主要利用韩国青瓷坯体在1270～1290℃还原气氛下制备粉青裂纹釉。考察了不同坯体种类、釉用氧化铁含量对粉青裂纹釉的影响。研究结果表明:合适的坯体应为收缩小,铁含量为1%～2%的瓷质浅灰色坯体有利于粉青釉的呈色和玉质感。随着氧化铁含量的增加,釉面由白色、粉青色、绿色最后逐渐向黄色色调过渡,并且釉面的裂纹逐渐由稠密向稀疏直裂纹转化。当氧化铁含量为0.020 mol时,由于釉面吸收了红光而反射出蓝绿光,因此釉面呈现粉青色(L*=65.18, a*=-6.67, b*=1.63)。从XRD和SEM结果可知:韩国青瓷坯体结构致密,釉面中存在很多细小结构的微气泡和未被溶解的石英相对光造成漫发射,从而赋予了釉面玉质感。

HANARO (High-Flux Advanced Neutron Application Reactor) is a 30MWth multi-purpose research reactor generating a very high neutron flux for scientific and technical applications. Since its initial criticality in Feb. 1995, it has worked as a national neutron source for neutron beam research, RI production and related research, material and fuel irradiation research, and neutron transmutation doping. The installation of a cold neutron source and related beam instrument makes HANARO serve as a regional source for beam research as well. As Korea is developing nuclear power systems and fuels, irradiation research is a main utilization subject in HANARO, and irradiation facilities have been actively utilized for various nuclear fuel and material irradiation tests requested by users from research institutes, universities, and industries. Most of the irradiation tests were related to the R & D relevant to the ageing management and safety evaluation of the present nuclear power reactors. Korea is conducting R & D programs relevant to new nuclear systems including a research reactor, System-integrated Modular Advanced Reactor (SMART), and future nuclear systems such as a very high temperature reactor system (VHTR) and sodium cooled fast reactor system (SFR). To effectively support the R&D for new nuclear systems, advanced irradiation technologies such as high-temperature irradiation, instrumentation, and long-term irradiation are being developed. In addition, research on the irradiation characteristics of super-conductor materials and new chemical materials is being conducted as a part of fundamental research.

The concept of Quality by Design was demonstrated in the development of a stability-indicating assay and related substances method by HPLC for Dabigatran Etexilate Capsules dosage form. Method design, method evaluation, method control and life cycle management were explained by systematic flow chart. Analytical Target Product profile was defined. The method was developed using the Inertsil ODS-3V, 150 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm column using the gradient program with ammonium formate buffer as mobile phase A and acetonitrile as mobile phase B. Risk assessment was performed as part of method evaluation. Design of experiment tools was used to optimize the chromatographic conditions. A two-level Full Factorial Design along with Face Centered Central Composite design augmentation was employed and statistical analysis of the experimental data uncovered the significant influential of chromatographic factors. The design space and the contour plot suggest that the current center point parameters can be further modified, resulting in better acceptability of the response parameters. The performance of the optimized method was validated according to current ICH guidelines. Dabigatran Etexilate Capsules was subjected to various stress conditions like oxidative, acid, base, hydrolytic, thermal, humidity, and photolytic degradations and evaluated chromatograms at 220 nm. The degradation products were well separated from each other and main peak, demonstrating the stability-indicating power of the method. One of the major degradant impurities, which are forming in neutral hydrolysis stress condition, is isolated and characterized by using analytical techniques like IR, LC-MS and NMR. Degradation pathway for Dabigatran Etexilate was proposed based on forced degradation data along with reaction mechanism.

Dear Editor,Myeloid differentiation was shown to be associated with reduced leukemic cell burden and leukemia-initiating cells and improved survival[1].Reactive oxygen species(ROS)are associated with leukemia and can induce endoplasmic reticulum(ER)*** stress induces several mechanisms,including cell death[2].The stimulator of interferon genes(STING)is also an ER transmembrane protein and promotes anti-tumor immunity by linking innate and adaptive immunity[3].Signal transducer and activator of transcription 6(STAT6)plays a prominent role in adaptive immunity by transducing signals fromextracellular cytokines and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells[4].

