A non-increasing sequenceπ=(d1,..., dn) of nonnegative integers is said to be a graphic sequence if it is realizable by a simple graph G on n vertices. In this case, G is referred to as a realization ofπ. In terms of graphic sequences, the Loebl-Komlós-Sós conjecture states that for any integers k and n, if π=(d1,..., dn)is a graphic sequence with d「n/2」≥k, then every realization ofπcontains all trees with k edges as *** problem can be viewed as a forcible degree sequence problem. In this paper, we consider a potential degree sequence problem of the Loebl-Komlós-Sós conjecture, that is, we prove that for any integers k and n, ifπ=(d1,..., dn) is a graphic sequence with d「n/2」≥k, then there is a realization ofπcontaining all trees with k edges as subgraphs.

Artificial biomaterials with dynamic mechano-responsive behaviors similar to those of biological tissues have been drawing great *** this study,we report a TiO_(2)-based nanowire(TiO_(2)nWs)scaffolds,which exhibit dynamic mechano-responsive behaviors varying with the number and amplitude of nano-deformation *** is found that the elastic and adhesive forces in the TiO_(2)nWs scaffolds can increase significantly after multiple cycles of *** nanofriction experiments show the triboelectric effect of increasing elastic and adhesive forces during the nano-deformation cycles of TiO_(2)nWs *** properties allow the TiO_(2)nW scaffolds to be designed and applied as intelligent artificial biomaterials to simulate biological tissues in the future.

natural tactile sensation is complex,which involves not only contact force intensity detection but also the perception of the force direction,the surface texture,and other mechanical ***,the vast majority of the developed tactile sensors can only detect the normal force,but usually cannot resolve shear force or even distinguish the directions of the ***,we present a new paradigm of bioinspired tactile sensors for resolving both the intensity and the directions of mechanical stimulations via synergistic microcrack-bristle structure design and cross-shaped configuration *** microcrack sensing structure gives high mechanical sensitivity to the tactile sensors,and the synergistic bristle structure further amplifies the sensitivity of the *** cross-shaped configuration engineering of the synergistic microcrack-bristle structure further endows the tactile sensors with good capability to detect and distinguish the directions of the applied mechanical *** as-fabricated tactile sensors exhibit a high sensitivity(25.76 n^(−1)),low detection limit(5.4 mn),desirable stability(over 2,500 cycles),and good capability to resolve both mechanical intensity and directional *** promising application scenarios,surface texture recognition and biomimetic path explorations are successfully demonstrated with these tactile *** newly proposed tactile sensation strategy and technology have great potential applications in ingenious tactile sensation and construction of various robotic and bionic prostheses with high operational dexterity.

Electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction (nITRR) is regarded as a “two birds-one stone” method for the treatment of nitrate contaminant in polluted water and the synthesis of valuable ammonia, which is retarded by the lack of highly reactive and selective electrocatalysts .Herein, for the first time, nickel foam supported Co_(4) n was designed as a high-performance nITRR catalyst by an in-situ nonmetal leaching-induced *** the optimal potential, the Co_(4) n/nF catalyst achieves ultra-high Faraday efficiency and nH_(3) selectivity of 95.4% and 99.4%, *** situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), together with other experiments powerfully reveal that the nitrogen vacancies produced by nitrogen leaching are stable and play a key role in boosting nitrate reduction to *** calculations confirm that Co_(4) n with abundant nitrogen vacancies can optimize the adsorption energies of nO_(3)^(-) and intermediates, lower the free energy (Δ G ) of the potential-determining step (*nH_(3) to nH_(3) ) and inhibit the formation of n-containing *** addition, we also conclude that the nitrogen vacancies can stabilize the adsorbed hydrogen, making H_(2) quite difficult to produce, and lowering ΔG from *nO to *nOH, which facilitates the selective reduction of *** study reveals significant insights about the in-situ nonmetal leaching to enhance the nITRR activity.

We consider β-Jacobi ensembles with parameters p1, p2≥n. We prove that the empirical measure of the rescaled Jacobi ensembles converges weakly to a modified Watcher law via the spectral measure method. We also provide the central limit theorem and the large deviation for the corresponding rescaled spectral measure.
