background:This study aimed to determine the effect of different carbohydrate(CHO)doses on exercise capacity in patients with McArdle disease—the paradigm of“exercise intolerance”,characterized by complete muscle glycogen unavailability—and to determine whether higher exogenous glucose levels affect metabolic responses at the McArdle muscle cell(in vitro)***:Patients with McArdle disease(n=8)and healthy controls(n=9)underwent a 12-min submaximal cycling constant-load bout followed by a maximal ramp test 15 min after ingesting a non-caloric *** a randomized,double-blinded,cross-over design,patients repeated the tests after consuming either 75 g or 150 g of CHO(glucose:fructose=2:1).Cardiorespiratory,biochemical,perceptual,and electromyographic(EMG)variables were ***,glucose uptake and lactate appearance were studied in vitro in wild-type and McArdle mouse myotubes cultured with increasing glucose concentrations(0.35,1.00,4.50,and 10.00 g/L).Results:Compared with controls,patients showed the“classical”second-wind phenomenon(after prior disproportionate tachycardia,myalgia,and excess electromyographic activity during submaximal exercise,all pnd an impaired endurance exercise capacity(-51%ventilatory threshold and55%peak power output,both pboth doses compared with the placebo),CHO intake increased blood glucose and lactate levels,decreased fat oxidation rates,and attenuated the second wind in the ***,only the higher dose increased ventilatory threshold(+27%,p=0.010)and peak power output(+18%,p=0.007).In vitro analyses revealed no differences in lactate levels across glucose concentrations in wild-type myotubes,whereas a doseresponse effect was observed in McArdle ***:CHO intake exerts beneficial effects on exercise capacity in McArdle disease,a condition associated with total muscle glycogen *** of these benefits are dose dependent.

The underwater X-ray imaging technology development is significant to subaqueous target reconnaissance/detection/identification, subfluvial archaeology,submerged resource exploration, etc. As the core of X-ray imaging detection, the scintillator has been plagued by inherent moisture absorption and decomposition, and strict requirements for seamless packaging and ***, we designed a manganese-doped two-dimensional(2D) perovskite scintillator modified by hydrophobic longchain organic amine through the combination of component and doping engineering. The modified perovskites show high water repellency that can.b. used as an underwater X-ray scintillator. X-ray images of aquatic organisms or other objects with a high spatial resolution of10 lp·mm^(-1) at a big view field(32 mm × 32 mm) were obtained by scintillation screen. This hydrophobic perovskite scintillator based on molecular design is of great promise in underwater X-ray nondestructive testing technology development.

In this paper,we analyzed the physical characteristics of the ternary alloys RE_(2)Rh_(3)Ge(RE=Pr and Sm)using the first principles calculation.b.sed on functional density theory integrated in the Wien2k *** calculated formation energies of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are−5.3827 and−5.2782 eV/atom,respectively,showing that these alloys may exist *** results of the band structure and density of states indicate that all of the compounds tested are magnetic metals,and their magnetism is mostly related to the contribution of Pr and Sm *** total magnetic moments of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge are 4.07245 and 11.16161μb/f.u,*** parameters such as heat capacity at constant pressure,entropy,Debye temperature,lattice volume,compressibility coefficients,and Grüneisen parameter alloys were calculated using the Gibbs algorithm and studied in depth over a large temperature range of 0-900 *** Debye temperature increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing ***,the Debye temperatures calculated at p=0 GPa and T=300 K are equal to be 342 and 322 K for Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm_(2)Rh_(3)Ge,*** optical characteristics such as the real and imaginary portions of the dielectric function,the absorption coefficient,the energy-loss function,and the refractive index were investigated and discussed in more depth.

The influence of intergalactic magnetic fields on the strong gravitational lensing of blazar secondary gamma radiation is ***,two cases of strong gravitational lensing of blazar gamma-radiation are known,where radiation is deflected by galaxies on the line of sight between the blazars and *** magnetic field can affect the movements of electron-positron pairs generated by primary radiation,thereby changing the directions of secondary gamma *** modifies the equation of the gravitational lens and leads to the dependence of the observed signal in the secondary gamma radiation on the energy of photons and magnetic ***,it is possible,in principle,to estimate the intergalactic magnetic fields from the time delay of signals,from the angular position of images(for future high-resolution gamma-ray telescopes)or from the shape of the observed energy *** method is demonstrated by the example of the blazar b0218+*** this case,however,it is not possible to obtain useful constraints due to the large distances to the blazar and lens *** result is only a lower limit on the magnetic field b>2×10^(−17)G,which is weaker than other existing ***,future discoveries of lensed blazars may provide more favorable opportunities for measuring the magnetic fields,especially with the help of a new generation of gamma-ray telescopes such as e-ASTROGAM,GECAM,and SVOM as well as future gamma-ray telescopes with a high angular resolution,∼0.1″.

以氯化胆碱和乙二醇混合液为低共熔溶剂,不使用其他添加剂,电化学沉积无枝晶Zn/Au合金。在不同的Zn(Ⅱ)浓度下,采用恒电位电沉积法在相对较低的Zn电沉积过电位下进行电沉积。通过循环伏安法(CV)和计时安培法(CA)揭示Zn电沉积的电化学机理。采用扫描电子显微镜和X射线衍射分析(XRD)对沉积层的形貌和结构进行表征,并用能谱仪对沉积层进行元素分析。CV结果表明,Zn的电沉积始于Zn欠电位沉积区,并一直持续到Zn过电位沉积(OPD)区。随着Zn(Ⅱ)浓度的增加,Zn/Zn(Ⅱ)电偶的沉积电位向更高的正值偏移。CA分析表明,在Zn的OPD区开始三维渐进形核,随后形成三维生长。形貌分析表明,电沉积始于致密Zn岛的形成,随后形成无枝晶Zn/Au合金。XRD分析表明,其物相为金属Zn、立方AuZn3和Au Zn金属间化合物。
