Addition of zinc oxide(ZnO)to Mineral Trioxide Aggregate(MTA)has been shown to rectify tooth discoloration caused by Angelus *** study evaluated the microhardness,compressive strength,calcium ion release and crystalline structures of MTA mixed with ZnO in different environmental *** with a diameter of 4 mm and a height of 6 mm were used for compressive strength,calcium ion release and X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** with 6 mm diameter and 4 mm height were used for surface microhardness *** evaluated include Angelus MTA(Angelus,Brail),Angelus MTA+ZnO,ProRoot MTA(Dentsply Tulsa Dental,OK),and ProRoot MTA+*** group was divided into 3 subgroups according to exposure conditions:normal saline(nS),phosphate buffered saline(PBS)or *** 7 days incubation,surface microhardness,compressive strength and XRD analysis was *** ion release was evaluated after 3,24 and 168h incubation using atomic absorption *** were analyzed by One Way Anova followed by the Tukey HSD Post hoc tests and *** significance level was set at *** of ZnO to Angelus and ProRoot MTA significantly decreased the compressive strength of these cements regardless of the environmental conditions(Pno significant effect on their microhardness or calcium ion *** conclusion,adding ZnO to Angelus and ProRoot MTA can adversely affect the compressive strength of Angelus and ProRoot MTA.

Objective:To find out the extent of duffy-binding-like(DBL) a gene diversity and the resetting potential of the parasite population in association with severe ***:Genotyping of DBLαdomain was done by PCR using three sets of primers(FR,F1R2 and F2R2) and the rosetting frequency was assessed by parasite culture followed by ethidium bromide staining and visualization under a fluorescent ***:The significant association of high parasite density with severe malaria and the positive correlation between rosetting frequency and parasite density in vivo(P = 0.613,Pns having multiple fragments of F2R2 region and’b’variant of FR region of DBL 1-αshowed increased rosetting frequency and supported the strain specific association of disease severity. Conclusions:The findings suggest that rosetting mediated higher parasitemia might have contributed to the development of severe *** the rosetting domain of Plasmodium falciparum erythrocyte membrane protein 1(HEMP1),the DBL a binds to multiple host receptors; the significant association of multiple fragments of F2R2 region with severe malaria suggests several receptor-ligand interactions as the possible mechanisms of ***, the high percentage distribution of smaller fragments with mild malaria suggests the lack of adequate rosetting epitopes that might have contributed to low rosetting frequency in mild malaria.

Faecal immunochemical tests(FITs)are the most widely colorectal cancer(CRC)diagnostic biomarker *** population screening programmes are based on this biomarker,with the goal of reducing CRC ***,in recent years,a large amount of evidence has been produced on the use of FIT to detect CRC in patients with abdominal symptoms in primary healthcare as well as in surveillance after adenoma *** aim of this review is to highlight the available evidence on these two *** will summarize the evidence on diagnostic yield in symptomatic patients with CRC and significant colonic lesion and the different options to use this(thresholds,brands,number of determinations,prediction models and combinations).We will include recommendations on FIT strategies in primary healthcare proposed by regulatory bodies and scientific societies and their potential effects on healthcare resources and CRC ***,we will show information regarding FIT-based surveillance as an alternative to endoscopic surveillance after high-risk polyp *** conclude,due to the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic,FIT-based strategies have become extremely relevant since they enable a reduction of colonoscopy demand and access to the healthcare system by selecting individuals with the highest risk of CRC.

Optimized design and field experiment of a staggered vibrating subsoiler for conservation tillage

Soil compaction is a common problem facing conservation fields that restricts crop root growth and causes yield *** techniques have been developed to break up the compaction ***,subsoil implement requires large draft power that hampered the development of subsoil techniques for most of developing countries due to lack of large scale *** to optimize the penetration resistance of the subsoiler and create a good working environment for the operators,a staggered vibrating subsoiler was developed.A new staggered vibrating mechanism was designed to generate the staggered vibration of the shanks meanwhile the V-shape shanks arrangement was adopted to keep relative balance for the *** order to obtain optimum working parameters of the vibration frequency and forward speed,the trajectory of shanks was simulated by using the MATLAB *** forward speed of 2-3 km/h with vibration frequency of 12 Hz was recommended to acquire an effective decrease in draft *** performance of this subsoiler was evaluated in terms of the draft force,power requirement and tractor wheel *** comparing the two operation modes,staggered vibrating(SV)and rigid(nV)of shanks,the decrease ratios of draft force for SV were determined by 16.97%,12.12%and 9.02%at forward speeds of 2.2 km/h,2.6 km/h and 3.1 km/h,*** is better than the research for the 1SZ-460 vibratory subsoiler that was decreased by 9.09%in draft *** power requirement for SV was not significantly greater than that for *** obviously decreased wheel slippage was observed for SV by decrease of 12.47%,17.96%and 21.79%at forward speeds of 2.2 km/h,2.6 km/h and 3.1 km/h,*** conclusion,the staggered vibrating subsoiler presents preferable working performance and is recommended to be applied in subsoil tillage process for developing countries.

