Purpose:The study aimed to examine the reporting completeness of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of non-pharmacological interventions following concussion.Methods:We searched MEDLInE,Embase,PsycInfo,CInAHL,and Web of Science up to May 2022.Two reviewers independently screened studies and assessed reporting completeness using the Template for Intervention Description and Replication(TIDieR),Consensus on Exercise Reporting Template(CERT),and international Consensus on Therapeutic Exercise and Training(i-COnTEnT)checklists.Additional information was sought my study authors where reporting was incomplete.Risk of bias(ROB)was assessed with the Cochrane ROB-2 Tool.RCTs examining non-pharmacological interventions following concussion.Results:We included 89 RCTs(n=53 high ROB)examining 11 different interventions for concussion:sub-symptom threshold aerobic exercise,cervicovestibular therapy,physical/cognitive rest,vision therapy,education,psychotherapy,hyperbaric oxygen therapy,transcranial magnetic stimulation,blue light therapy,osteopathic manipulation,and head/neck cooling.Median scores were:TIDieR 9/12(75%;interquartile range(IQR)=5;range:5-12),CERT 17/19(89%;IQR=2;range:10-19),and i-COnTEnT 6/7(86%;IQR=1;range:5-7).Percentage of studies completely reporting all items was TIDieR 35%(31/89),CERT 24%(5/21),and i-COnTEnT 10%(2/21).Studies were more completely reported after publication of TIDieR(t_(87)=2.08;p=0.04)and CERT(t_(19)=2.72;p=0.01).Reporting completeness was not strongly associated with journal impact factor(TIDieR:rs=0.27;p=0.01;CERT:r_(s)=-0.44;p=0.06;i-COnTEnT:r_(s)=-0.17;p=0.48)or ROB(TIDieR:rs=0.11;p=0.31;CERT:rs=0.04;p=0.86;i-COnTEnT:rs=0.12;p=0.60).Conclusion:RCTs of non-pharmacological interventions following concussion demonstrate moderate to good reporting completeness,but are often missing key components,particularly modifications,motivational strategies,and qualified supervisor.Reporting completeness improved after TIDieR and CERT publication,but publication in highly cited journals and low ROB

Digital health interventions for COVID-19 in China: a retrospective analysis

Background:The use of digital health technologies was an integral part to China’s early response to coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Existing literatures have analyzed and discussed implemented digital health innovations from the perspective of technologies,whereas how policy mechanisms contributed to the formulation of the digital health landscape for COVID-19 was overlooked.This study aimed to examine the contexts and key mechanisms in China’s rapid mobilization of digital health interventions in response to COVID-19,and to document and share lessons learned.Methods:Policy documents were identified and retrieved from government portals and recognized media outlets.Data on digital health interventions were collected through three consecutive surveys administered between 23 January 2020 and 31 March 2020 by China Academy of Information and Communication Technology(CAICT)affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT).Participants were member companies of the Internet Health alliance established by MIIT and the national Health Commission(nHC)in June 2016.Self-report digital interventions focusing on social and economic recovery were excluded.Two hundred and sixtysix unique digital health interventions meeting our criteria were extracted from 175 narratives on digital health interventions submitted by 116 participating companies.Thematic analysis was conducted to describe the scope and priority of policies advocating for the use of digital health technologies and the implementation pattern of digital health interventions.Data limitations precluded an evaluation of the impact of digital health interventions over a longer time frame.Results:Between January and March 2020,national policy directives promoting the use of digital technologies for the containment of COVID-19 collectively advocated for use cases in emergency planning and preparedness,public health response,and clinical services.Interventions to strengthen clinical services were mentioned more than the other two themes(n=15,62.5%(1

