Objective:To investigate the relationship between triterpenoid saponin content and antioxidant,antimicrobial,and α-glucosidase inhibitory activities of 70%ethanolic,butanolic,aqueous,supernate and precipitate extracts of Juglans regia ***:Triterpenoid saponins of different Juglans regia leaf extracts were measured by the vanillin *** activity was evaluated against DPPH and ABTS free *** also assessed α-glucosidase inhibitory and antimicrobial activities of the leaf ***’s correlation coefficient was evaluated to determine the correlation between the saponin content and biological ***:The butanolic extract was most effective against DPPH with an IC50of 6.63μg/mL,while the aqueous extract showed the highest scavenging activity against ABTS free radical with an IC50of 42.27μg/***’s correlation analysis indicated a strong negative correlation (r=-0.956) between DPPH radical scavenging activity (IC50) and the saponin content in the samples *** addition,the aqueous extract showed the best α-glucosidase inhibitory activity compared with other *** the extracts had fair antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis,Escherichia coli,and Klebsiella pneumoniae except for the aqueous ***:Juglans regia extracts show potent antioxidant,antimicrobial,and α-glucosidase inhibitory *** is a correlation between saponin levels in Juglans regia leaf extracts and the studied ***,additional research is required to establish these relationships by identifying the specific saponin molecules responsible for these activities and elucidating their mechanisms of action.

The dynamic analysis of financial systems is a developing field that combines mathematics and economics to understand and explain fluctuations in financial *** paper introduces a new three-dimensional(3D)fractional financial map and we dissect its nonlinear dynamics system under commensurate and incommensurate *** such,we evaluate when the equilibrium points are stable or unstable at various fractional *** use many numerical methods,phase plots in 2D and 3D projections,bifurcation diagrams and the maximum Lyapunov *** techniques reveal that financial maps exhibit chaotic attractor *** study is grounded on the Caputo-like discrete operator,which is specifically influenced by the variance of the commensurate and incommensurate ***,we confirm the presence and measure the complexity of chaos in financial maps by the 0-1 test and the approximate entropy ***,we offer nonlinear-type controllers to stabilize the fractional financial *** numerical results of this study are obtained using MATLAB.

Integrative herbal treatments of diabetes in Beni Mellal region of Morocco

Objectives: Diabetes is one of the most life-threatening chronic metabolic disorders and is considered a global health problem due to its prevalence and incidence. In Morocco, several herbal preparations are utilized to treat this disease. For this reason, the current study aimed to identify and to collect data about the medicinal plants utilized in folk medicine for the treatment of diabetes in the Beni Mellal region of ***: An ethnobotanical survey was carried out among 400 herbalists, competent villagers and traditional healers from the Beni Mellal region through direct interviews using a semistructured ***: Forty-five medicinal plants belonging to 25 families were identified for their use in diabetes treatment. Interview results showed that the most frequently used plants were Olea europaea, Salvia officinalis, Allium sativum and Trigonella foenum-graecum, with a relative frequency of citation values of24.3%, 23.0%, 22.5% and 20.5%, respectively. Moreover, in this study, the Fabaceae family was the most commonly reported plant family, and the leaves and roots were the most commonly used parts, for the treatment of ***: The Beni Mellal region of Morocco has an important floristic biodiversity of plants used to treat diabetes in traditional medicinal practice. This result provides a good database for pharmacological screenings in the search for plant-based antidiabetic medications.

A New Higher Order Shear Deformation Model for Static Behavior of Functionally Graded Plates

In this paper,a new displacement based high-order shear deformation theory is introduced for the static response of functionally graded *** any other theory,the number of unknown functions involved is only four,as against five in case of other shear deformation *** theory presented is variationally consistent,has strong similarity with classical plate theory inmany aspects,does not require shear correction factor,and gives rise to transverse shear stress variation such that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness satisfying shear stress free surface *** mechanical properties of the plate are assumed to vary continuously in the thickness direction by a simple power-law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the *** illustrations concerned flexural behavior of FG plates with Metal-Ceramic *** studies are performed for varying ceramic volume fraction,volume fraction profiles,aspect ratios and length to thickness *** validity of the present theory is investigated by comparing some of the present results with those of the classical,the first-order and the other higher-order *** can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the static behavior of functionally graded plates.

