Wearable technologies have the potential to become a valuable influence on human daily life where they may enable observing the world in new ways,including,for example,using augmented reality(AR)*** technology uses electronic devices that may be carried as accessories,clothes,or even embedded in the user's *** the potential benefits of smart wearables are numerous,their extensive and continual usage creates several privacy concerns and tricky information security *** this paper,we present a comprehensive survey of recent privacy-preserving big data analytics applications based on wearable *** highlight the fundamental features of security and privacy for wearable device ***,we examine the utilization of deep learning algorithms with cryptography and determine their usability for wearable *** also present a case study on privacy-preserving machine learning ***,we theoretically and empirically evaluate the privacy-preserving deep learning framework's *** explain the implementation details of a case study of a secure prediction service using the convolutional neural network(CNN)model and the Cheon-Kim-Kim-song(CHKS)homomorphic encryption ***,we explore the obstacles and gaps in the deployment of practical real-world *** a comprehensive overview,we identify the most important obstacles that must be overcome and discuss some interesting future research directions.

The solution of boundary value problems(BVP)for fourth order differential equations by their reduction to BVP for second order equations,with the aim to use the available efficient algorithms for the latter ones,attracts attention from many *** this paper,using the technique developed by the authors in recent works we construct iterative method for a problem with complicated mixed boundary conditions for biharmonic equation which is originated from nanofluidic *** convergence rate of the method is proved and some numerical experiments are performed for testing its dependence on a parameter appearing in boundary conditions and on the position of the point where a transmission of boundary conditions occurs.

A numerical procedure using a stable cell-based smoothed finite element method(CS-FEM)is presented for estimation of stability of a square tunnel in the soil where the shear strength increases linearly with *** kinematically admissible displacement fields are approximated by uniform quadrilateral elements in conjunction with the strain smoothing technique,eliminating volumetric locking issues and the singularity associated with the MohreCoulomb ***,a rich set of simulations was performed to compute the static stability of a square tunnel with different geometries and soil *** presented results are in excellent agreement with the upper and lower bound solutions using the standard finite element method(FEM).The stability charts and tables are given for practical use in the tunnel design,along with a newly proposed formulation for predicting the undrained stability of a single square ***,the seismic stability number was computed using the present numerical *** results reveal that the seismic stability number reduces with an increasing value of the horizontal seismic acceleration(a_(h)),for both cases of the weightless soil and the soil with unit ***,the link between the static and seismic stability numbers is described using corrective factors that represent reductions in the tunnel stability due to seismic *** is shown from the numerical results that the corrective factor becomes larger as the unit weight of soil mass increases;however,the degree of the reduction in seismic stability number tends to reduce for the case of the homogeneous ***,this advanced numerical procedure is straightforward to extend to three-dimensional(3D)limit analysis and is readily applicable for the calculation of the stability of tunnels in highly anisotropic and heterogeneous soils which are often encountered in practice.

A dimple appears on a free surface while rotating a cylinder tank filled with liquid. The dimple starts to concentrically deeper to a drain port at the bottom center of the tank. Over time, the dimple penetrates the drain port, a free surface forms a long and slender string shape in the tank, and a so-called vortexing （air core） phenomenon occurs. The generation of a vortex core depends on the size of the tank and drain port, and on the properties of the liquid in the tank. In this study, the liquid level and the time at which the vortex core is initially generated are numerically investigated using different values of tank diameter, drain port diameter, and ini- tial tank rotational speeds. Instead of a full three-dimensional analysis, a two-dimensional axisymmetric simulation is conducted. The momentum conservation equation in the circumferential direction is additionally solved in the two-dimensional mesh system. Several non-dimensional variables are created： the ratio of the air core generation distance and tank diameter, the diameter ratio of the tank and drain port, the rotational Reynolds number, the rotational Froude number, and the rotational Weber number. Finally, the non-dimensional air core generation distance is correlated with the other non-dimensional parameters.

Conceptual Design for a Kerosene Fuel-rich Gas-generator of a Turbopump-fed Liquid Rocket Engine

Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)is widely used in organic metal-ion batteries owing to its high porosity,facile synthesis,stability,and high-rate ***,pristine g-C3N4 nanosheets exhibit poor electrical conductivity,irreversible metal-ion storage capacity,and short-term cycling owing to their high concentration of graphitic-N ***,a series of 3,4:9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic diimide-coupled g-C3N4 composite anode materials,CN-PIx(x=0.2,0.5,0.75,and 1),was investigated,which exhibited an unusually high surface nitrogen content(23.19-39.92 at.％)and the highest pyridinic-N,pyrrolic-N,and graphitic-N contents reported to *** CN-PI1 anode delivers an unprecedented and continuously increasing ultrahigh discharging capacity of exceeding 8400 mAh g-1(1.96 mWh cm-2)at 100 mA g-1 with high specific energy density(Esp)of～7700 Wh kg-1 and the volumetric energy density(Ev)of～14956 Wh L-1 and an excellent long-term stability(414 mAh g-1 or 0.579 mWh cm-2 at 1 A g-1).Furthermore,the activation of the CN-PIx electrodes contributes to their superior electrochemical performance,resulting from the fact that the Li+is not only stored in the CN-PIx composites but also CN-PIx activated the Li0 adlayer on the CN-PI1-Cu heterojunction as an SEI layer to avoid the direct contact of Lio phase and the *** CN-PI1 full cell with LiCoO2 as the cathode delivers a discharge capacity of～587 mAh g-1 at a 1 A g-1 after 250 cycles with a Coulombic efficiency nearly 99％.This study provides a strategy to develop N-doped g-C3N4-based anode materials for realizing long-lasting energy storage devices.

A design method for a kerosene fuel-rich gas-generator of a liquid rocket engine using turbopumps to supply propellant was performed at a conceptual level. The gas-generator creates hot gases, enabling the turbine to operate the turbopumps. A chemical non-equilibrium analysis and a droplet vaporization model were used for the estimation of the burnt gas properties and characteristic chamber length. A premixed counter-flow flame analysis was performed for the prediction of the burnt gas properties, namely the temperature, the specific heat ratio and heat capacity, and the chemical reaction time. To predict the vaporization time, the Spalding model, using a single droplet in convective condition, was used. The minimum residence time in the chamber and the characteristic length were calculated by adding the reaction time and the vaporization time. Using the characteristic length, the design methods for the fuel-rich gas-generator were established. Finally, a parametric study was achieved for the effects of the O/F ratio, mass flow rate, chamber pressure, initial droplet temperature, initial droplet diameter and initial droplet velocity.

Let f be a real polynomial function with n variables and S be a basic closed semialgebraic set in R^(n).In this paper,the authors are interested in the problem of identifying the type(local minimizer,maximizer or not extremum point)of a given isolated KKT point x^(*)of f over *** this end,the authors investigate some properties of the tangency variety of f on S at x^(*),by which the authors introduce the definition of faithful radius of f over S at x^(*).Then,the authors show that the type of x^(*)can be determined by the global extrema of f over the intersection of S and the Euclidean ball centered at x^(*)with a faithful ***,the authors propose an algorithm involving algebraic computations to compute a faithful radius of x*and determine its type.
