大家好，欢迎来听我的演讲。作为视觉生物，我们依靠图像来感知世界、创造含义。假设我让你画一幅人体，你会如何描绘？理想身材反映了这样的社会意义：我们居住的空间不仅是物质的，也是文化的。我们经常通过头发、皮肤、衣服等方面的修饰，以性别、种族、民族、阶级和是否归属某个群体等分类来阐释身材。作为医学人类学家，我研究有关身材的文化概念，以及这些概念如何影响生活和健康。曲线型身材已经流行了几千年。人们认为，石灰石雕像“威伦多夫的维纳斯”反映了过去很受重视的两种价值：繁衍和丰腴。生殖能力强的身体丰满而有曲线，反映出当时女性的理想身材集中表现为丰满和凹凸有致，农业社会中尤其如此。在生育能力方面，从进化的角度看，低腰臀比的身材，也就是沙漏型身材，长期以来被认为更有吸引力。

Photovoltaic conversion was enhanced by directly assemble of a network of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWnTs) onto the surface of n-p junction silicon solar cells. When the density of SWnTs increased from 50 to 400 tubes μm^(-2), an enhancement of 3.92% in energy conversion efficiency was typically obtained. The effect of the SWnTs network is proposed for trapping incident photons and assisting electronic transportation at the interface of silicon solar cells.

Realizing the full potential of ultrahigh-intensity lasers for particle and radiation generation will require multi-beam arrangements due to technology ***,we investigate how to optimize their coupling with solid ***,we show that overlapping two intense lasers in a mirror-like configuration onto a solid with a large preplasma can greatly improve the generation of hot electrons at the target front and ion acceleration at the target *** underlying mechanisms are analyzed through multidimensional particle-in-cell simulations,revealing that the self-induced magnetic fields driven by the two laser beams at the target front are susceptible to reconnection,which is one possible mechanism to boost electron *** addition,the resistive magnetic field generated during the transport of the hot electrons in the target bulk tends to improve their *** simulations also indicate that such effects can be further enhanced by overlapping more than two laser beams.

We consider Einstein gravity extended with quadratic curvature invariants,within which the well-known Ricci-flat Taub-nUT black hole remains a *** analysis of the unstable Lichnerowicz modes in the Taub-nUT background enables us to identify the mass and nUT parameters(m,n)where new Taub-nUT black holes can *** then adopt numerical techniques to construct these new Taub-nUT black holes,which bifurcate away from the Ricci-flat *** the Ricci-flat Taub-nUT,there can exist two new black holes for an appropriate given temperature,making it a total of three if we include the Ricci-flat one.

AIM:To evaluate the effect of femtosecond laser small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE)on the binocular visual function in myopic patients with glasses-free threedimensional(3D)***:Totally 50 myopic patients(39 females and 11 males)with SMILE were enrolled in this prospective *** glasses-free 3D technique was used to evaluate the binocular visual function in these subjects including static stereopsis,dynamic stereopsis,foveal suppression,and binocular balance point of signal to noise ratio(s/n ratio).All subjects received measurements in 1d before operation,and 1d,1wk,and 1mo ***:Both static and dynamic stereopsis showed no significant difference after *** foveal suppression improved significantly 1wk and 1mo after SMILE(P=0.005 and P=0.007 respectively).The binocular balance point of signal to noise ratio showed a significant improvement 1d,1wk and 1mo after SMILE for both eyes(PnCLUSIOn:Glasses-free 3D technique can be used to evaluate the effect of SMILE on the binocular visual function in myopic patients perceptively,and SMILE can improve both foveal suppression and binocular imbalance in these patients.

Farnesoid X receptor(FXR)is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor and plays important roles in the regulation of metabolism and homeostasis of several important physiological substances,such as bile acids,glucose,and *** such,FXR has become a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of several metabolic diseases and liver ***,fargesone A(FA),a natural product from Magnolia fargesii was identified to be a novel,potent FXR agonist that demonstrated good in vitro and in vivo ***,the detailed interaction mechanism of FA with FXR remains *** this study,we employed multiple computational approaches including molecular docking,molecular dynamics simulation,and binding free energy calculation to address the *** comparisons of the structural dynamics and binding free energies,an optimal binding mode was identified,in which FA interacts with FXR via a direct hydrogen bond with His447 and hydrophobic interactions with multiple residues,such as Leu287,Met290,Met328,Ile352,and *** mutants,namely,H447F and L287n,were further constructed to validate the importance of the identified *** anticipate that these findings could be helpful for future rational design of new FA analogues targeting FXR.

Photocatalytic oxygen reduction for hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))synthesis presents a green and costeffective production ***,achieving highly selective H_(2)O_(2)synthesis remains challenging,necessitating precise control over free radical reaction pathways and minimizing undesirable oxidative ***,we report for the visible light-driven simultaneous co-photocatalytic reduction of O2to H_(2)O_(2)and oxidation of biomass using the atomic rubidium-nitride modified carbon nitride(CnRb).The optimized CnRb catalyst demonstrates a record photoreduction rate of 8.01 mM h^(-1)for H_(2)O_(2)generation and photooxidation rate of 3.75 mM h^(-1)for furfuryl alcohol to furoic acid,achieving a remarkable solar-to-chemical conversion(SCC)efficiency of up to 2.27%.Experimental characterizations and DFT calculation disclosed that the introducing atomic Rb–n configurations allows for the high-selective generation of superoxide radicals while suppressing hydroxyl free radical *** is because the Rb–n serves as the new alternative site to perceive a stronger connection position for O2adsorption and reinforce the capability to extract protons,thereby triggering a high selective redox product *** study holds great potential in precisely regulating reactive radical processes at the atomic level,thereby paving the way for efficient synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)coupled with biomass valorization.
