The rare earth elements(rEE)geochemistry and the isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)composition of manganese ores of the Chiatura(Georgia)deposit were *** of the major features of all types of manganese ores is negative cerium(Ce/Ce*_(PAAS))anomaly and the absence of europium(Eu/Eu*_(PAAS))*** oolitic manganese ores were formed in oxic shallow marine *** content and distribution of rEEs(in particular Ce and Eu)in these ores are connected mainly with ferrous *** performed C-and O-isotope research in Mn-carbonates(oolitic and massive)has indicated that carbonate ores were formed by the participation of isotopic ally light CO_(2)which is a result of the oxidation of organic matter in the sediment strata by reducing environments of early diagenesis(and,partially,catagenesis)*** negative cerium anomalies in the studied carbonate ores reflect the specific rEE patterns in pore waters of sediments of earlier isdiagenesis zone of the Oligocene Chiatura's *** deficiency of cerium in this zone remains debatable and requires further *** of manganese carbonates took place multistage by the input of incisional solutions of different chemistry into sea bottom waters and *** absence of europium anomaly indicates about lack of hydrothermal solution input.

For more than 150 years, geologic characteristics claimed to be evidence for pre-Pleistocene glaciations have been debated. Advancements in recent decades, in understanding features generated by mainly glacial and mass flow processes, are here reviewed. Detailed studies of data offered in support of prePleistocene glaciations have led to revisions that involve environments of mass movements. Similarities and differences between Quaternary glaciogenic and mass movement features are examined, to provide a more systematic methodology for analysing the origins of more ancient deposits. Analyses and evaluation of data are from a) Quaternary glaciogenic sediments, b) formations which have been assigned to pre-Pleistocene glaciations, and c) formations with comparable features associated with mass movements(and occasionally tectonics). Multiple proxies are assembled to develop correct interpretations of ancient strata. The aim is not per se to reinterpret specific formations and past climate changes, but to enable data to be evaluated using a broader and more inclusive conceptual *** occurring pre-Pleistocene features interpreted to be glaciogenic, have often been shown to have few or no Quaternary glaciogenic equivalents. These same features commonly form by sediment gravity flows or other non-glacial processes, which may have led to misinterpretations of ancient deposits. Moringa oleifera leaves are an important source of dietary phytochemicals,such as flavonoids with high antioxidant activity(AOA).These components are however influenced by the post-harvest treatments applied as well as the processing ***,it is crucial to determine the most appropriate post-harvest treatment that preserves or enhances *** this effect the influence of steam blanching,fermentation/oxidation,oven drying and roasting of fresh Moringa leaves on their AOA was *** conditions of time and temperature for each treatment were optimised using response surface *** effect of the different treatments at optimal conditions on phenolic profile and AOA were *** achieved the most significant(provement in phenolics(43%)and AOA(22–31%),which was accompanied by the formation of 2 new compounds,quercetin-3-O-acetylglucoside and *** blanching had the most deleterious effect on phenolics(-31%)and ***-harvest treatments qualitatively and quantitatively affect phytochemical profile of Moringa leaves.

This paper analyses,simulates and verifies an experimental prototype of a four-phase interleaved DC-DC *** is based on a SEPIC-Cuk *** developed prototype has been used in single-input multiple-output(SIMO)*** combined converter allows obtaining dual output voltages of the same value,from a single input DC voltage and with only a power *** interleaved DC-DC converters achieve a better dynamic response and low ripple,maintaining their *** converter is connected in parallel,thereby managing their losses by distributing them between more components,which facilitates the thermal management of the multiphase converter and allows handling high power values in small sizes with respect to solutions for a single *** control strategies were applied:synchronous operation mode(SOM)and interleaved operation mode(IOM).The simulation results allow the comparison of both operational modes,verifying that the IOM presents advantages with respect to the ripple at the input and output *** experimental prototype was designed for a distributed power architecture and bipolar DC microgrid(MG).

In our consideration,a comparison between four different types of controllers for suppression the vibrations of the cantilever beam excited by an external force is carried *** four types are the linear velocity feedback control,the cubic velocity feedback control,the non-linear saturation controller(nSC)and the positive position feedback(PPF)*** suitable type is the PPF controller for suppression the vibrations of the cantilever *** approximate solution obtained up to the first approximation by using the multiple scale *** PPF controller effectiveness is studied on the *** used frequency-response equations to investigate the stability of a cantilever *** notified that,there is a good agreement between the analytical solution and the numerical solution.

Compelling evidence derived from clinical and experimental research has demonstrated the crucial contribution of chronic inflammation in the development of neoplasms,including gallbladder *** this regard,data derived from clinical and experimental studies have demonstrated that the receptor of advanced glycation end-products(rAGE)/AGEs axis plays an important role in the onset of a crucial and long-lasting inflammatory milieu,thus supporting tumor growth and *** are formed in biological systems or foods,and food-derived AGEs,also known as dietary AGEs are known to contribute to the systemic pool of *** they bind to rAGE,the activation of multiple and crucial signaling pathways are triggered,thus favoring the secretion of several proinflammatory cytokines also involved in the promotion of gallbladder cancer invasion and *** the present review,we aimed to highlight the relevance of the association between high dietary AGEs intakes and high risk for gallbladder cancer,and emerging data supporting that dietary intervention to reduce gallbladder cancer risk is a very attractive approach that deserves much more research efforts.
