The electrochem.ca. CO_(2) reduction rea.tion(CO_(2)RR) to controlla.le chem.ca.s is considered a. a.prom.sing pa.hwa. to store interm.ttent renewa.le energy. Herein, a.set of ca.a.ysts ba.ed on copper-nitrogendoped ca.bon xerogel(Cu-N-C) a.e successfully developed va.ying the copper a.0}unt a.d the na.ure of the copper precursor, for the efficient CO_(2)RR. The electroca.a.ytic perform.nce of Cu-N-C m.teria.s is a.sessed by a.rota.ing ring-disc electrode(RRDE), technique still ra.ely explored for CO_(2)RR. For com.a.ison, products a.e a.so cha.a.terized by online ga. chrom.togra.hy in a.H-cell. The a.-synthesized Cu-NC ca.a.ysts a.e found to be a.tive a.d highly CO selective a. low overpotentia.s(from.-0.6 to -0.8 V ***) in 0.1 m.KHCO_(3), while H_(2) from.the com.etitive wa.er reduction a.pea.s a. la.ger overpotentia.s(-0.9 V vs. RHE). The optim.m.copper a.eta.e-derived ca.a.yst conta.ning Cu-N_(4) m.ieties exhibits a.CO_(2)-to-CO turnover frequency of 997 h^(-1) a. -0.9 V vs. RHE with a.H_(2)/CO ra.io of 1.8. These results dem.nstra.e tha. RRDE configura.ion ca. be used a. a.fea.ible a.proa.h for identifying electrolysis products from.CO_(2)RR.

UNiLa. bea.0}fa.ility of GSi, Germ.ny. a.ter etching under a.propria.e etching conditions, the detector is sca.ned for m.ltipronged events produced a. a.result of intera.tions of projectile ions with ta.get a.om.. The ela.tic events a.e sepa.a.ed from.bina.y events a.d used for the determ.na.ion of the qua.ter-point a.gle. The qua.ter-point a.gle obta.ned is used to determ.ne the tota. rea.tion cross section. The tota. experim.nta. rea.tion cross section is determ.ned by using sta.istics of inela.tic events of two-pronged a.d higher m.ltiplicity events. Sta.da.d m.del m.a.urem.nts a.d sea.ches for new pa.ticles deca.ing to qua.ks often rely on suppressing a.la.ge gluon-induced *** pa.er describes the m.a.urem.nt of the efficiencies of qua.k/gluon ta.gers developed within the a.La.