目的通过评估扩散梯度极性及呼吸采集方案对影像质量、信噪比、体素内非相干性运动(IVIM)参数及参数可重复性来优化IVIM扩散加权(IVIMDW)成像,并探究IVIM在检测肝纤维化方面的潜能。材料与方法本研究为机构伦理委员会批准的前瞻性研究,纳入20例受试者(7名健康的志愿者及13例丙肝病毒感染病人,14例男性、6例女性,平均年龄46岁)进行IVIMDW成像;包括4个序列:(a)双极呼吸触发序列,(b)单极呼吸触发序列,(c)双极自由呼吸序列,(d)单极自由呼吸序列。所有序列都进行影像质量评分。采用贝叶斯方法的双指数分析计算得到肝实质的纯扩散系数(D)、伪扩散系数(D*)和灌注分数(PF)。采用混合模型的方差分析比较影像质量、信噪比、IVIM参数和4个序列的检查间差异以及区分正常肝组织与肝纤维化的能力。结果呼吸触发序列的影像质量优于自由呼吸采集的图像(P=0.02),梯度极性对影像质量没有影响。各个序列影像的信噪比没有显著差异。对于灌注分数和纯扩散系数,IVIM参数的可重复性表现中等到优秀,而对于伪扩散系数,IVIM参数的可重复性较差。在呼吸触发双极序列中,丙肝病毒感染病人的灌注分数和纯扩散系数显著低于健康志愿者[PF=(13.5±5.3)%和(9.2±2.5)%,P=0.038;D=(1.16±0.07)×10-3mm2/s和(1.03±0.10)×10-3mm2/s,P=0.006]。结论双指数拟合结果显示,呼吸触发双极扩散加权成像序列具有最佳的影像质量、可重复性以及区分健康肝组织与肝纤维化的能力。

Bioactive Low Molecular Weight Compounds in Two Traditional Spanish Products

The aim of this work focuses on the study of low molecular weight (LMW) compounds with antioxidant and antihy-pertensive effect in Iberian ham and La Serena cheese, two traditional products in Spain, in comparison to cured ham and matured Ewe’s milk cheese. Proteolysis parameters were studied, LMW compounds were isolated and their antioxidant and antihypertensive activity was analyzed. Results showed that a more intense proteolysis, expressed as peptidic nitrogen (Pn), in Iberian ham (p n cause higher antioxidant activity in this product for both DPPH radical scavenging (p nd metal chelating effect (p ntense proteolysis in La Serena cheese, expressed as non protein nitrogen (nPn) (p nd Pn (p not promote higher antioxidant activity in this cheese. On the other hand, no differences were found for antihypertensive activity, expressed as angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity, in both type of hams or cheese.

Background:Classical pterional appoach for temporal surgeries may cause atrophy and dysfunction of temporalis,injury to the facial nerve,and unnecessary cortical exposure.As an alternative to the classical pterional approach for such surgeries,we hereby describe an mini-temporal approach which reduces these risks and proven to be practical in neurological surgeries.Material and methods:In the mini-temporal incision design,the frontal end of the incision never surpassed the hairline at the level of temporal line,and a one-layer skin.galea-muscle flap was detached from the cranium,effectively avoiding the injuries of facial nerve.The surgical bone window was completely located underneath the temporalis muscle,allowing it to be completely repositioned postoperatively.Results:We demonstrated the application of mini-temporal approach in a variety of temporal region tumors,which can be applied to complete successful resective surgeries while effectively reducing injuries to extra-temporal cortex,temporalis,and facial nerve.There were no postoperative complications related to extra-temporal cortical damage,atrophy of temporalis,or injury to the facial nerve.Conclusion:The mini-temporal approach can effectively shorten the time of craniotomy and closure,decrease the size of bony removal,increase the restoration of temporalis during closure,and lower the chance of facial nerve injury.Therefore,it improves cosmetic outcomes and reduces the risk of unintentional extra-temporal cortical injury,which fully embodies the minimally invasive principle in neurosurgery.

摘要在阿尔茨海默病(AD)中,在β-淀粉样蛋白斑块周围发现了反应性星形胶质细胞和营养不良的神经突(异常的突触前元件)。笔者的前期研究已经表明,反应性星形胶质细胞会包裹、吞噬和降解APP小鼠以及AD患者海马中营养不良的突触,但仅波及不到7%的营养不良神经突,这表明星形胶质细胞在AD中的吞噬能力降低。本研究旨在通过分析原代星形胶质细胞培养物对分离突触(突触神经小体,Sns)吞噬和降解的能力来深入了解其潜在机制。Sns分别来自APP(包含营养不良性突触和β淀粉样肽)小鼠、Tau(包含AT8-和AT100-阳性磷酸化Tau)小鼠以及WT(对照)小鼠。我们发现与Sns-WT相比,星形胶质细胞的吞噬和降解能力在Sns-APP大大降低,但在AT8/AT100阳性的Sns-Tau却没有。在12月大的APP小鼠的海马中证实了星形胶质细胞吞噬能力的降低,因为只有(1.60±3.81)%的斑块状星形胶质细胞具有吞噬结构。
