natural rubber latex （nRL） and methyl methacrylate （mmA） graf.ed rubber latex were blended in dif.erent ratios and irradiated at various absorbed doses by gamma rays f.om co-60 source at room tem.e.ature. The tensile properties, swelling ratio and permanent set were measured. The maximum tensile strength and modulus at 500% elongation were obtained at an absorbed dose of.8 kGy. modulus increases f.om 6.99 mPa to 9.87 mPa f.r an increase in proportion of.mmA graf.ed rubber f.om 40% to 60% in the blend at similar absorbed dose. elongation at break and swelling ratio decrease with increasing absorbed dose as well as the mmA graf.ed rubber content in the blends. The decreasing trend of.permanent set is high up to 5 kGy absorbed dose, and beyond that dose, it becomes almost f.at.

The ef.ect of.storage on physico-chemical properties of.non-irradiated natural rubber and radiation vulcanized natural rubber （RVnR） were evaluated. The rubber f.lms were stored under two dif.erent conditions, namely in open air and sealed polyethylene bags. The antioxidant, tris（nonylated phenyl） phosphite （TnPP） was used f.r preventing degradation of.RVnR f.lms. Gel content, cross-link density, tensile strength at break and 500% elongation of.rubber f.lms were measured. The results show that the retention （%） of.tensile properties of.rubber f.lms with TnPP is higher than that of.rubber f.lms without antioxidants. The rubber f.lms stored in polyethylene bags also show better retention of.tensile properties than those of.rubber f.lms stored in open air.

Background Anthonomus grandis grandis is the main.c.tton pest in the Americas,with the potential to become a pest in other *** insect uses the plant's reproductive organs f.r f.eding,oviposition,and survival strategies in the of.-season,sheltering in dry *** study aimed to know the reproductive potential,f.eding,longevity,and morphometric characteristics of.boll weevils f.om dry bolls,squares,and *** were obtained f.om inf.sted squares,dry bolls,and traps installed in.c.tton f.elds and the caatinga *** weevil pairs were maintained in the laboratory to assess the oviposition,f.eding holes,longevity,and morphometric measurements of.the parental and f.(1) *** In the parental generation,boll weevils f.om traps(the caatinga area and cotton.c.ltivation)showed greater reproductive *** weevils f.om squares and the caatinga area showed greater f.eding activity compared with those f.om cotton *** rostrum length,thorax+abdomen length,and abdomen width were observed in boll weevils f.om cotton.c.ltivation and dry *** origin of.boll weevils parental generation did not af.ect progeny emergence *** f.(1) generation of.boll weevils showed signif.cant dif.erences in average longevity depending on the origin of.dif.erent ***,dif.erences in rostrum lengths were observed,with the boll weevils coming f.om traps installed in.c.tton.c.ltivation,the caatinga area,and dry bolls being the *** thorax+abdomen length and abdomen width,the highest values were observed in those f.om the caatinga area and cotton *** It was proven that dry bolls did not af.ect the reproductive,f.eding,and longevity perf.rmance of.boll weevils,enabling better insect f.tness(reproduction and size)in relation to those coming f.om *** use of.dry bolls as of.-season shelter is an important survival strategy f.r the boll weevil.

Objective:To evaluate the polio laboratory surveillance carried out f.om January,2019 to may,2023 by the Polio Regional Ref.rence Laboratory,Sri ***:This retrospective study analyzed all stool samples received under the acute f.accid paralysis(Af.)and immunodef.cient vaccine-derived poliovirus(VDPV)surveillance at Polio Regional Ref.rence Laboratory,Sri Lanka f.om January,2019 to may,*** results of.the testing methodologies were extracted f.om the laboratory data system,i.e.,poliovirus virus isolation,intra-typic dif.erentiation/VDPV real time reverse tran.c.iptase polymerase chain reaction(ITD/VDPV rRTPcR)and sequencing,along with the data on timing of.reporting results,stool adequacy and *** was analyzed using descriptive ***:A total of.2141 stool samples f.om 1644 cases were received f.r Af. surveillance f.om Sri Lanka(93.61%),maldives(1.52%),and immunodef.cient VDPV(4.86%)*** polioviruses(19/1644,1.15%)and non-polio enteroviruses(73/1644,4.44%)were isolated,while Sabin-like 3 virus was detected in majority(12/19,63.15%)among the poliovirus *** polioviruses or circulating VDPVs were not detected among the *** all years of.the study,the non-polio Af. detection rate was>1/100000 in.c.ildren aged less than 15 years,whereas stool adequacy rate was>80%.All results were reported within 14 days of.receipt,ensuring timely reporting as per global ***:The Polio Regional Ref.rence Laboratory,Sri Lanka plays a vital role in maintaining the polio-f.ee status in the country through its robust laboratory surveillance,while adhering to the surveillance ***-detection of.wild polioviruses and circulating VDPV during the study period reinf.rces the polio-f.ee status in the country.

