained by the solid state diffusion.

Magnetic susceptibility of Al2RE （RE=Y, Ce, sm, Gd, Dy, Ho, Yb） compounds was studied experimentally in wide temperature （T=290–2000 K） and field （B=0.3–1.3 T） intervals. The abnormal increase in susceptibility beginning above the melting point was fixed for all the compositions. The values for the effective magnetic moments per RE atoms in these compounds were found to be smaller than the values typical for free ions RE3＋. The results were discussed in supposition of the directed bonds between aluminum and rare-earth atoms.

Herein,we report the magnetic properties of α-MoO3nanofibers synthesized via a hydrothermal method.X-ray photoelectron and Raman spectroscopic studies have been employed to evidence the presence of oxygen vacancy defects in the α-*** elucidate the oxygen vacancy related ferromagnetism,post-thermal annealing in oxygen and vacuum was *** UV emission band of α-MoO3nanofibers reveals a red shift from oxygen annealed to vacuum annealed,indicating a bandedge *** saturation magnetization of oxygen annealed nanofibers decreases while that of vacuum annealed nanofibers *** results strongly confirm that the oxygen vacancies play a significant role in inducing *** origin of ferromagnetism may be due to the exchange interactions among localized electron spin moments resulting from oxygen vacancies of α-*** presence of such defects was further supported by the photoluminescence measurements.

The method of crucible rotating oscillation damping was employed to measure the kinematic viscosity of aluminum melt,and the curve of viscosity v versus temperature T from 935 to 1383 K was ***,based on the calculation model of the evolution behavior of atomic clusters in liquid structure,the curve of atomic clusters size d versus temperature was obtained,and the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental *** analyzing experimental data,it was found that both the viscosity and the size of atomic clusters of aluminum melt are monodrome functions of temperature,and the relation between v(T) and d(T) is a linear function,i.e.,v = v 0 + K·d(T).This relation indirectly verifies the calculation model of the structural information of metal melt,which is of great significance for studying the relation between melt microstructure and macro-physical properties.

Aim: To establish techniques for producing somatic and germline chimeric chicken by transferring blastodermal cellsfused with electroporation. Methods: stage-X blastodermal cells isolated from freshly laid fertile unincubated whiteLeghorn and Rhode Island red chicken eggs were fused with electroporation. The treated cell suspension was transferredto the recovery medium (DMEM containing 10% FBs) and was injected into the subgenninal cavity of recipient unin-cubated embryos (stage X). Results: Of 177 recipient embryos injected with the fusing blastodermal cells, 6(3.4 %) survived to hatching. somatic chimerism was examined in the melanocyte of the feather. The presence offeathers originating from the donor cell was observed in 1 bird (16.7%) out of the 6 hatched birds. After 21 days ofincubation two birds out of five embryos were subjected to polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis for W-chromo-some-specific DnA for each tissue. One bird possessed W-chromosome-specific DnA in the stomach, and the other ex-hibited the same DnA in the left and right gonads and other tissues, but not the stomach. Conclusion: Recipientembryo having electrofused blastodennal cells yields somatic and germline chimeric chickens more successfully.(Asian J Androl 2000 Dec; 2: 271-275)

sugar is important in daily food intake since it is used as food preservative and ***,is important to analyze the influence of sugar on the spectroscopic properties of the *** spectroscopy is proven to be useful and an efficient method for sugar detection as well as for future food quality ***,the lack of detection sensitivity in Terahertz spectroscopy has prevented it from being used in a widespread spectroscopic analysis *** this paper,Frequency selective surface(Fss)using the Terahertz spectroscopy Time Domain spectrum(THz-TDs)which operates at terahertz frequency range has been demonstrated for application of sugar *** Fss is designed with a circle slot structure and has been optimized in line with the molecular resonance of glucose and fructose at different level concentration at 1.98 THz and 1.80 THz,*** magnitude of glucose and sucrose is inversely proportional with the level of sugar *** realization of the Fss structure is using electron beam lithography and wet etching *** show that the Fss performance for glucose and sucrose reveal fair shifts in measured transmission magnitude from its original in CsT by approximately 30%.The use of fabricated Fss with circle structure indicates that the concentration can be improved averagely at 25%for glucose and 13%for ***,it shows that the Fss circle structure combined with THz-TDs has the potential to become an alternative method for food sensing technology in the future.
