Two new amides(E)-N-cinnamoyl-2-methoxypiperidine(1)and(R)-1-(2-oxopyrrolidin-3-yl)-5,6-dihydropyridin-2(1H)-one(2),four new amide glucosides,retrofractosides A-D(3-6),and two new phenylpropanoid glucosides,retrofractosides E(7)and F(8),together with 24 known compounds(9-32)were isolated from the fruits of Piper *** chemical structures of these new compounds were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic *** of these isolates(1-32)were evaluated for inhibitory activity against mouse platelet aggregation induced by the peptide AYPGKF-NH2.(E)-N-(Tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)cinnamamide(9)showed a weak inhibitory efect,with an inhibition ratio of 52.0%at a concentration of 150μM.

Deep-Learning-Empowered 3D Reconstruction for Dehazed Images in IoT-Enhanced Smart Cities

With increasingly more smart cameras deployed in infrastructure and commercial buildings,3D reconstruction can quickly obtain cities’information and improve the efficiency of government *** collected in outdoor hazy environments are prone to color distortion and low contrast;thus,the desired visual effect cannot be achieved and the difficulty of target detection is *** intelligence(AI)solutions provide great help for dehazy images,which can automatically identify patterns or monitor the ***,we propose a 3D reconstruction method of dehazed images for smart cities based on deep ***,we propose a fine transmission image deep convolutional regression network(FT-DCRN)dehazing algorithm that uses fine transmission image and atmospheric light value to compute dehazed *** DCRN is used to obtain the coarse transmission image,which can not only expand the receptive field of the network but also retain the features to maintain the nonlinearity of the overall *** fine transmission image is obtained by refining the coarse transmission image using a guided *** atmospheric light value is estimated according to the position and brightness of the pixels in the original hazy ***,we use the dehazed images generated by the FT-DCRN dehazing algorithm for 3D *** advanced relaxed iterative fine matching based on the structure from motion(ARI-SFM)algorithm is *** ARISFM algorithm,which obtains the fine matching corner pairs and reduces the number of iterations,establishes an accurate one-to-one matching corner *** experimental results show that our FT-DCRN dehazing algorithm improves the accuracy compared to other representative *** addition,the ARI-SFM algorithm guarantees the precision and improves the efficiency.

Paw san Hmwe （PSM） rice has been cultivated in many areas of Myanmar for a long time. Strong aroma, good taste and its elongation during cooking are the key characteristics of PSM rice. Thirty-one PSM accessions were genotypically characterized, and their physical grain and cooking quality traits were studied. We used specific gene markers associated with aroma, apparent amylose content （AAC） and alkali spreading value to determine the alleles carried by different PSM accessions. The results revealed that six PSM accessions （PSM10, PSM12, PSM13, PSM21, PSM22 and PSM30） had a 3-bp insertion in Os2AP gene. Gel consistency （GC） allele was predominant among the PSM accessions for gelatinization temperature （GT）, however, the phenotype observed was between low and intermediate GT because of the combination of the GC allele with the presence of low GT allele at heterozygous state from the other loci of the SSIla gene. Intermediate to high AAC was observed among the PSM accessions corresponding to the haplotype identified for the single nucleotide polymorphism G/T and the （Cm）n repeat in the Wx gene. The characterization and grouping data of PSM accessions posted benefits to Myanmar seed banks, and our results will help in maintaining the integrity of PSM rice variety.

Distribution Pattern and Seasonal Variation of Bird Species from Semi-Urban Area of Taungoo Environs

The environs of Taungoo Township, Bago Region are one of the high biodiversity areas in Myanmar, locating eastern side of the high mountain ranges of Middle Yoma. The dense of every green and deciduous forest in the middle Middle Yoma were logging since 10 - 20 years ago. The birds inhabiting in that area have to refuge in suitable habitats nearby. The resent status of bird species is needed to assess the diversity of birds with the respect to distribution and seasonal variation after the construction of Yangon-Nepyitaw, Myanmar after twenty years ago. A total of 50 species of 27 genera, 22 families under nine orders were recorded. That represented 44 resident species (32 terrestrial species and 12 water bird species), and 6 species of migratory birds (1 terrestrial species and 5 water bird species). As habitat utilization, 24 bird species in paddy fields, 21 species in scattered trees, 33 species in wetland and 25 species in forest habitat types were investigated. Some species used more than one habitat types. According to the assessment of abundance categories based on the calculation of individual numbers of the birds, abundant category (3 species), common bird (1 species), frequent category (5 species), uncommon category (3 species) and rare species (28 species) were categorized. Hence, bird community was still sustainable in this area. In the aspect of conservation status, all recorded bird species were under least concern categories, according to the IUCN Redlist in the study area.