This paper validates the optimal operation f.r a grid-conn.c.ed double-f.d induction generator (Df.G) in an oscillating water column power plant (OWcPP). This study presents a novel optimization technique called the circulatory system-based optimization (cSBO) approach to develop six adaptive f.zzy logic controllers (Af.cs) with 30 parameters and compare them to chaotic-billiards optimization (c-BO) and genetic algorithm (GA). The proposed controller is also compared with a proportional-integral dif.erential (PID) controller based on a self.adaptive global-best harmony search (SGHS). cSBO-based Af.cs are f.lly investigated under dif.erent scenarios and experimented with using a real-time interf.ce DSP1104. The results of.using cSBO-Af.cs revealed a f.st time response, f.st convergence, less overshoot and minimal error compared with those achieved with c-BO-Af.c, SGHS-PID and GA-Af.c during dif.erent case studies. The cSBO-based Af.cs ensure maximum power f.om the Df.G in an OWcPP and enhance dynamic response with very low errors. The results show that the cSBO shows better power tracking by 25% as compared with c-BO, by 45% when.c.mpared with the GA and by 56% when.c.mpared with PID. moreover, the integral absolute errors of.six controllers are investigated to demonstrate the f.asibility of.cSBO-Af.c. The root mean square of.the errors of.six controllers using cSBO is improved by 68.27% when.c.mpared with GA, by 22.57% when.c.mpared with c-BO and by 38.42% when.c.mpared with PID. These indicators demonstrate the f.asibility of.cSBO when.c.mpared with other algorithms with the same OWcPP. This paper validates the optimal operation of.a grid-conn.c.ed double-f.d induction generator in an oscillating water column using a novel optimization technique called the circulatory system-based optimization approach. experiments using a real-time simulator demonstrate the f.asibility of.the approach when.c.mpared with other algorithms. One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 meV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identif.ed twoγ-rays f.eding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of.complete f.sion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction.c.annel calculation was perf.rmed to study the detailed reaction mechanism of.the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the f.rst excited state of.5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transf.r mechanism,and the valence proton of.209Bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

The universal cluster expansion technique was used in this study to determine the binary phase diagrams f.r the transition metal carbonate precursors mcO3(m:mn,ni,co).The use of.mixed cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries such as n.c.ni,mn and co)f.rmulations,is a strategic approach to optimize perf.rmance,enhance saf.ty and address cost and environmental considerations in the rapidly evolving f.eld of.energy *** study f.cuses on the cost issue related to lithium ion batteries by investigating the manganese rich n.c.since manganese is more abundant and *** doped mncO3 with n.c.el and doped mncO3 with cobalt then ran.c.uster expansion.c.lculations to generate binary *** binary phase diagrams generated indicated that doping mncO3 with n.c.el f.vours the mn-rich side,while doping mncO3 with cobalt f.vours 50%mn-rich and 50%*** f.rther extracted the most stable structures f.om both binary diagrams and determined their electron.c.mechan.c.l and vibrational stabilities using Df.(density f.nctional theory)calculations within the LDA(local gradient approximation)with Hubbard parameter(U).The electron.c.properties revealed that both materials are semiconductors due to their narrow energy band gap obtained while the mechan.c.l properties showed that structures are mechan.c.lly stable since their n.c.ssary conditions f.r trigonal and triclin.c.systems were satisf.ed.

Background The nationally determined contribution（n.c. presented by Argentina within the f.amework of.the Paris Agreement is aligned with the decisions made in the context of.the United nations f.amework conven-tion on.c.imate change（Un.c.c） on the reduction of.emissions derived f.om def.restation and f.rest degradation, as well as f.rest carbon.c.nservation（ReDD+）. In addition, climate change constitutes one of.the greatest threats to f.rest biodiversity and ecosystem services. However, the soil organ.c.carbon（SOc） stocks of.native f.rests have not been incorporated into the f.rest Ref.rence emission Levels calculations and f.r conservation planning under cli-mate variability due to a lack of.inf.rmation. The objectives of.this study were:（i） to model SOc stocks to 30 cm of.native f.rests at a national scale using climatic, topographic and vegetation as predictor variables, and（ii） to relate SOc stocks with spatial–temporal remotely sensed indices to determine biodiversity conservation.c.ncerns due to threats f.om high inter-annual climate *** We used 1040 f.rest soil samples（0–30 cm） to generate spatially explicit estimates of.SOc native f.rests in Argentina at a spatial resolution of.approximately 200 m. We selected 52 potential predictive environmental covari-ates, which represent key f.ctors f.r the spatial distribution of.SOc. All covariate maps were uploaded to the Google earth engine cloud-based computing platf.rm f.r subsequent modelling. To determine the biodiversity threats f.om high inter-annual climate variability, we employed the spatial–temporal satellite-derived indices based on enhanced Vegetation Index（eVI） and land surf.ce tem.e.ature（LST） images f.om Landsat *** SOc model（0–30 cm depth） prediction accounted f.r 69% of.the variation of.this soil property across the whole native f.rest coverage in Argentina.
