Backgroun.: Chron.c ven.us in.ufficien.y (CVI) describes a con.ition.that affects the ven.us system of the lower extremities due to ven.us hyperten.ion.(VH. The prevalen.e is between.5% - 30%. CVI is associated with older age, smokin., lower extremity trauma, presen.e of an.arterioven.us shun., an. elevated estrogen.levels. All patien.s should be in.tially treated with con.ervative man.gemen.. Ven.active drugs like calcium dobesilate are useful. Objectives: The primary objective compared the clin.cal improvemen. in.patien.s with CVI, grades 0 - 3 of the CEAP classification.of chron.c ven.us disease, produced by two formulation. of calcium dobesilate: calcium dobesilate LP 1 g OD vs calcium dobesilate 500 mg BID, immediate release. The secon.ary objective assessed the side effects of both formulation.. method: All patien.s took on. tablet an. on. capsule at 7 am, an. on. capsule at 7 pm, for 8 weeks. On. group received dobesilate 1 g OD an. the other group received dobesilate 500 md BID. They were evaluated after 15, 30 an. 60 days of treatmen., usin. the symptom evaluation.scale. Results: In.both groups, there was a sign.fican. decrease in.the symptom score after 15 days. Four patien.s in.the Dobesilate OD group: had adverse effects, which did n.t require suspen.ion.of treatmen.. In.the BID dobesilate group, there was on. therapeutic failure, an. on. case of gastric discomfort. Con.lusion.: Prolon.ed-release Calcium dobesilate 1 g OD is as effective as calcium dobesilate 500 mg BID for the treatmen. of patien.s with chron.c ven.us in.ufficien.y.

At presen.,the prediction.of brain.tumors is performed usin. machin. Learn.n.(mL)an. Deep Learn.n.(DL)*** various mL an. DL algorithms are adapted to predict brain.tumors to some ran.e,some con.ern. still n.ed en.an.emen.,particularly accuracy,sen.itivity,false positive an. false n.gative,to improve the brain.tumor prediction.system ***,this work proposed an.Exten.ed Deep Learn.n. Algorithm(EDLA)to measure performan.e parameters such as accuracy,sen.itivity,an. false positive an. false n.gative *** addition.these iterated measures were an.lyzed by comparin. the EDLA method with the Con.olution.l n.ural n.twork(Cn.)way further usin. the SPSS tool,an. respective graphical illustration. were *** results were that the mean.performan.e measures for the proposed EDLA algorithm were calculated,an. those measured were accuracy(97.665%),sen.itivity(97.939%),false positive(3.012%),an. false n.gative(3.182%)for ten.*** in.the case of the Cn.,the algorithm mean. accuracy gain.d was 94.287%,mean.sen.itivity 95.612%,mean.false positive 5.328%,an. mean.false n.gative 4.756%.These results show that the proposed EDLA method has outperformed existin. algorithms,in.ludin. The aim of the presen. study was to compare the ixodicide efficacy of 1% permethrin.applied as a shampoo-bath in.sin.le treatmen. an. a combin.d formulation.of 2% permethrin.+ 1% piperon.l butoxide applied as powder in.a sin.le treatmen. again.t Rhipicephalus san.uin.us ticks, in.n.turally in.ested dogs. Eighteen.adult cross-mixed dogs, harborin. to at least 20 ticks/an.mal, were selected on.pre-treatmen. live tick coun.s. On.day 0, the dogs were then.divided in.3 groups of 6 an.mals each, for treatmen.: Group 1 (G1) received 1% permethrin.applied as shampoo-bath (approximately 10 ml/kg bw), accordin. to label in.truction.. G2 was treated with 2% permethrin.+ 1% piperon.l butoxide applied as powder, an. rubbed as massage on.the body, as recommen.ed by the producer. G3 served as a n.n.treated con.rol. After the treatmen., the dogs were checked out for live ticks coun.in. on.days 0, 1, 7, an. 14. The ixodicide efficacy was assessed based on.the percen.age reduction. of ticks on.the days an.lyzed post-treatmen., with respect to the un.reated con.rol. Results showed that permethrin.alon. removed ticks on.81%, 93.1% an. 89.6% for days 1, 7 an. 14, respectively. The combin.d formulation.of 2% permethrin.+ 1% piperon.l butoxide exerted a better efficacy of 98.8, 97.7 an. 97.0%, respectively. It is con.luded that this combin.d formulation.was highly effective at rapidly repellin. an. killin. Riphicephalus san.uin.us ticks on.n.turally in.ected dogs, showin. a sign.fican. effect on.days 1, 7 an. 14 after tick exposure. The sustain.d high an. quick level of efficacy of this combin.tion.may well in.erfere with the tran.mission.of Riphicephalus san.uin.us ticks. It is con.luded that the sustain.d high level of efficacy of the permethrin.+ piperon.l butoxide combin.tion.may well exert an.additive effect an. could in.erfere with the tran.mission.of Riphicephalus san.uin.us ticks.
