The abundant existence of both structured and unstructured data and rapid advancement of statistical models stressed the importance of introducing Explainable Artificial Intelligence(XAI),a process that explains how prediction is done in AI *** mental disorder,i.e.,Autism Spectral Disorder(ASD)needs to be identified and classified at early stage itself in order to reduce health *** this background,the current paper presents XAI-based ASD diagnosis(XAI-ASD)model to detect and classify ASD *** proposed XAI-ASD technique involves the design of Bacterial Foraging Optimization(BFO)-based Feature Selection(FS)*** addition,Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)with Deep Belief network(DBn)model is also applied for ASD classification process in which the hyperparameters of DBn model are optimally tuned with the help of *** order to ensure a better ASD diagnostic outcome,a series of simulation process was conducted on ASD dataset.

The emergence of multimedia services has meant a substantial increase in the number of devices in mobile networks and driving the demand for higher data transmission *** result is that,cellular networks must technically evolve to support such higher rates,to be equipped with greater capacity,and to increase the spectral and energy *** with 4G technology,the 5G networks are being designed to transmit up to 100 times more data volume with devices whose battery life is 10 times ***,this new generation of networks has adopted a heterogeneous and ultra-dense architecture,where different technological advances are combined such as device-to-device(D2D)communication,which is one of the key elements of 5G *** has immediate applications such as the distribution of traffic load(data offloading),communications for emergency services,and the extension of cellular coverage,*** this communication model,two devices can communicate directly if they are close to each other without using a base station or a remote access ***,eliminating the interference between theD2Dand cellular communication in the *** interference management has become a hot issue in current *** order to address this problem,this paper proposes a joint resource allocation algorithm based on the idea of mode selection and resource *** results showthat the proposed algorithm effectively improves the systemperformance and reduces the interference as compared with existing algorithms.

Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a breakthrough technologyin the transfer of medical data via a communication system. Wearable sensordevices collect patient data and transfer them through mobile internet, thatis, the IoMT. Recently, the shift in paradigm from manual data storage toelectronic health recording on fog, edge, and cloud computing has been *** advanced computing technologies have facilitated medical services withminimum cost and available conditions. However, the IoMT raises a highconcern on network security and patient data privacy in the health caresystem. The main issue is the transmission of health data with high security inthe fog computing model. In today’s market, the best solution is blockchaintechnology. This technology provides high-end security and authenticationin storing and transferring data. In this research, a blockchain-based fogcomputing model is proposed for the IoMT. The proposed technique embedsa block chain with the yet another consensus (YAC) protocol building securityinfrastructure into fog computing for storing and transferring IoMT data inthe network. YAC is a consensus protocol that authenticates the input datain the block chain. In this scenario, the patients and their family membersare allowed to access the data. The empirical outcome of the proposedtechnique indicates high reliability and security against dangerous *** major advantages of using the blockchain model are high transparency,good traceability, and high processing speed. The technique also exhibitshigh reliability and efficiency in accessing data with secure transmission. Theproposed technique achieves 95% reliability in transferring a large number offiles up to 10,000.

The rapid technological developments in the modern era have led to increased electrical equipment in our daily lives,work,and *** this standpoint,the main objective of this study is to evaluate the potential relationship between the intensity of electromagnetic radiation and the total energy of household appliances in the living environment within the building by measuring and analyzing the strength of the electric field and the entire electromagnetic radiation flux density of electrical devices operating at frequencies(5 Hz to 1 kHz).The living room was chosen as a center for measurement at 15 homes in three different environmental regions(urban,suburbs,and open areas).The three measurement methods are(Mode 1:people in a sitting position with electrical appliances *** 2:People in a standing position with electrical appliances *** 3:People are in the upright positionwhile turning off the electrical devices)in the living *** measurement methods and their results reinforce the importance of this *** results showed that the average electric field strengthmeasured inMode 2 ismuch greater than the two methods,and we also found less electromagnetic radiation in Mode 3 than in the two *** results remain within the recommended overall exposure developed by the International Committee for the Prevention of non-Ionizing Radiation and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Thrust characteristics of nano-carbon/Al/oxygenated salt nanothermites for micro-energetic applications

