Bac.groun.: Elec.roen.ephalography (EEG) is established for evaluatin. several ac.te an. c.ron.c.medic.l c.n.ition. of n.urologic.l basis. In.muc. of n.geria an. Afric., it is largely un.vailable an. un.erutilized due to sc.rc.ty of n.urologists an. high c.sts of the equipmen.. It offers a relatively simple an. effic.en. way to help man.ge man. en.ephalopathies if well utilized in.train.d han.s. Aim: This study aimed to determin. how physic.an. prac.ic.n. in.En.gu perc.ive an. utilize elec.roen.ephalography routin.ly. Method: Physic.an. atten.in. a statewide meetin. in.En.gu in.August 2018 were c.n.ec.tively rec.uited an. a pretested question.aire was admin.stered after obtain.n. prior c.n.en.. Soc.odemographic.data as well as their kn.wledge, attitude an. prac.ic. of elec.roen.ephalography were doc.men.ed an. an.lyzed. Results: There were 486 respon.en.s (males 335: females 151) an. 345 (71%) were spec.alists in.various disc.plin.s while 141 (29%) were gen.ral prac.ition.rs. On.y 7 doc.ors (1.4%) c.aimed ign.ran.e of elec.roen.ephalography an. 6 (1.2%) stated it was n.t useful. Majority, 333 doc.ors (69.1%) believed it had n. impac. on.routin. patien. man.gemen.. This perc.ption.was highest for Den.al Surgery (100%) an. lowest for In.ern.l Medic.n. (23%) spec.alists. Most doc.ors (425, 87.4%) agreed that n.urologists should an.lyze rec.rdin.s. Most physic.an. had n. ac.ess to elec.roen.ephalography (61.7%) an. had n. in.erest in.ac.uirin. the mac.in. (50.8%). c.n.lusion. Elec.roen.ephalography is an.un.erapprec.ated in.estigative modality amon.st physic.an. in.En.gu, despite a high burden.of n.urologic.l diseases in.the population. More educ.tion. train.n. an. awaren.ss of its utility are n.eded for medic.l studen.s an. doc.ors to reverse the tren..

Bac.groun.: Felt stigma is a major soc.al an. psyc.ologic.l problem in.epilepsy an. man.fests the fear or expec.ation. of suc. “reac.ion.” from people. Un.erstan.in. of the pattern.an. prevalen.e of felt stigma gives an.in.ight in.o the burden.of this “sec.n. illn.ss” of epilepsy in.southeast n.geria. Methods: c.n.ec.tive c.n.en.in. adult epilepsy patien.s atten.in. a n.urology outpatien. in.En.gu southeast n.geria were in.erviewed. Data on.felt stigma was also c.llec.ed usin. a sc.le for c.llec.ion.of stigma data on.stigma design.d by Jac.by et al. Results: A total of 295 patien.s were in.erviewed durin. the study (165 (55.9%) males an. 130 (44.1%) females). About 29.4% (88/295) felt stigmatized an. 82.1% of them highly so. c.rrelates of felt stigma were age of on.et (n.gatively), seizure frequen.y, duration.of epilepsy, use of n.n.orthodox treatmen., seizures oc.urrin. in.public.an. the presen.e of physic.l in.uries. Predic.ors of felt stigma were havin. seizures in.public.(R2 = 0.232, p c.n.lusion.: Felt epilepsy stigma is c.mmon.amon. patien.s atten.in. urban.tertiary hospital in.southeast n.geria. Several preven.able fac.ors are assoc.ated with this phen.men.n.hen.e efforts aimed at preven.in. epilepsy should also target felt stigma preven.ion.

The flexibility in.radiotherapy c.n.be improved if patien.s c.n.be moved between.an. on. of the departmen.’s medic.l lin.ar ac.elerators (LIn.c.) without the n.ed to c.an.e an.thin. in.the patien.’s treatmen. plan. For this to be possible, the dosimetric.c.arac.eristic. of the various ac.elerators must be the same, or n.arly the same. The purpose of this work is to desc.ibe further an. c.mpare measuremen.s an. parameters after the in.tial ven.or-rec.mmen.ed beam matc.in. of the five LIn.c.. Deviation. related to dose c.lc.lation. an. to beam matc.ed ac.elerators may c.mpromise treatmen. ac.urac.. The safest an. most prac.ic.l way to en.ure that all ac.elerators are within.c.in.c.l ac.eptable ac.urac. is to in.lude TPS c.lc.lation. in.the LIn.c. matc.in. evaluation. Treatmen. plan.in. system (TPS) was used to c.eate three photon. plan. with differen. field sizes 3 × 3 c., 10 × 10 c. an. 25 × 25 c. at a depth of 4.5 c. in.Perspex. c.lc.lated TPS plan. were sen. to Mosaiq to be delivered by five LIn.c.. TPS plan. were c.mpared with five LIn.c. measuremen.s data usin. Gamma an.lyses of 2% an. 2 mm. The results suggest that for four out of the five LIn.c., there was gen.rally good agreemen., less than.a 2% deviation.between.the plan.ed dose distribution.an. the measured dose distribution. However, on. spec.fic.LIn.c.n.med “Asterix” exhibited a deviation.of 2.121% from the plan.ed dose. The results show that all of the LIn.c.’ performan.e were within.the ac.eptable deviation.an. deliverin. radiation.dose c.n.isten.ly an. ac.urately.

The possibility of the life origin.in.the stellar systems, loc.ted at a distan.e of ~200 pc.from the solar system, was in.estigated. The stars, in.the spec.rums of whic. c.(c.rbon., O (oxygen., n.(n.trogen., an. P (phosphorus) are foun., are c.lled Dn.-stars. Based on.stellar abun.an.es a n.w method for searc.in. for habitable exoplan.ts has been.developed an. a list of 48 Dn.-stars in.the solar n.ighborhood, on.whic. life is possible, has been.defin.d. The quota of Dn.-stars is equal 1.3% of the total amoun. of Hypatia Stellar c.talog. On.y three Dn.-stars out of selec.ed 48 stars belon. to the spec.ral c.ass as our Sun.(G2V). The c.osest to the solar system is the Dn.-star with the n.mber HIP 15510, whic. belon.s to the G8V c.ass an. is 6 pc.away from the solar system. n.n. Dn.-stars, whic. have the highest c.emic.l similarity with solar spec.rum, were iden.ified. It is iden.ified that on. of these n.n. stars, HIP 24681, has six plan.ts.
