Enhancing Solar Energy Production Forecasting Using Advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques: A Comprehensive Study on the Impact of Meteorological Data

The increasing adoption of solar photovoltaic systems necessitates accurate forecasting of solar energy production to enhance grid stability,reliability,and economic *** study explores advanced machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)techniques for predicting solar energy generation,emphasizing the significant impact of meteorological data.A comprehensive dataset,encompassing detailed weather conditions and solar energy metrics,was collected and preprocessed to improve model *** models were developed and trained with different preprocessing ***,three datasets were prepared.A novel hour-based prediction wrapper was introduced,utilizing external sunrise and sunset data to restrict predictions to daylight hours,thereby enhancing model performance.A cascaded stacking model incorporating association rules,weak predictors,and a modified stacking aggregation procedure was proposed,demonstrating enhanced generalization and reduced prediction *** indicated that models trained on raw data generally performed better than those on stripped *** Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)with Inception layers’model was the most effective,achieving significant performance improvements through feature selection,data preprocessing,and innovative modeling *** study underscores the potential to combine detailed meteorological data with advanced ML and DL methods to improve the accuracy of solar energy forecasting,thereby optimizing energy management and planning.

Features of hardware implementation of quasi-continuous observation devices with discrete receivers

This article proposes an approach to the formalization of tasks and conditions for the hardware implementation of quasi-continuous observation devices with discrete receivers in remote sensing *** devices with a matrix are used in medicine,ecology,aerospace photography,and geodesy,among other *** the discrete receivers,the sampling of an image in the matrix receiver into pixels leads to a decrease in the spatial information of the *** a greater extent,these disadvantages can be avoided by using photosensitive matrix with a regularly changing(controlled)density of elementary receivers-matrix(RCDOER-matrix).Currently,there is no substantiation of the tasks and conditions for the hardware implementation of *** algorithmic formation of a quasi-continuous image of observation devices with the RCDOER-matrix is *** algorithm used a formal pixel-by-pixel description of the signals in the *** algorithm formalizes the requirements for creating a photosensitive RCDOER-matrix of a certain size,as well as for changing the mechanism for forming and saving a frame with observation *** application of the developed method will allow multiplying the pixel size of the image relative to the pixel size of the *** algorithms for RCDOER-matrix are supplemented by formalizing the tasks that arise when creating *** addition,the conditions for hardware implementation are proposed,which ensure the completeness of registration of the observation picture,and allow avoiding excessive pixel ***,the results of the research carried out approximate the practical application of RCDOER-matrix.

Representation of three-dimensional mass distribution of the Earth's interior by biorthogonal series and its use for studying internal structure of the planet

This paper utilizes the mathematical concept of approximation within an ellipsoid from a single viewpoint to present the spatial mass distribution function of the Earth's interior and its internal *** primary focus lies in constructing the volume distribution of masses in the planet's interior, with the expansion coefficients being linear combinations of the Stokes constants. Several possible approaches are suggested for determining accurately these coefficients employing three-dimensional(biorthogonal)polynomials. By expressing the mass distribution function of the Earth's interior and its internal potential as a series, an algorithm is introduced for the calculation of gravitational energy. It allows us to estimate fluctuations in gravitational energy. The implementation of this algorithm offers the means of establishing the extent to which the Earth deviates from a state of hydrostatic equilibrium as a celestial *** to the aforementioned method, calculations have been conducted to validate its effectiveness and reliability. This example is given as an illustration of a given method for studying the internal structure of planets.

The rapidly increasing number of Internet of Things(IoT)devices and Quality of Service(QoS)requirements have made the provisioning of network solutions to meet this demand a major research *** fast and reliable routing paths based on the QoS requirements of IoT devices is very important task for Industry *** software-defined network is one of the most current interesting research developments,offering an efficient and effective solution for centralized control and network intelligence.A new SDN-IoT paradigm has been proposed to improve network QoS,taking advantage of SDN architecture in IoT *** the present time,most publish-subscribe IoT platforms assume the same QoS requirements for all ***,in many real-world scenarios of IoT applications,different subscribers may have different E2E delay *** reliable differentiated services has become a relevant *** this we developed a technique for classifying IoT flows with the individual subscriber recommendation on the importance of certain parameters for particular classes of traffic taken into *** improve the QoS for mission-critical IoT applications in large-scale SDN-IoT infrastructure,we focused on optimizing routing in the *** this purpose,a centralized routing model based on QoS parameters and IoT priority flow for the SDN was proposed and *** have compared the proposed routing model with the state-of-art deterministic multiconstrained centralized QoS routing model(DMCQR).The developed centralized routing model in comparison with the known DMCQR flow routing achieved better balance of channel resources load due to rational choice of transmission paths for different *** it was possible to reduce up to 3 times the average delay of real time flows service from end to end,for which with the existing DMCQR routing model the permissible delay rates were not met.

