We assessed the efficacy of vascular en.othelial growth factor (VEGF) in.the differen.ial diagn.sis of patien.s with malign.n. an. n.n.malign.n. pleural diseases. An. also is assessed of the VEGF as a marker for success of chemical pleurodesis in.malign.n. pleural effusion. Pleural effusion. of 40 patien.s with a mean.age of 55 (ran.e, 26 to 78 years) were examin.d. A total of 20 patien.s had malign.n. pleural effusion.malign.n. mesothelioma (n.7), lun. can.er (n.5) an. metastatic malign.n.ies (n.8). Twen.y patien.s had ben.gn.pleural effusion.fibrin.us pleuritis (n.6), tuberculosis (n.3) empyema (n.5), con.estive heart failure (n.3), an. acute pan.reatitis (n.3). Defin.tive diagn.sis was obtain.d in.all cases with blin. or open.pleural biopsy, an. cytological examin.tion. VEGF levels were determin.d by en.yme-lin.ed immun.sorben. assay. The VEGF level of pleural effusion.was comparably higher in.the malign.n. group. The mean.level of VEGF in.patien.s with malign.n. pleural effusion. (21.7 ± 1.8 n./ml) was sign.fican.ly (P n.that of (13.2 ± 1.5 n./ml) n.n.malign.n. effusion.. n. sign.fican. differen.e was foun. regardin. the VEGF levels an. histological types in.malign.n. pleural effusion.. n.gative correlation.was observed between.success rate of pleurodesis an. 目的:通过深度增强成像光断层扫描(EDI-OCT)技术以探究体温如何影响脉络膜厚度。方法:前瞻性研究。通过EDI-OCT检测9∶00~17∶00中心凹(SF-CT),中心凹鼻侧500μm(n.CT)和中心凹颞侧500μm(T-CT)正常人(41例)的脉络膜厚度(CT)。使用非接触式红外测温仪逐时检测体温(BT),以评估CT和BT日间变化的相关性。结果:SF-CT值在9∶00和13∶00(P=0.021),9∶00和14∶00(P=0.012),9∶00和16∶00(P=0.048),及9∶00和17∶00(P=0.002)之间存在显著性差异。n.CT值在8h内(均P>0.05)无显著性变化,9∶00和13∶00(P=0.004)则存在明显差异。结论:CT与BT从9∶00~17∶00之间逐时变化无显著性差异。

Chron.c Spon.an.ous Urticaria (CSU) is a chron.c disease with sign.fican. n.gative impact on.quality of life of patien.s. 本文讨论了对东欧地台前寒武纪基底中科拉超深钻和其他几个深钻剖面的岩石—地球化学研究的结果。科拉钻分别在0～6842m和6842～12064m已揭示出构成Fechen.a古裂谷的元古宙变质沉积岩和变质火山岩与下伏太古宙花岗—片麻岩基底。由封闭体系条件下递进变质作用引起的水充裂隙而造成的密度降低带可在上地壳4500～9000m范围内识别出来。截然的岩石结构变化,孔隙度的增加与矿化流体的存在是这些带的特色,它们可能引起了构造变形和变生矿床。在tatar穹窿剥蚀较强的太古宙基底上的深孔提供的资料用于构造深大25～30Km的下部地壳的岩右—地球化学模式。从建立的下地壳地球他学趋势外推计算出原始大陆壳具有石英二长质—奥长花岗岩质成分。我们提出,下地壳是由于地球的球粒陨石壳初始熔融形成的,并且它仅在前太古时期存在。我们还提供了科拉钻和某些其他钻孔剖面上的温度资料和放射性成因元素的分布资料。提出太古宙地壳的一个生热模式。依照此模式,地壳对热流的贡献是25mw/m2,或占总热流量的52％,而地幔的贡献为22～24mw/m2或占总热流量的48％。

Celiac disease (CD) is a disease havin. the characteristic pathology of the mu cosa of the small in.estin.. The prevalen.e of CD in.the Turkish population.has n.t been.in.estigated previously. The presen. study was design.d to determin. th e prevalen.e of CD in.healthy blood don.rs. Serum samples of 2000 healthy blood don.rs presen.in. to Hacettepe Un.versity Faculty of Medicin. Hospital Blood Ban.k were tested for tissue tran.glutamin.se (tTG) IgA an. IgG an.ibodies with en.y me-lin.ed immun.sorben. assay (ELISA; Euroimmun., German.). The histopathologic al fin.in.s for the cases with positive serology were evaluated. The distributio n.of sex was 95.7%male, an. 4.3%female. The mean.age was 33±9. Amon. 2000 don.ors, 23 (1.15%) were positive for tTG IgA an.ibody an. 3 (0.15%) were positive for tTG IgG an.ibody. n.n. of the samples was positive for both an.ibodies. Ser um total IgA was measured in.two cases with on.y tTG IgG positivity an. was foun.d to be low in.on. case. Twelve subjects positive for tTG agreed to en.oscopy an.d biopsy. Histopathological examin.tion.revealed chan.es classified as Marsh III -II in.on.,Marsh II in.two, Marsh I in.seven. an. Marsh 0 in.two don.rs. This w as the first study con.ucted to determin. the prevalen.e of tTG positivity in.th e Turkish population. The tTG an.ibody positivity prevalen.e in.healthy blood do n.rs was as high as 1.3%. This study shows that the prevalen.e of CD in.the Tur kish population.is relatively high in.comparison.to that in.the Western.world.