Thin layers of Fe doped ZnO deposited by spin-coating for electrolysis and photodetector applications

ZnO is nowadays not only used as an additive for the copper and cement industry， but also in medicine and cosmetic industry as part of the substitute materials of choice for the field of new technologies such as renewable energy. This study aims to investigate the effect of iron concentration on the microstructural and structural properties of ZnO for electrolysis and Photodetector Applications. The Thin layers of un-doped and doped ZnO with different percentages of Fe （2， 4， and 6 wt.%） were deposited by spin-coating on glass substrates. Sample characterization was done by X-ray diffraction （XRD）， Atomic force microscopy （AFM）， Scanning electron microscopy （SEM）， energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDS）， UV-visible absorption spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）. Structural measurements by XRD show that all the layers are polycrystalline with a hexagonal Wurtzite structure. Two new peaks were also discovered after the doping process （400） and （440） belonging to the Fe2O4crystal phase spectrum. Morphological analysis showed that the surface roughness values of ZnO layers ranged between 8 and 45 nm. XPS studies confirmed the presence of Fe in +3 states in ZnO layers. An average transmittance of 90% was measured by UV- in the wavelength range of 200-900 nm. The values of the energy gap （Eg） decreased with an increase in the concentration of Fe. AFM topography results confirmed that ZnO-based thin layers have a relatively uniform surface. The efficiency of these samples has been confirmed for their use in many electrical applications， including photodetectors and electrolysis of contaminated solutions.

Behavioural Modelling of Corundum under the Effect of Porosity Rate

Corundum, which is a form of Alumina, is used to manufacture various components and mechanical, electrical and electronics parts. Known for its relatively high hardness, its other characteristics depend on the porosity rate that varies depending on the manufacturing process. One of the characteristics to consider is the tensile stress value changes in a standard test to failure as a function of applied force and porosity rate. In this study, for a better understanding of the effect of the two parameters, we used the statistical method of design of experiments that makes it possible to establish a mathematical model of the response, by which explains the effect of the two parameters in isolation from each other, then their effect simultaneously. Consequently, we can explain the mechanical behaviour of the porous corundum, with curves and graphs, and optimize the final result.

An incommensurate fractional discrete macroeconomic system:Bifurcation,chaos,and complexity

This study proposes a novel fractional discrete-time macroeconomic system with incommensurate *** dynamical behavior of the proposed macroeconomic model is investigated analytically and *** particular,the zero equilibrium point stability is investigated to demonstrate that the discrete macroeconomic system exhibits chaotic *** using bifurcation diagrams,phase attractors,the maximum Lyapunov exponent and the 0–1 test,we verified that chaos exists in the new model with incommensurate fractional ***,a complexity analysis is carried out utilizing the approximation entropy(ApEn)and C_(0)complexity to prove that chaos ***,the main findings of this study are presented using numerical simulations.

Performance Evaluation of Bottom-Standing Submerged Breakwaters in Regular Waves Using the Meshless Singular Boundary Method

In this paper, the improved version of the meshless singular boundary method (ISBM) is developed for analyzing the hydrodynamic performance of bottom-standing submerged breakwaters in regular normally incident waves. Both the single and dual prismatic breakwaters of rectangular and trapezoidal forms are examined. Only the impermeable breakwaters are considered in this study. The physical problem is cast in terms of the Laplace equation governing an irrotational flow and incompressible fluid motion with the appropriate mixed-type boundary conditions, and it is solved numerically using the ISBM. The numerical results are presented in terms of the hydrodynamic quantities of reflection and transmission coefficients. The values are first validated against the data of previous studies, computed, and discussed for a variety of structural conditions, including the height, width, and spacing of breakwater submergence. An excellent agreement is observed between the ISBM results and those of other methods. The breakwater width is found to feature marginal effects compared with the height. The present method is shown to accurately predict the resonant conditions at which the maximum reflection and transmission occur. The trapezoidal breakwaters are found to generally present a wide spectrum of reflections, suggesting that they would function better than the rectangular breakwaters. The dual breakwater systems are confirmed to perform much better than single structures.

Nitrogen and Organic Matter Mineralization in the Tunisian Cork Oak Forest: A Laboratory Study

The mineralization of the organic matter is a very important phenomenon which leads to the release of nutriments used by plants. The rate of transformation of the organic matter depends on several factors and parameters such as climatic factors and biological and physicochemical properties of the soil and the litter. In this study, we investigate the effect of the addition of litter of various species as well as the effect of soil moisture on mineralization of organic matter and on mineral nitrogen release in three soils sampled in three cork oak stands during a period of 41 days under the same laboratory conditions. Carbon mineralization was determined using CO2 respiration method, whereas the mineral nitrogen content was measured at the last day of incubation both in soil samples with added plant leaf material, and in control soil samples without addition under two treatments of moisture (40% and 80% WHC—water holding capacity). Our results show that the addition of leaf litter causes an increase in the microbial activity. Soils without addition were significantly different from the plant leaf added soils in respect to carbon mineralization at the end of the incubation period. Moreover, it is noted that the mineralization of carbon is more marked with moisture at 80% than that of 40%, contrary to that of the nitrogen, which is not influenced by the variation of moisture.