Dietary polyunsaturated fatty acids （PUFAs）, which are abundant in marine fish oils, have recently received global attention for their prominent anti-obesogenic effects. Among PUFAs, eicosapentaenoic acid （EPA; 20：5n-3） and docosahexaenoic acid （DHA; 22：6n-3）, which are n-3 long-chain PUFAs widely referred to as omega-3 oils, were reported to prevent the development of obesity in rodents and humans. In the present study, we evaluated the anti-obesity effects of microalgal oil on high-fat induced obese C57BL/6 mice, compared with commercial omega-3 fish oil and vegetable corn oil. Microalgal oil is an inherent mixture of several PUFAs, including EPA, DHA and other fatty acids produced from a marine microalgal strain of Thraustochytriidae sp. derived mutant. It was found to contain more PUFAs （〉80%） and more omega-3 oils than commercial omega-3 fish oil （PUFAs 〉31%） and corn oil （PUFAs 59%）. All three types of oils induced weight loss in high-fat-induced obese mice, with the loss induced by microalgal oil being most significant at 9 weeks （10% reduction）. However, the oils tested did not improve blood lipid levels, although microalgal oil showed an apparent inhibitory effect on lipid accumulation in the liver. These findings may be attributed to the higher PUFA content, including omega-3 oils of microalgal oil than other oils. Collectively, these findings suggest that microalgal oil, derived from Thraustochytriidae sp. derived mutant, is a prominent candidate for replacement of omega-3 fish oils based on its apparent anti-obesity effect in vivo.

The antitumor capabilities of agonistic anti-4-1BB mAbs have made them an attractive target for tumor ***,the adverse side effects associated with agonist antibodies have hindered their clinical ***,we aimed to study the immune-related adverse events of repeated doses and long-term use of agonistic anti-4-1BB *** show that chronic activation of 4-1BB signals induced the accumulation of IFN-γ-producing PD-1^(+)CD8^(+)T cells in the secondary lymphoid organs of tumor-bearing mice by increasing the number of dividing CD8^(+)T cells,which was beneficial for suppressing tumor growth in the early phase of anti-4-1BB ***,repeated exposure to anti-4-1BB mAbs led to granuloma development in tumor-draining lymph nodes(TDLNs)of mice due to recruitment and accumulation of macrophages via the CD8^(+)T cell-IFN-γ*** was accompanied by excessive lymph node swelling,which impaired the sequential activation of CD8^(+)T *** data provide insights into the immune-related adverse events of long-term agonist 4-1BB antibody dosing,which should be considered during the clinical development of immunomodulating therapy.

AIM:To evaluate the expression status of S-phase kinase-associated protein 2(Skp2)/cyclin-dependent kinases regulatory subunit 1(Cks1)and p27kip1,and assess the prognostic significance of Skp2/Cks1 expression with p27kip1in patients with extrahepatic ***:Seventy-six patients who underwent curative resection for histologically confirmed extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma at our institution from December1994 to March 2008 were *** staining for Skp2,Cks1,p27kip1,and Ki67,along with other relevant molecular biologic experiments,were ***:By Cox regression analyses,advanced age(>65 years),advanced AJCC tumor stage,poorly differentiated histology,and higher immunostaining intensity of Skp2 were identified as independent prognostic factors in patients with extrahepatic *** epidermal growth factor(EGF,especially 0.1-10 ng/mL)significantly increased the proliferation indices by MTT assay and the mRNA levels of Skp2/Cks1 and p27kip1in SNU-1196,SNU-1079,and SNU-245 *** protein levels of Skp2/Cks1(from nuclear lysates)and p27kip1(from cytosolic lysate)were also significantly increased in these *** were significant reductions in the protein levels of Skp2/Cks1and p27kip1(from nuclear lysate)after the treatment of *** chromatin immunoprecipitation assay,we found that E2F1 transcription factor directly binds to the promoter site of ***:Higher immunostaining intensity of Skp2/Cks1 was an independent prognostic factor for patients with extrahepatic *** upregulates the mRNA and protein levels of Skp2/Cks1and p27kip1via the PI3K/Akt pathway and direct binding of E2F1 transcription factor with the Skp2 promoter.

AIM： To investigate prevalence of C/onorchis sinensis in patients with gastrointestinal symptoms, and the relation of the infection to hepatobiliary diseases in 26 hospitals in Korea. METHODS： Consecutive patients who had been admitted to the Division of Gastroenterology with gastrointestinal symptoms were enrolled from March to April 2005. Of those who had been diagnosed with clonorchiasis, epidemiology and correlation between infection and hepatobiliary diseases were surveyed by questionnaire. RESULTS： Of 3080 patients with gastrointestinal diseases, 396 （12.9%） had clonorchiasis and 1140 patients （37.2%） had a history of eating raw freshwater fish. Of those with a history of raw freshwater fish ingestion, 238 （20.9%） patients had clonorchiasis. cholangiocarcinoma was more prevalent in C. sinensis-infected patients than nonnfected patients [34/396 （8.6%） vs 145/2684 （5.4%）, P = 0.015]. cholangiocarcinoma and clonorchiasis showed statistically significant positive cross-relation （P = 0.008）. choledocholithiasis, cholecystolithiasis, cholangitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and biliary pancreatitis did not correlate with clonorchiasis. CONCLUSION： Infection rate of clonorchiasis was still high in patients with gastrointestinal diseases in Korea, and has not decreased very much during the last two decades. cholangiocarcinoma was related to clonorchiasis, which suggested an etiological role for the parasite.
