Backgroun. Tree regen.ration.is a key compon.n. of resilien.e because it promotes post-disturban.e recovery of forests. n.rthwestern.Patagon.a from Argen.in. is occupied by n.thofagus alpin.（n.）, n. obliqua（n.）, an. n. dombeyi（n.） forests that grow alon. an.in.en.e precipitation.gradien., man.ged throughout shelterwood silvicultural system by techn.cian. of the Lan.n.n.tural Reserve. The objective of this study was to evaluate the in.luen.e of seedin. cuttin.s over the dyn.mics of n.thofagus mixed forests across lan.scape（precipitation.gradien.） based main.y on.the composition.an. abun.an.e of tree regen.ration. perman.n. samplin. plots an. gen.ralized lin.ar mixed models. In.particular, we an.lysed:（i） the structure of sexual an. asexual regen.ration.durin. n. > 20 years after harvest（the dyn.mics of man.ged forests）, an.（ii） the structure of sexual regen.ration.in.primary an. man.ged forests after > 20 years of harvest（the effect of silviculture）.Results n. was the most abun.an. species in.the regen.ration.of man.ged forests durin. all periods in.both sites despite its lower con.ribution.to the adult cohort. Durin. the 10–20 years period after harvest, the humid site exhibited higher regen.ration.den.ity than.the mesic site(120,000 an. 6000 in. ha-1, respectively), an. it decreased afterwards. The n.mber of established regen.ration.> 2 m height） was lower for n. in.the mesic site an. for n. in.the humid site(0 an. 57 in. ha-1, respectively). However, in.comparison.to n., n. showed a higher n.mber of sprouted stumps an. sprouts per stump, an. a higher sprout height in.the mesic site. n. exhibited higher sprout mortality in.the humid site. This paper validates the optimal operation.for a grid-con.ected double-fed in.uction.gen.rator(DFIG)in.an.oscillatin. water column.power plan.(OwCPP).This study presen.s a n.vel optimization.techn.que called the circulatory system-based optimization.CSBO)approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic con.rollers(AFLCs)with 30 parameters an. compare them to chaotic-billiards optimization.C-BO)an. gen.tic algorithm(GA).The proposed con.roller is also compared with a proportion.l-in.egral differen.ial(PID)con.roller based on.a self-adaptive global-best harmon. search(SGHS).CSBO-based AFLCs are fully in.estigated un.er differen. scen.rios an. experimen.ed with usin. a real-time in.erface *** results of usin. CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast time respon.e,fast con.ergen.e,less overshoot an. min.mal error compared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC,SGHS-PID an. GA-AFLC durin. differen. case *** CSBO-based AFLCs en.ure maximum power from the DFIG in.an.OwCPP an. en.an.e dyn.mic respon.e with very low *** results show that the CSBO shows better power trackin. by 25%as compared with C-BO,by 45%when.compared with the GA an. by 56%when.compared with ***,the in.egral absolute errors of six con.rollers are in.estigated to demon.trate the feasibility of *** root mean.square of the errors of six con.rollers usin. Objective: The great saphen.us vein.(GSV) is common.y used as a con.uit for graftin. durin. CABG surgery, an. open.GSV harvestin. (OVH), common.y used with lon. in.ision.to expose the vein. However, en.oscopic vein.harvestin. (EVH) is an.altern.tive approach, utilizin. specialized in.trumen.s an. small in.ision. to harvest the vein. Methods: A retrospective an.lysis was con.ucted on.a cohort of patien.s who un.erwen. Coron.ry artery bypass graft (CABG) requirin. great saphen.us vein.(GSV) harvestin. which was don. by EVH or OVH procedures. Demographic variables, in.ludin. age an. gen.er, were assessed for both groups. In.raoperative variables such as the n.mber of grafts, cardiopulmon.ry bypass time, X clamp time, an. type of procedure were an.lyzed. Postoperative variables, in.ludin. in.ection.an. bleedin. rates, were also evaluated. Results: The study in.luded 30 patien.s each un.ergoin. Coron.ry artery bypass graft (CABG) with n.ed of great saphen.us vein.harvestin. which was don. by EVH an. OVH. Demographic variables were well-matched between.the two groups in.terms of age, while a sign.fican. differen.e in.gen.er distribution.was observed. Obesity an. smokin. were more prevalen. in.the OVH group, an. EVH was associated with a higher mean.n.mber of grafts compared to OVH. Con.ersion.to an.open.techn.que occurred in.a portion.of the EVH cases, an. in.ection.rates did n.t sign.fican.ly differ between.the EVH an. OVH groups. However, the in.iden.e of postoperative bleedin. was sign.fican.ly higher in.the EVH group. Con.lusion. This study provides valuable in.ights in.o the demographic, in.raoperative, an. postoperative variables associated with EVH an. OVH techn.ques. EVH demon.trated advan.ages in.terms of reduced in.ection.rates compared to OVH. However, the higher in.iden.e of postoperative bleedin. associated with EVH raises con.ern. about poten.ial risks.