Modern experience of low-coal seams underground mining in Ukraine

Coal is the main energy resource in Ukraine. However geotechnological aspects of coal seams development and Ukrainian crisis have a negative influence on the mining industry. This article analyzes the experience in the development of very low and low-coal seams with 0.7–1.0 m thickness, as well as advanced technological solutions that allowed private coal enterprises, despite the difficult situation in the country, to maintain sufficient(more than 75% of all production) level of steam coal extraction for Ukrainian society. Given that Ukrainian's mining sector development is a huge task, we hope this review will add some discussions into the ongoing conversation.

On the road to standardization of D2 lymph node dissection in a European population of patients with gastric cancer

The amount of lymph node dissection(LD) required during surgical treatment of gastric cancer surgery has been quite *** the 1970 s and 1980 s,Japanese surgeons developed a doctrine of aggressive preventive gastric cancer surgery that was based on extended(D2) LD *** West has relatively lower incidence rates of gastric cancer,and in Europe and the United States the most common LD volume was *** eventually caused a scientific conflict between the Eastern and Western schools of surgical thought.:Japanese surgeons determinedly used D2 LD in surgical practice,whereas European surgeons insisted on repetitive clinical trials in the European patient ***,however,one can observe the results of this complex evolution of *** D2 LD is regarded as an unambiguous standard of gastric cancer surgical treatment in specialized European *** a consensus of the Eastern and Western surgical schools became possible due to the longstanding scientific and practical search for methods that would help improve the results of gastric cancer surgeries using evidence-based ***,we can claim that D2 LD could improve the prognosis in European populations of patients with gastric cancer,but only when the surgical quality of LD execution is adequate.

Variance Reduction Technique for Estimating Value-at-Risk based on the Cross - Entropy

Value-at-Risk （VaR） estimation via Monte Carlo （MC） simulation is studied here. The variance reduction technique is proposed in order to speed up MC algorithm. The algorithm for estimating the probability of high portfolio losses （more general risk measure） based on the Cross - Entropy importance sampling is developed. This algorithm can easily be applied in any light- or heavy-tailed case without an extra adaptation. Besides, it does not loose in the performance in comparison to other known methods. A numerical study in both cases is performed and the variance reduction rate is compared with other known methods. The problem of VaR estimation using procedures for estimating the probability of high portfolio losses is also discussed.

Organic photovoltaic(OPV)materials are promising candidates for cheap,printable solar ***,there are a very large number of potential donors and acceptors,making selection of the best materials ***,we show that machine-learning approaches can leverage computationally expensive DFT calculations to estimate important OPV materials properties quickly and *** generate quantitative relationships between simple and interpretable chemical signature and one-hot descriptors and OPV power conversion efficiency(PCE),open circuit potential(Voc),short circuit density(Jsc),highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)energy,lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)energy,and the HOMO–LUMO *** most robust and predictive models could predict PCE(computed by DFT)with a standard error of±0.5 for percentage PCE for both the training and test *** model is useful for pre-screening potential donor and acceptor materials for OPV applications,accelerating design of these devices for green energy applications.

电流密度向量分析是心磁图仪临床应用中的关键诊断技术,其重构与分类效果将直接影响心脏疾病筛查的准确度。研究一种电流密度分析方法,包括电流密度重构逆向算法,并提出一种电流密度自动分类新算法。将该电流密度分析方法应用于27例健康志愿者和75例心肌缺血患者的临床验证:首先,使用四通道心磁图仪SQUID传感器采集36个测量点位心磁信号源数据,采用标准Ⅱ导联心电数据同步化心磁信号源数据;其次,应用基于傅里叶变换的逆向求解算法,重构每例受试者电流密度分布,自动计算3项电流密度分类参数CDI、IPCD、ERT,并通过多元线性回归模型确定自动分类算法中健康组和心肌缺血组的线性判别函数;最后,借助基于KL熵值计算和线性判别函数的自动分类新算法,对重构后的电流密度进行自动分类。结果表明:健康组与心肌缺血组间3项分类参数CDI、IPCD、ERT显著性差异分别为2.0×10^-11、2.7×10^-5和3.0×10^-4;CDI、IPCD、ERT诊断心肌缺血的敏感性分别为73%、81%和60%,特异性分别为100%、65%和73%;自动分类结果的敏感性、真阳性率、特异性、假阳性率和真阴性率分别为89.33%、100%、100%、0%和76.47%。实验说明,所述电流密度分析方法可靠、准确度高,可用于临床心肌缺血诊断。