Effect of asymmetrical wall heat flux and wall temperature ratio on mixed convection in a vertical micro-porous-channel with internal heat generation

Mixed convective heat transfer in a vertical parallel plate micro-porous channel with internal heat generation and viscous dissipation,varying wall heat flux ratio and wall temperature ratio at the boundaries is investigated using the Darcy-Brinkman model under local thermal non-equilibrium *** solution for both fluid and solid temperature distributions are obtained by applying the finite element *** effect of pertinent parameters such as Brinkman number,Rayleigh number,Darcy number,inter-phase heat transfer coefficient,porosity scaled thermal conductivity ratio and solid internal heat generation are *** results indicate that the nusselt number increases with the increase in the solid internal heat generation as well as Rayleigh number in both wall heat flux ratio and wall temperature ratio boundary *** is observed that with the quantitative increase in viscous dissipation parameter Br,nusselt number nu increases in the presence of internal heat generation and it decreases in the absence of internal heat generation,for a specific range of values of wall heat flux ratio and wall temperature *** this range nu increases with the increase in Dr regardless of internal heat *** the cases,constant wall temperature and wall heat flux ratios,good correlation is observed in the results obtained with that of available in the literature.

Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of several clinical conditions characterized by insulin-resistance and high cardiovascular risk. non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is the liver expression of the metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance can be a frequent comorbidity in several chronic liver diseases, in particular hepatitis C virus infection and/or cirrhosis. Several studies have demonstrated that insulin action is not only relevant for glucose control, but also for vascular homeostasis. Insulin regulates nitric oxide production, which mediates to a large degree the vasodilating, antiinflammatory and antithrombotic properties of a healthy endothelium, guaranteeing organ perfusion. The effects of insulin on the liver microvasculature and the effects of IR on sinusoidal endothelial cells have been studied in animal models of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The hypotheses derived from these studies and the potential translation of these results into humans are critically discussed in this review.

Moringa oleifera leaves are an important source of dietary phytochemicals,such as flavonoids with high antioxidant activity(AOA).These components are however influenced by the post-harvest treatments applied as well as the processing ***,it is crucial to determine the most appropriate post-harvest treatment that preserves or enhances *** this effect the influence of steam blanching,fermentation/oxidation,oven drying and roasting of fresh Moringa leaves on their AOA was *** conditions of time and temperature for each treatment were optimised using response surface *** effect of the different treatments at optimal conditions on phenolic profile and AOA were *** achieved the most significant(pnt in phenolics(43%)and AOA(22–31%),which was accompanied by the formation of 2 new compounds,quercetin-3-O-acetylglucoside and *** blanching had the most deleterious effect on phenolics(-31%)and ***-harvest treatments qualitatively and quantitatively affect phytochemical profile of Moringa leaves.

Background:Medication error can occur throughout the drug treatment process,with special relevance in children given the risk of adverse effects resulting from a medication error is more prevalent than in *** significance of medication error in children is also greater because small error that would be tolerated in adults can cause significant damage in ***,the likelihood of injury is higher than in *** sources:Based on the data published,most medication errors take place in prescribing and administration stages in both *** in account that child's risk factors are different from those of adults,with some specific causes to pediatrics,we have reviewed available data about new technologies as a strategy to reduce pediatric medication ***:Even though there is a lack of standardized definitions and terminology that makes studies difficult to compare,we checked that new technologies have proven to be effectives in reducing medication errors,mainly computerized physician order entry(CPOE)and platforms to aid ***,we also observed that the use of these informatic tools can also generate new ***:Implementation of CPOE programs for pediatrics,communication improvement between healthcare professionals taking care of admitted children and the knowledge of these programs should be the mayor priorities for the safety of hospitalized children.