Combustion within small motors is key in the application-specific development of nanothermite-based micro-energetic systems. This study evaluates the performance of nanothermite mixtures in a converging-diverging nozzle and an open tube. Mixtures were prepared using nano-aluminum(n-Al),potassium perchlorate(kClO_(4)), and different carbon nanomaterials(CnMs) including graphene-oxide(GO), reduced GO, carbon nanotubes(CnTs) and nanofibers(CnFs). The mixtures were packed at different densities and ignited by laser beam. Performance was measured using thrust measurement,high-speed imaging, and computational fluid dynamics modeling, respectively. Thrust, specific impulse(ISP), volumetric impulse(ISV), as well as normalized energy were found to increase notably with CnM content. Two distinctive reaction regimes(fast and slow) were observed in combustion of low and high packing densities(20% and 55%TMD), respectively. Total impulse(IFT) and ISPwere maximized in the 5%GO/Al/kClO_4 mixture, producing 7.95 m n·s and 135.20 s respectively at 20%TMD, an improvement of 57%compared to a GO-free sample(5.05 m n·s and 85.88 s). CFD analysis of the motors over predicts the thrust generated but trends in nozzle layout and packing density agree with those observed experimentally;peak force was maximized by reducing packing density and using an open tube. The numerical force profiles fit better for the nozzle cases than the open tube scenarios due to the rapid nature of combustion. This study reveals the potential of GO in improving oxygenated salt-based nanothermites,and further demonstrates their applicability for micro-propulsion and micro-energetic applications.

Short-term traffic flow prediction (TFP) is an important area inintelligent transportation system (ITS), which is used to reduce traffic congestion. But the avail of traffic flow data with temporal features and periodicfeatures are susceptible to weather conditions, making TFP a challengingissue. TFP process are significantly influenced by several factors like accidentand weather. Particularly, the inclement weather conditions may have anextreme impact on travel time and traffic flow. Since most of the existing TFPtechniques do not consider the impact of weather conditions on the TF, it isneeded to develop effective TFP with the consideration of extreme weatherconditions. In this view, this paper designs an artificial intelligence based TFPwith weather conditions (AITFP-WC) for smart cities. The goal of the AITFPWC model is to enhance the performance of the TFP model with the inclusionof weather related conditions. The proposed AITFP-WC technique includesElman neural network (Enn) model to predict the flow of traffic in smartcities. Besides, tunicate swarm algorithm with feed forward neural networks(TSA-FFnn) model is employed for the weather and periodicity analysis. Atlast, a fusion of TFP and WPA processes takes place using the FFnn modelto determine the final prediction output. In order to assess the enhancedpredictive outcome of the AITFP-WC model, an extensive simulation analysisis carried out. The experimental values highlighted the enhanced performanceof the AITFP-WC technique over the recent state of art methods.

Effect of insoluble materials on the volumetric behavior of rock salt

This paper focuses on the presence of nodules of insoluble materials within salt specimens,and their effect on the volumetric strain measurements and the dilatancy *** analyzed experimental results of over 120 conventional triaxial compression tests,and found that in 20%of the cases,the volumetric strain measurements were *** also noted that the natural variability of the specimens can lead to a non-negligible data scattering in the volumetric strain measurements when different specimens are subjected to the same *** is expected given the small magnitude of those strains,but it occasionally implies that the corresponding specimens are not representative of the volumetric behavior of the studied *** order to understand these results,we numerically investigated salt specimens modeled as halite matrices with inclusions of *** of triaxial compression tests on these structures proved that such heterogeneities can induce dilatancy,and their presence can lead to the appearance of tensile zones which is physically translated into a micro-cracking *** modeling approach is validated as the patterns displayed in the numerical results are identical to that in the *** was then employed to explain the observed irregularities in experimental *** studied the natural variability effect as well and proposed a methodology to overcome the issue of specimen representativity from both deviatoric and volumetric perspectives.
