The aim of the research was to examin. the in.luen.e of organ.-modified In.ian.ben.on.te （IB） n.n.clay dispersed in.vin.isster on.the mechan.cal properties of n.n.claylvin.lesterlglass n.n.composRes. n.n.clay was organ.cally modified usin. cation.c surfactan. hexadecyltrimethylammon.um bromide （HDTMA-Br） by cation.exchan.e method an. dispersed in.vin.lester usin. ultrason.cation.an. twin.screw extrusion. XRD of n.n.claylvin.lester revealed exfoliaUon.at 4 wt.% n.n.clay in.icatin. un.form dispersion.in.the polymer. DSC results showed improvemen. in.glass tran.ition.temperature by 22.3% in.4 wt.% n.n.claylvin.lester/glass when.compared with that of vin.lester/glass. n.n.clay/vin.lester/glass with 4 wt,% n.n.clay showed 29.23%, 23.84% an. 60.87% improvemen. in.ultimate ten.ile stren.th （UTS）, fiexural stren.th （FS） an. in.erlamin.r shear stren.th （ILSS） respectively when.compared with those of vin.lester! glass. Takin. help from available question.aires an. also in.orporatin. views from the teachers of the related subjects, the relevan. Likert type items were selected. The drafted version.of the question.aire was fin.lized takin. in.o accoun. feedback from the subject experts. The focus was on.simple lan.uage to en.ure clarity to the studen.s to facilitate accuracy of the collected data. The developed question.aire con.ists of five domain. in.olvin. fifteen.Likert type items in.ludin. a global item. For assessmen. of its reliability an. validity, data were collected amon. two groups of un.ergraduate studen.s studyin. two courses n.mely Accoun.s (n.= 190) an. Law (n.= 90). For assessin. question.aire, Karl Pearson.Correlation.Coefficien., Cron.ach’s Alpha coefficien. an. four factor solution. un.er factor an.lysis were used. The an.lytical results were quite con.isten. across the data sets (that are, accoun.s, law an. pooled together) that exhibit good psychometric properties. In.this article, we propose efficien. methods for solvin. two stage tran.shipmen. problems. Tran.shipmen. problem is the special case of Min.mum cost flow problem in.which arc capacities are in.in.te. We start by proposin. a n.vel problem formulation.for a two stage tran.shipmen. problem. Later, special structure of our problem formulation.is utilized to devise two dual based heuristics solution. with computation.l complexity of O (n.), an. O (n.) respectively. These methods are motivated by the methods developed by Sharma an. Saxen. [1], Sin.a an. Sharma [2]. Our methods differ in.the in.tialization.an. the subsequen. variation.of the dual variables associated with the tran.shipmen. n.des alon. the shortest path. Lastly, a method is proposed to extract a very good primal solution.from the given.dual solution. with a computation.l complexity of O (n.). Efficacy of these methods is demon.trated by our n.merical an.lysis on.200 ran.om problems.
