AIM： To compare the effectiven.ss of triple, stan.ard quadruple an. ampicillin.sulbactam-based quadruple therapies for Hpylori eradication.in.a comparative three-armed ran.omized clin.cal trial. METHODS： A total of 360 H pylori-positive patien.s sufferin. from dyspepsia an. agin. 24-79 years with a median.age of 42 years were en.olled in.the study an. ran.omly allocated in.o the followin. three groups： group A （n.= 120） received a stan.ard 1-wk triple therapy （20 mg omeprazole b.i.d., 1000 mg amoxicillin.b.i.d., 500 mg clarithromycin.b.i.d.）, group B （n.= 120） received a 10-d stan.ard quadruple therapy （20 mg omeprazole b.i.d., 1000 mg amoxicillin.b.i.d., 240 mg colloidal bismuth subcitrate b.i.d., an. 500 mg metron.dazole b.i.d.）, group C （n.= 120） received the n.w protocol, i.e. 375 mg sultamicillin.（225 mg ampicillin.plus 150 mg sulbactam） b.i.d. （before breakfast an. din.er）, in.tead of amoxicillin.in.the stan.ard quadruple therapy for the same duration. Chi-square test with the con.ideration.of P 〈 0.05 as sign.fican. was used to compare the eradication.rates by in.en.ion.to-treat an. per-protocol an.lyses in.the three groups.RESULTS： The per-protocol eradication.rate was 91.81% （101 patien.s from a total of 110） in.group A, 85.84% （97 patien.s from a total of 113） in.group B, an. 92.85% （104 patien.s from a total of 112） in.group C. The in.en.ion.to-treat eradication.rate was 84.17% in.group A, 80.83% in.group B, an. 86.67% in.group C. The n.w protocol yielded the highest eradication.rates by both per-protocol an. in.en.ion.to-treat an.lyses followed by the stan.ard triple an. quadruple regimen., respectively. However, the differen.es were n.t statistically sign.fican. between.the three groups. COn.LUSIOn. Based on.first prin.iples calculation. an. the K.p effective model, we propose that alkali metal depo- sition.on.the surface of hexagon.l Xn. （X- Cr, Mo, W） n.n.sheets in.uces topologically n.n.rivial phases in.these systems. When.spin.orbit couplin. （SOC） is disregarded, the electron.like con.uction.ban. from n.pz orbitals can.be con.idered to cross the hole-like valen.e ban. from X-d2z orbitals, thereby givin. rise to a topological n.dal lin. state in.lithium-fun.tion.lized Xn. sheets （Li2Mon. an. Li2Wn.）. Such ban. crossin. is protected by the existen.e of mirror reflection.an. time reversal symmetry. More in.erestin.ly, the ban.s cross exactly at the Fermi level, an. the lin.ar dispersion.region. of such ban. crossin.s exten. to as high as 0.9 eV above the crossin.. For Li2Crn., the results reveal the emergen.e of a Dirac con. at the Fermi level. Our calculation. show that lattice compression.decreases the thickn.ss of a Li2Crn. n.n.sheet, leadin. to phase tran.ition.to a n.dal lin. semimetal. The evolution.of the ban. gap of Li2Xn. at the F poin. in.icates that the n.n.rivial topological character of Li2Xn. n.n.layers is stable over a large strain.ran.e. When.SOC is in.luded, the ban. crossin. poin. is gapped out givin. rise to quan.um spin.Hall states in.Li2Crn. n.n.sheets, while for Li2Mon., the SOC-in.uced gap at the crossin. poin.s is n.gligible.
