In.respon.e to this con.ern. a Commun.ty Agricultural Estate housin. an.in.egrated f.sh f.rm was set up in.the commun. of.Ban.af.ssi, in.the village of.Itato. Sin.e its creation. this production.un.t has been.f.ced with the problem of.sourcin. high-quality, low-cost, mon.sex male Oreochromis n.loticus f.y. In.order to overcome this con.train., the presen. research f.cuses on.the con.ribution.of.Garcin.a kola to the productivity an. econ.mic prof.tability of.the Itato f.rm. The aim of.the research is to assess f.sh production.in.the experimen.al set-up an. the production.costs of.tilapia in.a con.rolled en.iron.en.. The comparative study of.the various production.f.ctors shows disparities on.y in.the in.ut f.ctor, where scen.rios 2 an. 3 use addition.l products. These are 17-α-methytestosteron. f.r scen.rio 2 an. Garcin.a kola f.r scen.rio 3. These products sign.f.can.ly in.erf.re with f.sh production. with a f.irly high mortality rate f.r scen.rio 2 (25% f.r two production.cycles/ cohort2 (B5, B6, B7 an. B8) treated with 17-α-methytestosteron.). As f.r scen.rios 1 an. 3, mortalities are 5% with or without recourse to addition.l products (G. kola). In.addition. average f.sh production.f.r the three (03) scen.rios is estimated at 28687.5 kg/2 cycles. The aim of.this study was to evaluate the dose delivered to patien.s durin. scan.ographic examin.tion. at the Kaolack Region.l Hospital (on. of.the 14 region. of.Sen.gal located in.the cen.er-west of.the coun.ry, 192 km f.om Dakar) an. to compare these irradiation.doses at diagn.stic ref.ren.e levels f.un. in.the literature in.order to optimize our scan.in. protocols. To achieve this goal, we carried out a prospective study in.olvin. 218 CT scan.. These examin.tion. f.cused on.cerebral, thoracic, abdomin.pelvic an. lumbar spin. acquisition. made in.adults an. cerebral on.y in.children. We compared the median.values of.dosimetric in.icators (CTDIvol an. DLP) per acquisition.with n.Ds in.the literature. Durin. the course of.this study, we f.un. a dosimetric ratio lower than.that of.the n.Ds f.r thoracic, abdomin.-pelvic an. lumbar spin. Approximately 2,000,000 people are exposed to volcan.c risks in.commun.ties situated at the f.an.s of.Moun.s Cameroon.(MC) an. n.iragon.o (Mn. volcan.es in.Cen.ral Af.ica. This study theref.re sought to in.estigate risk perception.f.om f.ur previous eruption. of.MC, n.mely the 1959, 1982, 1999, an. 2000 eruption.;an. two previous eruption. of.Mn. 1977 an. 2002. The study was in.tiated with co-design.workshops held with major stakeholders in.the cities of.Buea an. Goma at the f.an.s of.MC an. Mn. respectively, in.2017, to develop the research objectives f.r the study. A n.n.ran.om question.aire survey was later con.ucted within.14 an. 15 commun.ties in.Buea an. Goma respectively, on.the ef.ects, perceived risks, an. copin. strategies f.r the chosen.eruption.. Three age groups (18 - 30, 31 - 45 an. >45 years) an. gen.er (male an. f.male) were con.idered. The population.at the f.an.s of.both volcan.es cited scien.if.c an. in.igen.us f.ctors to be respon.ible f.r eruption. f.om these volcan.es. At MC an. Mn. ≥45% of.the sampled participan.s (with a higher f.male population. perceived that the sampled eruption. posed a very high risk to the population. In.terms of.the ef.ects, the age group of.18 - 30 was the least kn.wledgeable. In.terms of.direct ef.ect on.person., over 90% of.participan.s at MC an. Mn.attested that they were overcome by f.ar/pan.c. On.measures to cope with an. likely eruption. the f.llowin. order was established at the f.an.s of.both volcan.es: sen.itization.of.population. use of.religious (prayers) an. of.tradition.l/in.igen.us strategies. In.terms of.f.ture copin. strategies, while the males at MC main.ain.d sen.itization.as the f.vourite option. 62% of.the males at Mn.opted f.r tradition.l/in.igen.us strategies. The f.male population.at both MC an. Mn.showed a higher pref.ren.e f.r religious strategies like prayers.
